Went in for hard gel removal. I've had this removed at my normal go-to nail salon, I know it needs to be drilled off. Soaking in acetone does not remove "hard gel". The nail tech left red nail polish around the edges, did not ask if I wanted them cut or cleaned up. She did not file my nails to match. I asked her to cut them down and she stopped filing the gel off and did not go back to it. My left hand still has the hard gel on my nails. See picture below. The nail tech was rough on my hands, burning my nail with the drill and had an attitude. I felt like an inconvenience to ask her to remove the red nail polish and cut my nails down, when that should be a given in a removal. I had called the salon when I got home to inform the manager about my experience and he was rude and disrespectful yelling at me on the phone. Absolutely will not be going back. I love Patriot Nails! I have been coming here for a few years now and I always leave smiling. The owners Lucy and Andy are so nice and caring, about their customers and the presentation of their salon. All of their employees are so nice and say hi and know everyone's name. But as far as the quality of the service, I'm not going anywhere else. Everything is clean, I always like my mani/pedis. I have been to this salon several times prior, never any issues. Recently I came for a sweet spa day - ended up with terribly chipped nails and an infection! Will not be returning! Be careful who you let work on your nails and If you notice an uncomfortable cut on your skin - careful for an infection! Don't think the new owners are taking proper sanitation techniques seriously. I would NOT come here again! My infection costed me WAY more than the service that was provided. read more

I get a dip manicure and pedi here pretty regularly. I never have issues with the materials holding up like I do sometimes at other shops. There are very few communication problems here. Most of the workers speak very good English, so I'm able to tell them exactly what I want and there's no confusion and they're all genuinely nice people I would recommend I do have to say that the price of the shop is a little higher than others, but I guess that's what you pay for quality. read more

3 stars for convenient location & the nail tech was really nice I enjoyed chatting with her. She did a fantastic job with my ingrowns. BUT I was a few minutes early for my appt and I wouldn't have minded waiting. They put me in a pedi chair with water jets on which I love. But then I waited for quite some time to get started and the water was no longer warm. After waiting I was shocked when I saw a basket of timers. I go for a pedi with my hard earned money after an awful work day to relax and then I see a timer for my service? That alone I will not be returning to this salon. I get that we don't want appts to run together etc but that is just crazy procedure. As soon as the timer was set on the pedi stool I felt the opposite of relaxed and that my service would be rushed. ($55 for deluxe pedi which is the most I've ever paid at any salon) Again, the tech did a great job for the most part and was very very kind she would be the only reason I returned. when I was drying I did notice a few of my toes didn't have the whole nail painted so I grabbed the polish and fixed them myself as I didn't want to bug anyone they were busy and that was my own choice. I'm not a complainer as it's makes everyone uncomfortable and understand the customer service industry. Salon is clean, tools are clean. But I do think they could use a refresh of furnishings. Chairs weren't very comfy. They did seem to have a good amount of polish choices as well. This is my personal experience as my first visit. I have been going here for awhile now after stumbling upon it when my old standard was super busy one day. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did! I have been seeing Lucy since the day I walked in. She's so good at what she does, and makes you feel pampered from beginning to end. I always get an acrylic fill with gel polish, and can go 2.5 weeks between fills and my nails still look awesome! Everyone is very nice and the space is tastefully decorated. Their color wall is ever changing, to keep things fresh. Definitely would recommend stopping by! Patriot Nails is recently (7/2023) under new ownership. Both Andy and Lucy do a great job. They are meticulous and take their time. You do not feel rushed and leave feeling relaxed, especially after the neck/shoulder massage while your nails dry. The location is convenient, bright and always clean. The staff is kind and respectful and there are so many colors to pick from for regular polish, gel, and dip -including my favorite, glow in the dark! Today I visited Patriot Nails, as I had done in the past. I learned their are new owner ( former employees), the tech I had always gone to is no longer there. The newly hired tech did a great job. However, I could not relax and enjoy the mani/ pedi I had booked because apparently the new owner think that is is OK to have their 3 young daughters playing & running around the shop the entire time. When I went to leave the three of them were swinging on the exit door handle. Never once did the parents speak to them. A most unpleasant situation. read more

I tried this place as a walk in a few weeks ago for a fill and gel polish as my regular place was closed. The service was quick and nice. However, my nails had these weird dimples on them. Almost like water droplets fell on them while they were still wet. It wasn't awful, but a bit strange. Decided to go back again this week for another fill and this time my nails look lumpy. I'm not sure if this is a result of continuous fills (maybe I just need to remove them and apply a fresh set?), poor buffering from the technician, or an uneven application of fill or polish, but it's very strange and distracting. read more

Last week I went to get my toes down with my cousin. We asked if there was any wait they said no. Her nails started and they put my feet in cold water. When I told them the water was cold they continued to add more cold water. When the pedicure started she just kept digging at my nails and I said that hurt once. I have been going to Patriot Nails since it opened. I have had nothing but great experiences there with my manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing. I've been getting dip on my nails for several years. These manicures last up to four weeks with no chipping. I have visited every place in this area as well as places on vacation in the past. I will not go anywhere but Patriot Nails! Everybody is always so accommodating, they always have plenty of people on so the wait time is less than 10 minutes. Simply the BEST nail salon I've ever been to. My nail tech Lee was amazingly talented. I've never had such a great dip nail manicure. Usually other locations leave the edges a mess and Lee is so good. My nails look beautiful. I had her do them in white so I could add glitter myself later. They are so perfect they look fake. She also gives the best back massage OMG!!! I love her. This was the best experience. She will be my only nail tech. I have been going here for pedicures for years and I absolutely love it. After the remodel that had it was even better. Everyone who works there is so nice to me and the manager and most employees always remember me. The pedicures have gone up in price a little but it is without a doubt worth it. The new massage chairs are the only thing that helps my back feel better so we go about once a month. I live a few towns over so I usually would just go to another place to get my acrylics done. Yesterday I decided that I would make the drive to Mansfield anyways because I like the people there so much. When I walked in(no appointment) I was instantly greeted with smiles and then about a minute later Lynn came over and said that whenever I was ready I could come to the table. I couldn't decide on a color so Lynn brought over some more options and I ended up going with what she thought was best.(and I love it) She then informed me that my nails were getting infected, the other place was not taking care of me as they should. She instantly went to work and started to solve the problem. We had pleasant and fun conversation the entire time. She is an absolute sweetheart and I can't wait to see her at our appointment in 2 weeks. She even helped me decide on a new shape and basically made my nails look 3000% better. I am so happy. This place is fantastic! Apparently it used to be 4 Seasons Nails number (the sign still says that) but a tiny makeshift printed out piece of paper says that it's now called Patriots Nail. The atmosphere is upscale and since we went for a pedicure, I noticed that the seating for them were super fancy and brand new Hitatchi massage chairs. Upon walking in, I spotted a coffee area that also had ... *drumroll please*.... CHAMPAGNE AND WINE! Automatically, even if they made my nails look like smudged shit, I had decided to give them a 4 star review at minimum. When doing our toes, they spent extra time massaging our feet and legs which ladies.. let's be honest -- it's 70% of the reason why we get pedicures. This place was awesome and I will definitely be back again! read more

The staff was very friendly, and the gentleman than preformed the service was very kind...however within 20 minuets of leaving the salon my pinky was double the size, red, hot to the touch and incredibly painful. I ended up having to take the acrylic off that night because it hurt so bad..taking the nail off didn't solve my problem because the nail/ area around the nail was incredibly infected. I had a French mani/pedi. Gel on my fingernails. Loved the spa pedi chairs but not the finish product. The white was not crisp and clean...she didn't go to the sides of my nails. When i got home and looked at my toes I could see the old polish peeking through. I rubbed the big toe and the polish actually rubbed off. The woman cut my fingernails nails down and filed them square as I requested. One of my pinkies has a large raised area of gel that was not smoothed out, the nails are all crooked and on day 2 I had chips in 2 of them. I should have said something but I felt bad...everything went wrong...and I was over whelmed with everything I saw. The "Spa" treatment cost me 86.00. Loved the old place. Worse place eve!!! I went in to have a pedicure with Helen. She was horrible. I felt very rushed and she did not take the time with me. I Did not get the service I expected. Before this last appointment I met with Kaitlyn who was super friendly but for some reason she's no longer there. So I booked with Anna & when I arrived I told the lady with short hair I had an appointment, but she did not hear me say "Anna" & she had a different person work on my pedicure. Half way into the pedicure, the same lady with short hair came over and very rudely said that next time I book with a specific person I needed to say it. Had an appointment and waited 45 minutes after the appointment time and they finally took me. There was total miscommunication there, With what i was having done. I asked for acrylic fill and gel polish. Somehow they said i told them a full set with no tip. I was charged $50 when i should have paid $35. I already had the set on??? What a hot mess in there. They also told me that the prices they have written on the pamphlet is not correct and prices are not what you see, they have gone up. Maybe they should change the prices on the pamphlets first and the website. read more
