I came across Patriot Pretzel while spending the afternoon in Kernersville and this place was such a gem. It's off Main Street downtown Kernersville on a little side alleyway. There is a parking lot beside the shops.. I got to meet the owner's sons that were taking care of customers today and making pretzels. It was so nice to be greeted in such a friendly way, you don't get that anymore these days. Their pretzels are absolutely amazing, they made mine fresh and hot. They suggested cream cheese dip with the almond crunch pretzel and it was outstanding.! The customer service and product was so unexpectedly awesome, that I will definitely be a regular customer!!!! We came here on a Saturday around mid-day. I ordered the garlic Parmesan pretzel and their homemade lemonade. The pretzel was freshly made and had a great taste and consistency. My lemonade was half frozen lemonade and half normal lemonade. It was a perfect combination and was a great example of high quality homemade lemonade. My sister ordered the cinnamon sugar and enjoyed hers as well. I appreciated they had toys for my son to play with while we waited for our food. When you first walk in the delicious, sweet smell hits you right in the face. You're greeted with the friendliest owners and staff. After one of the sons said hello and shook my hand, he immediately went and washed his hands before preparing my pretzels. They have many options to choose from and can twist up whichever creations you're thinking on. They make them right there, right in front of you. They come out hot and fresh and they have many dipping choices, too. So good!!! I tried the chocolate with M&M's and the cinnamon sugar. Frosting dip for the cinnamon and a caramel dip for the chocolate. I love how friendly everyone was in the shop. They definitely love their country and they love God! I love pretzels just about as much as I love hotdogs. And I love hotdogs a lot! If I see a pretzel cart, kiosk, or stand anywhere I'm going to sample it. Patriot Pretzel is a small family owned pretzel shop in Kernersville. It's got a cozy vibe inside with sofas, soft chairs and a couple tables welcoming you to stay a while and hang out. They make their pretzels fresh to order and they have some fun flavors as well as some traditional ones. We got the almond crunch and then a traditional sea salt but added caramel sauce for a little sweet/salty combo. The service was super friendly and given this is a family owned place we were served by the owners which made it extra special and I knew we were in for a real treat. Our pretzels came out in no time and they were so hot and fresh we had to wait for them to cool a little before digging in. Immediately I loved the sea salt one dipped in a little caramel. So hot and fresh with just enough salt to sweet ratio I wanted. The almond crunch was really good and so different and extra messy for sure! I was a little hesitant to try at first, due to the trump sign in the window. However, as I walked by, someone popped out their head and encouraged us to come in. I got the cinnamon sugar pretzel with the homemade cream cheese dip and it was AMAZING. I was also able to try the powdered sugar pretzel and that was also yummy. The inside is quaint with a few comfy seats but it's really cool how you're able to watch them make the pretzels right in front of you. Great customer service and somehow even better pretzels. Perfect spot in Kernersville for a nice afternoon snack! We arrived to quite the busy kitchen, both members working taking orders. Went with a garlic pretzel and some cheese sauce to dip. The pretzels were fresh and made to order so we waited about 20 minutes or so as there were three or four orders ahead of us. Wish there was a little more space to sit inside, but there were plenty of benches and spots to sit outside. Even offered us a free drink while waiting which was nice. I went on a Monday, and it wasn't too busy the service was great and the buy behind the counter was supper nice and helpful considering it was my first time coming here. I ordered the powder sugar pretzel which is my absolute favorite we also ordered the cinnamon sugar pretzel which was great too they where very fresh and tasty . I will definitely be coming back for more pretzels I will say there isn't much seating area so I would take it to go but there is a coffee shop across this location. I love soft pretzels so when I saw this place, I knew I had to go! I went on a Saturday and they were pretty busy. Because they make the pretzels fresh and they were busy, we did have to wait a little while (about 15-20 mins). There wasn't a ton of seating inside so me and my boyfriend opted to sit outside. There were several spots to sit outside and the surrounding area was nice so the wait wasn't bad. I think it would be nice if they had more seating inside with tables and chairs. During our wait, one of the workers came out and apologized about the wait and offered us something to compensate. I thought that was very kind and they did tell us before ordering that the wait was about 15-20 minutes so we were fine with waiting. I ordered a sour cream and onion pretzel and it was delicious! The pretzels here are made slightly different than somewhere like Auntie Anne's and the dough is slightly denser in comparison. The sour cream and onion topping is what really took the pretzel to the next level. I like that they had several pretzel options so everyone can find something they like. read more

I thought this would be bigger but that's on me. Healthy pretzels. I like a sweeter dough than this to contrast with bitter mustard but I grew up on mall pretzels. These are not those. I'm not religious nor patriotic and this shop is both. It's ironic to me that they display what they do but y'all can figure that out. The young men running the store were interesting and kind. The pretzels are made fresh and hot. They have a nice selection of drinks and fresh lemonade. You can park behind. If you aren't from Kernersville (smart) it took me 20 minutes to find it with my live google map. It's down a walking alley. I would not go back or go out of my way to go back. They are often at festivals or used to be and I wouldn't get one there either. I think this is a niche within a niche. I love that that are healthy but not to my taste in a number of ways. The service is friendly, I really loved how willing they were to give us information and recommendations. We took them up on the ultimate jalapeño and decided to go with a cinnamon sugar with vanilla icing dipping. We were not disappointed. We started with the cinnamon sugar because (and this is a pro tip heads up) the ultimate jalapeño takes about 10 minutes from the time you order to make. Trust me when I say it is TOTALLY worth the wait. The cinnamon sugar was delicious, warm, and not too tough. Then it came...the ultimate jalapeño- this thing was dare I say, one of the best baked goods ever to enter my mouth.
