This is a great breakfast/brunch spot tucked away the corner of the Centre Stage shopping mall (behind Gianno's). Apparently the business has been around 2 years--how did I not know this?!?!?! Restaurant is counter service... you view menu, place order, and pay at register. Food is picked on opposite end of counter. We came during a midday morning lull and cashier was kind enough to bring out our food. Menu offers some unique selections as well as the usual suspects. They have a kids menu displayed at register. We ordered a Veggie Omelet, Chocolate Turtles French Toast, and Pistachio Cream Walnut (substituted Pecans) Bliss Belgian waffle. Everyone enjoyed their selections & there were even leftovers! By the time we finished eating, several people started trickling in for lunch. Dining room offers a high top table, bench seat table, and several 2-and 4-seat tables for dining in. Spacing in between tables provides ample room. Music is not too loud--you can engage in conversation without trying to talk over one another. Definitely adding this location to our breakfast/brunch rotation. I've been told pretty popular on the weekends.

This popped up on our breakfast search, good ratings so came. Open only til 2pm we got here just after 1. Greeted, meals were very good. Friendly, helpful. I'm not a fan of LED lights so next time we will order to go. Lights reflect off of menu so difficult to take picture for you all. Clean, industrial, wood decor. Coffee bar or special order coffees available. 2 coolers hold selection of sodas, teas, canned coffee, etc. Prices respectable and food was good. Come see them!

This was our first time eating here for breakfast. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but since they only have one cook our food took awhile. I'm assuming this place is best known for their bagels or sandwiches because my stuffed French toast came out very cold. My husband liked the spice they put in the hash browns and my daughter was happy with her pancakes. The coffee was very weak. Overall it was a bit of a disappointment. We may try the bagel next time if we are out this way.

Was in the mood for French Toast so I decided to come here. So glad I did! The banana nut caramel french toast is amazing! I also got an iced hazelnut coffee which was also good. The staff were very nice and welcoming and the wait was not long at all. I love the layout and look of the place. I definitely will be back again!

Something about this place made me feel back at home. Definitely an up north feel! Nice menu variety . You can taste the love in the ingredients . Quality! Not just run of the mill bagels. ! I don't live nearby but I will be back whenever I am .

Very friendly and professional staff, on top of having a large variety of food choices, with great taste and seasoning. We Will definitely come back to this awesome little place when in town.

Food is fresh and delicious. A huge variety of bagels-sweet and savory and plainer options. The service was wonderful-very nice and friendly and patient since it was our first time. It was nice and clean and not very loud--the ambiance was just right. We will be returning.

Picked up a tasty bagel breakfast the other day. First time visiting this spot, which has a clean and modern interior. The menu has many breakfast options, plenty of bagel and cream cheese flavors I ended up getting a sausage egg and cheese bagel on an egg bagel. My wife enjoyed a California breakfast sandwich, both were great, but there was definitely a bit of sticker shock in the pricing. With no pricing on the menu board it was a little surprising her breakfast sandwich was almost $10. It would be nice if they posted the pricing. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food

The newest addition to Centre Stage plaza, 68 Bagel & Grill is a bit of a headscratcher. The name suggests a location further up Eastchester past the Palladium, and a more established bagel shop is less than a mile away. This bafflement aside, 68 Bagel & Grill does have several things going for it. It's spacious and clean, the staff is courteous, and there are more menu options than you'd expect. Like the other area bagel shops, 68 offers bagels with various spreads, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. To those, they add French toasts (including stuffed), pancakes, and omelets. The ability to get a more-than-a-sandwich breakfast without the bustle of a diner is a definite draw. The fact that they use Giacomo's meats is another perk in their favor. For my first visit, I picked up a Jersey Shore (Taylor ham/egg/cheese) on an everything bagel to go. The sandwich was prepped quickly, and the pricing was fair. The melty cheese/salty meat combination hit all the right flavor notes. The bagel, however, was chewier and breadier than a true New York style, and the texture seemed a bit off. They make them in-house rather than using New Garden as a supplier, so they get points for effort at least. If getting your hands on a great bagel is your only concern, you're probably better served going down the street. However, if you value ambiance, customer service, variety, or aren't seeking bagel supremacy, 68 Bagel & Grill makes for an attractive breakfast or lunch option.

68 Bagel & Grill has been my new go to spot recently. This is my 3rd Saturday in a row, picking food up from here . I grew up eating bagels so when I recently found out about this spot , I knew I had to try it!! But they also sell delicious sandwhiches & pancakes to name a few . The staff is always friendly & helpful over the phone & in person . I haven't had a chance to dine in but the establishment is very clean. I haven't tried any other bagel except the bagel beast. It's that good! Who doesn't love steak and eggs right ? They don't slack on the portions either! I get my bagel beast with an Asiago bagel, slightly toasted. This bagel can get a lil messy but if you don't mind cheese on the corner of your mouth after taking a bite, then it's totally worth it! I ordered for the first time - the banana nut caramel pancakes. This didn't disappoint . It comes with 4 of most perfectly round & fluffiest pancakes. The pancakes are topped with slices of fresh bananas and pecans. The slices of bananas and pecans were falling off the pancake. Again, they do not slack on portions! I had two bites and was instantly full! This pancake is sweet but not overly sweet and very fulfilling . My husbands go to order is the reuben sandwhich on toasted Texas toast. This Sandwhich is so good! I think my favorite part of biting into this sandwhich is the crunch from the coleslaw. The thousand island dressing compliments the coleslaw well. It gives this sweet savory flavor .Who knew coleslaw could taste this good on a sandwhich with meat stacked on it. They don't stay open late so make sure you get here during breakfast/brunch hours. You won't be disappointed!

It's a new family owned place in High point, and we stopped by for breakfast with the family. The ambience is simple and plain with plenty of seats. The menu has different bagel styles to choose from along with various cream cheese flavors. They also have various deli sandwiches options. We tried the PB&J bagel on whole wheat everything (jelly options are strawberry or grape), along with few plain bagels and cream cheese/Jalapeño cream cheese. The cream cheese flavors were ok, but we were a bit disappointed with the bagels as they were very hard, and did not really looked fresh. We also tried the western omelette and southwest omelettes, and they were strictly ok too. The coffee was brewed in-house and not that great. The staff was warm and friendly, and hopefully their food quality continues to be on the up and up!

    Custom menu item

Custom menu item: 10/10 I came in craving something they didn't have on the menu and they were very accommodating! I asked for the cheesesteak bagel, minus the bagel and on top of hash browns! And the results were fantastic! They should 100% put this on the menu. Everything was seasoned to perfection and I didn't even need to put hot sauce on it like I normally do! I would give this hash brown bowl a 10/10, next time I will add eggs! Strawberry Glazed Pancakes: 9/10 They were so fluffy and delicious. It took me a while to get through them because I had a lot of food but it stayed hot till the very end! Coated with their whipped butter, these pancakes can't be beat! French Toast: 8/10 The French toast was cooked great. Crispy on the edges but soft once you bite into and the slices weren't too big. Overall they were delicious The Beast: 8/10 Tasty and seasoned well, I would add more grilled onions to it and maybe butter on the bagel Overall: 10/10 would recommend The atmosphere was very calm, it was clean and the staff was friendly. I have never been here before, but next time I come back to High Point I'm making it a point to stop here!

Coffee bleeding through the cup and this was my third cup. Crazy! And this coffee was $3.47.

I had the French toast platter with the fried chicken. The French toast was pretty good but the bread used was pretty flat but it was tasty and the chicken was overcooked, there was some black spots from being fried too long. The hit at our table was the cheesy grits, very cheesy and flavorful. We'd definitely go back to try other things on the very extensive menu!!

The ladies who work here are very friendly and helpful, came around a few times to check on me, offered fried side to go with the greens , offered a refill on my sweet tea. Great service! About the food. Probably the BEST FRIED CHICKEN in the area. I really can't judge on that because I haven't sampled other fried chicken in the vicinity but based on my own research of sampling fried chicken all over North Carolina, I feel confident in my assumption. It was fried just right. It was SEASONED. It had a very nice batter that was crunchy and the chicken in the inside was tender and juicy. Every bite was tender and juicy. These ladies should teach a cooking class on how to make fried chicken-to other restaurants. The SWEET POTATOES were perfectly cooked and flavored in butter and cinnamon. You could eat it as a dessert. But not overly sweet. Just right. The GREENS were tender and seasoned perfectly. Greens and fried side with their delicious CORNBREAD could be a meal in itself. The SWEET TEA-perfect! All around, best home cooked food/soul food you can get. I will be back and I highly recommend for true SOUTHERN COMFORT food.

Faced with a banana French toast craving, it seemed as good an option as any, and it proved to be better than expected. Cagney's is spacious and seemed even more so as it was largely empty when I stopped by on a Tuesday morning (they likely get considerably busier on the weekends). The menu is big too: breakfast options included plates, omelets, benedicts, pancakes, waffles, and more. Come here later in the day, and you can find everything from salads and sandwiches to Greek to Tex-Mex to pizza. I opted for two pieces of Bananas Foster French Toast with a scrambled egg on the side. Service was fast and friendly, and the kitchen churned out the food quickly. At $8, it was practically a steal and though not the best I've had (it could have used some chopped nuts), it was better than it needed to be for that price point. The banana/brown sugar/whipped cream topping on the French toast made for a sweet bite, and the egg wasn't overcooked. I don't know how Cagney's rates as a lunch/dinner option or during busier times, but for a weekday breakfast, it's well worth your consideration for a good bite at an affordable price.
