The part itself maxes out around $200 even at a dealership -- so I don't know what the other $500 is for. It's disheartening when you come in being completely transparent and honest about your situation, and this is what you get in return. It feels like the more straightforward you are, the more certain shops try to take advantage of you. I had a question regarding the price but she Lured me in to bring in the car in the shop and would refuse to give me price over the phone. After fixing the car now I am 100% sure They used the wrong parts or they didn't put the sensor back ,as I need to push the brakes and the clutch to start the car .while previously I only had to press the clutch which is Ford standard!!!! Over the weekend, my wife's car broke down. Smelled like gas and gas was spraying everywhere under the hood I literally thought the car was going to catch on fire. I just knew it was going to be bad! After assessing the situation, the fuel rail going to the fuel injectors had a crack in it, spraying raw fuel everywhere.
