Patriot recently completed a complete roof replacement for me and did an outstanding job from start to finish. JD was my point person. He was very knowledgeable and professional and was the only one of three people I contacted that actually walked my roof and made recommendations. Once he completed his inspection and we discussed options he sent me a very detailed bid for the work; I mean DETAILED. I strongly recommend this Patriot Roofing. And, the high quality of the work is second to none. They are the best. Moreover, their selfless nature is extended with their generous donations to Operation Pay It Forward, a veteran non-profit organization, formed to help our returning warriors overcome the injuries and demons they brought back with them from combat. Patriot Roofing replaced our roof in July of 2020. With the first rain storm that occurred in our area, a waterfall came gushing into our house through an obvious roofing installation error. We contacted them immediately and their response, prior to even viewing the situation or listening to us on the phone, was to instantly blame and assume we have leaking windows(we do not, and this leak was no where near a window). They also stated that they would not be able to come out to our property for a few days. We then instantly sent a photo to them of the roof in the area where it was leaking and they sent out a repair crew immediately. This crew performed some pretty shoddy repairs, but they did stop the leak. The owner, Eric Pauly, then came out to our home about a week later, and tried to convince us that this insane amount of water running through our house was caused by a crack in our stucco and wind blown water coming in sideways. There actually is no crack in our stucco, and this particular storm was without wind. We have hired 3 separate roofing companies to come out and give their analysis of the situation and they all say the same thing. Poor roofing installation, to put it politely. We also noticed that they failed to fix a prior issue with our roof that we had noticed when we contacted them in the first place. They were supposed to also have repaired the damaged drywall in this area, and did not. We contacted the owner back in August regarding this and he assured us that the cause of the leak was fixed, so I let the dry wall issue go. Now we have 2 holes in our ceiling from this incompetence. We have contacted Patriot Roofing numerous times to perform the necessary repairs and they have refused every time. Still insisting on trying to prove water is leaking through a crack that doesn't even exist in our home. They have gone as far as to forge email communication with us to their insurance company, in order to avoid responsibility. Nobody is perfect, things happen. Some companies (I assume this one does) use sub contractors to perform work, and nobody from Patriot Roofing actually came and did a final inspection to ensure their sub's/workers performed the job correctly and to their quality standards. We gave them every possibility to correct the issue and perform the necessary repairs as stated in our original contract and confirmed by 4 other independent, unbiased, roofing professionals. Patriot Roofing has still refused to accept any responsibility. This is the real issue. If you can't trust the company to fix something if it goes wrong, then what good is their warranty in the first place? This company does NOT stand by their work. read more

I highly recommend these guys! Phil was great to work with and helped me deal with the insurance company. He was always easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions with patience and good humor. When it came time for the roof to go on, Phil and JD managed an awesome team. They were pleasant, fast working, and super clean. They picked up all the roofing materials that didn't make it in the dumpster and went around twice with a large magnet tool to make sure no metal was left behind. I was a little worried about some of my plants becoming collateral damage put not a single bush or flower was harmed. They even swept our driveway after the first and second day. We had lots of rotten wood and fascia because our roof has very little pitch (and it was super old), so they installed ice and water shield over the entire roof. They also installed vents for all the bathrooms and even saved us money by taking down and disposing of all our gutters and drains. Their work is even guaranteed for ten years. What a great crew! An insurance adjustor thought my 8 month old roof was 8 years old... Poor quality shingles, excessive wear from careless workers, poor quality installation, leaks, inadequate flashing, numerous nail heads showing, you name it, it is there. JD from Patriot Roofing did an amazing job for me, in a complete roof replacement. I got 12 bids from various roofing companies in the SLC area and ONLY Patriot said I had storm damage and suggested we call my home insurance right away. Sure enough they covered all but my $500 deductible which was an absolutely blessing for me at this time of zero cash flow in my professional life. Patriot was even able to do an outstanding job in snow season. JD and his crew were very professional, knowledgeable about roofing and truly wonderful to work with.
