Hands down best pizza I've had and not just their cheese. The Mac and cheese pizza is so delicious. Their Caesar dressing is also unique but so delicious. When they add bread with the salad it's phenomenal because it's not that thin, hard to chew, pita. The bread is fluffy and baked perfectly. read more

The food is good when they get your order right. We have given them so many chances. At first it was little screw ups, like I ordered a small and a large pizza. I got three smalls. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, pineapple and half green pepper, I got half pepperoni. But my recent order is what made my husband say we are not going there anymore. I ordered a steak bomb and a steak tip. We got two steak bombs, which my husband hates. So just make sure to double check your order. Be prepared for tiny screw ups. read more

The old saying don't judge a book by its cover is spot on with this place. I actually drove past this place when I saw it from the outside. But when I read a few of the reviews I decided to go back and was well worth it. It's more of a take-out place but it was definitely not dead. This place was busy from the moment I walked in and sat down. Even as I left people where still pulling up so give it a shot if you are on the fence. I ordered the pastrami plate. I was expecting better quality from all of these high reviews, what I didn't expect was that the "bbq pulled pork dinner" that my partner ordered was basically a sandwich with very little pulled pork to it and BONES in the sandwich, the sides were fries and a small salad which were okay but the bones in the sandwich is just not what anyone should find in their pulled pork dinner. My chicken kabob dinner plate was good, the chicken was moist and had a good flavor to it and the fries and salad that came with the meal were okay just like in my partners plate. I have been to the establishment 4 times. The last time was the last. I told the man taking my order I wanted a "small" pulled chicken sandwich. And I wanted a grilled bun. I asked him for the grilled bun 3 times. I was charged for a large sandwich and the bun wasn't toasted or grilled. The place is run down and filthy for the price they charge you would think they would clean up the joint. Paint is cheap. It wouldnt hurt my feelings if this hole in the wall was to close down. read more

Stopped by here during a wild snow storm on the way back to boston, and decided to give this place a try. The guy who rang us up was extremely friendly, and even brought us our food when ready. I got a small pepperoni pizza, and my girlfriend got ziti pasta with marinara sauce and chicken. The food was great, and quite delicious. Prices for the food were quite reasonable and the size portion was just right. Atmosphere of the place leaves a bit to be desired, but the restaurant serves mainly as a pickup or delivery place and that's just fine for me. read more

We have been ordering from here for the past 5 years sometimes multiple times a week and every time the food & service goes down hill. Our order is always wrong and tonight we waited 1 hour and 20 min for our delivery. My husband had to call and the woman who answered the phone said "the driver left a while ago". But 5 minutes later he pulled into our driveway (we don't live far!) with cold pizza that had been sitting for a while & ice cold food. Sad to say but we are done ordering here! read more

I'm gonna be honest, this place is good about 75% of the time. Great roast beef sandwiches, great pizza. The delivery is for the most part good. However, today I ordered a roast beef special plate and I asked for a wrap today instead of a bun. It comes with fries and cole slaw. The person taking my order said it would arrive in 25- 35 minutes. It arrived in an hour, and no wrap, the fries were cold, and I was pretty unhappy. This doesn't happen ALL the time, just like maybe 10 - 20 percent of the time. I'd complain, but they wouldn't offer me anything other than excuses for my time. Have driven past this place for years, and finally decided to give the roast beef sandwich a try. Basic atmosphere - upholstered booths and a couple of tables. Owner is friendly and appreciative of customers' business. Thinly sliced, medium rare roast beef must have been piled two inches thick. Thinly sliced fries were great. We were offered sauces, so I took bbq on the side, which was a tasty addition. No beer or wine is served, so I enjoyed a soft drink with my sandwich. SUGGESTION: Do NOT tip with the Credit Card!!! Long story. I did some research to find the best Roast Beef around, and read this place had it. AND they did. But there were other issues. One was the Special Pizza. Chicken, Broccoli Alfredo. The chicken is just shavings with at least two pieces of Gristle on each Pizza Slice. Who wants to be spitting out pieces of Gristle? But what REALLY ticked me off was the Delivery service. Actually the first time, they driver was awesome. I tipped well because he was on time and I know gas has gone up. Great Kid. Now, the second time I ordered, I used a CC and gave another good tip (35%). This time the a different kid calls me 50 minutes past the delivery time saying he's at the HOSPITAL, and where do I meet? I asked if he had GPS? He said Yes. Idiot!!! He HAD my ADDRESS and shows up an hour late, with two friends partying with him in the car. The Pizza is cold and dried out. Real smart ass too. 3.5 stars ! Ordered delivery last night using EAT 24 (yay!) after the longest most awful day. I really just didn't want to cook.. and sick to death of the only places that deliver to me (Chinese or Pizza) and just wanted a salad with some greasy appetizers. Usually there's an issue finding my place as the street is devoid of light. I was happily surprised when our order arrived not only earlier than the estimated 40 mins. but warm and fresh. He had a steak and cheese and I got a steak tip salad as we split the mozz sticks. Ok so the mozz sticks aren't that great but certainly not poor.. but the marinara sauce that came with it made me regret not at least giving the pizza a shot. It was quite good and full of garlic! Quality of the steak was probably the best you are going to find outside of a real find dining restaurant. Both the sammich and the salad were loaded with steak. Not overly seasoned and a little tough, but still quite good! ( They did not ask about done-ness for the tips fyi) The dressings here though I gotta say, are good, but not varied. Choices are Italian, Ranch or Caesar. Caesar looks as dark as honey mustard but tastes hommade, really good I wish i had ordered like 5x dressing but thats the crappy thing, they nickel and dime you for extras here ( feta +80 cents, dressing + 60 cents each)/. No big deal if you don't mind paying for the extras. Overall we were pleased and will absolutely give the pizza a shot next time. read more

The food i had ordered from there was disgusting. There is never an issue with the food but tonight it was awful. I had ordered a ham and cheese pita with extra mayo it fell apart while i was eating it and usually they come cut mine didn't the first time i ordered that it had mayo on both sides (xtra mayo) and i could actually eat it. Also bought fried mushrooms, soggy as all get out. Don't waste your money here go elsewhere. Food is tasteless soggy and a waste of money. I called and the owner rebelled against what i was saying. I have been a repeat customer for a few years now. Never had an issue. As I arrived back from vacation today, we decided to order some food. I googled the menu and I noticed it gave the option to order online. As I arrived to pick up my order, it wasn't even started. The older man behind the counter pointed his finger at me and yelled "you never order online always call". Which I usually call but when I saw the option I wanted to try it. Never again will I go there after being disrespected and talked to like I was. Good job losing a customer because of one person's poor choice of words. Salads are good, but in my opinion pricey for what you get but they come with a pita which are the best I've had, very soft and you can tell they're fresh. Stopped here on a total lark. Returning home to Maine from Hinsdale after visiting the daughter at Camp Taconic. We were hungry. Punched in food on the gps. Roast Beef came up. Next exit. We took it. I almost turned around when I entered the driveway because the place is a total dump. Really. But I was hungry. We ventured in. I asked the counter guy what was good. He said everything. O.k. I ordered the Roast Beef because, well, it was part of the name of the place. My wife order the Shish Kabob. We went outside to the deck and waited. Quickly thereafter, they brought out our meals. Yummy, yummy, yummy. As another reviewer noted, the horseradish sauce is awesome, and my Roast Beef sandwich was delightful. The wife was ecstatic about her shish-ka-bob. Heavenly marinated chicken, cooked just right, with a nice sauce to go along with it, along with what appeared to be freshly made pita bread. We both had fries that were to die for. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. I'd stop here again. Just wish they'd clean the place up a bit. It really is a dump. read more

I should have driven away at first site. Place is a dump inside and out. Very large menu, another red flag, usually when a menu contains everything from "gourmet" pizza to subs to burgers to roast beef to ice cream, something's gotta give. Ordered two roast beef sandwiches on an onion roll. Instead of cooking the "fresh" roast beef on the grill and melting the cheese on top, he popped it I to the microwave barely heating the red raw beef and scarcely melting the cheese. Considering my purchase as a goodwill donation to the owners. Lesson learned. Be warned and do not waste your time here. read more

This is a reliable place to stop for a salad or sandwich and soft drink. Roast beef sandwiches are made to your specifications and feature very thinly sliced roast beef. Salads are huge. I'm looking forward to ordering a steak and cheese grinder at our next post golf lunch. read more

We love this place and the guys who run it. We order out from here almost weekly, mostly pizza. Our current fave is the Hawaiian. My hubby is a BIG fan of their pastrami and pulled pork sandwiches too. Get your awesome food to go or delivered if you don't care to dine in. Everyone who works there is super nice, and we love supporting a local, good restaurant. There are many other pizza places in our area, Patriots is our first and only choice. read more
