My first time coming was on a Sunday afternoon after church. The parking lot was full so I expected to come in and wait. To my surprise, the restaurant had a lot of people yet they had plenty of seating. I got sat immediately and I noticed how fast the waiters and waitress moved. They seemed to be work together like a good oiled machine. I asked my waiter for a recommendation and he recommend what was on the happy hour menu which was the beef fajitas. So I proceeded with his recommendation. I waited the most about 6 minutes for my order to come out and to my surprise the food was FRESH and HOT!!! Just like I like it. I ate my food and left NOTHING uneaten. Lol. Everything came out to be less Than $12 including tax and i was full and satisfied (I had water to drink). I will be back again!!!! Not good at all today. Ordered the La Senorita plate and the food was bad all around. The tamale tasted spoiled so I had to spit it out into my napkin. The meat in the taco was cold. The guacamole tasted old. My plate was dirty all around the outer edge. I did speak with the floor manager and told him my issues. He said they just changed tamale vendors yesterday. First Off Outstanding Job to the Patron Grill Staff l have always heard go eat where the locals eat. Patron Grill seems to be one of those gatherings places. Parking lot was full when we pulled in, there was a quick wait. We were seated hot chips and warm Salsa and Cream of Guacamole Salsa. We had our beverages served before we had a chance to read through the enormous menu options. Valeria was our host for tonight. l ordered the Mixed Fajitas for one and wife ordered Julissa's Salad. Our total wait time was maybe 8 minutes before our dinner arrived. The Fajitas were served on a Hot Plate from Hades. The aroma of grilled onions and marinated meats was delightful. My wife's salad was huge, enough for 2 people to enjoy. The staff was unbelievably fast, zipping past us with server trays full of delightful dishes. We moved to the Livingston area in May of 2023 and initially found Patron Grill to be our spot. We've enjoyed patronizing their establishment, but over the course of the last year, it's declined. I would have easily rated a 5 when we first discovered it, but it's dropped in my opinion. Lots of flies in the restaurant, the bathrooms are always a mess, the food doesn't come out right and the quality of the food has dropped. Today our food here was totally different from the past times we've come here. I dnt know if it's management or even there have been a change in ownership. The Food today was less than sub par to say the least. I ordered stuffed Jalepenõ wrapped in bacon. They had to have been pre done. They were room temp and super greasy..The bacon was flimsy and the taste was not as before. I ordered they appetizer quesadillas (chicken) they were cold when I got them and could not be eaten. I did get on down but the rest was just thrown away. I let the server know and he offered something else,but at this point I feel it to be a useless feat. The service was very slow this afternoon. It seemed one server was working the large room on the left all alone & it was full. I ordered the chalupas and they are always delicious. Today, they didn't have their normal ingredients. The chalupas are normally served on 2 flat tostado shells with beans, beef, lettuce, tomato, queso, and guacamole. Today, they were served on 2 very small red tortilla bowls that were hard and stale. It took 2 bites of food to fill each bowl. There was a very small amount of beef, mostly lettuce, no queso, no guacamole and they still charged $10.99 for this very small meal. I left there hungry. That has never happened before! read more
