Not really worth the visit. The husband ordered the sampler & calamari, which wasn't that good. The marinara sauce was tangy, which was a little different. He couldn't even finish it, too oily and not tasty!! 2 stars for the super nice host taking our order though. read more

I can't get over the flies. There were so many flies. And there was fly paper with hundreds of flies stuck to it- right next to our table. It was so gross to look at while you were trying to enjoy your lunch. The food was alright. The service was slow, and we had to ask for things several times. But the flies. Were. Crazy. They had a bug zapper close to us (that wasn't turned on and the waitress said she had no idea how to operate)- they obviously know there is an issue....why would they even put a table over in that area? Stopped here on the way to Crawford. Super cute little bar and grill in a small town. Service was good. I got the BLT and really enjoyed it. They didn't skip on the ingredients and the bacon was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got a burger and the garlic fries and he really enjoyed that. I would stop here again next time I come though. read more

I was looking for somewhere to stop for lunch and came across this place. The exterior was much like most of the buildings along the street. The interior of the restaurant portion was pleasant, there was a bar portion in the back but I didn't venture back there. There was only 1 waitress working and at the peak there were 10 tables to cover and while she was doing her best the service was slow. I ordered the Navajo Taco, chicken, cheese, lettuce and refried beans on a flat hard shell. It was good although I think it would be real good on some fry bread. I enjoyed my meal and the service could be improved by giving Mary some lunchtime help with the tables. read more

Super disappointed. This was our second choice for dining as the other spots were closed (on a Saturday!). My relatives said that it would be slow, but I was no where prepared for this level of slowness. We had a table of 7 and the food came out at different times, not too mention the one hamburger ordered didn't even arrive until 20 minutes after everyone was finished eating. I felt bad for the one server on staff for the whole place! The dishwasher was out delivering food and trying to help as much as she could. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant was atrocious! Flies everywhere both alive and dead on floor and sticky tape window. Last but not least there was a black curly hair found in one of the sandwiches, at which point we had already been there for going on two hours! I will ever eat here again when I come to town. read more

It was very slow when I went to eat here. No reason for over looked issues with food. I was served a baked potato that literally tasted like it was 5 days old. Brown in color, dry and disgusting. Why wasn't it looked at before serving it to me? I'm sorry but the food was just not great. Cute little restaurant though. read more

What a little gem in the rough! Just stopped in on a whim. Not busy and the best food! We had fish sandwich, ruben and burger. Burger was a little more done than he preferred but was still good. Corned beef was tender and lean and actually corned beef, not pastrami. Fish was crispy and not greasy. Service was great (does she EVER sit down??). We will be back. read more

The meal I had here was a fish sandwich. The fish that was served was 1 and 1/2 in wide by 1/4 inch thick absolutely disgusting. The bread that was served with this was a bun that was over three times the size of the fish this fish meal is not a good meal to get probably will not go back again. read more

I was torn between a 3 and a 4 star. Food was great, service was great, and the decor is actually kinda nice with purple party lights around the natural wood poles. My hamburger was handmade, not a pre made patty and tasted great. Even the bun was not an ordinary store bun. We will go back again. Have to try the key lime pie. They were out. read more

My wife and I decided to give this place a try twice last week and left with mixed feelings both times. It is definitely a dive bar, for better or worse. Very dark and cluttered with tacky decorations, and seemed to double as a Raiders team bar as well (again, for better or worse). It certainly was a local hangout and had a poker table in the back with a game going on when we arrived. The place has your standard bar fare, pub food. We ordered fish and chips and garlic fries to share and we're actually quite impressed with the quality. Fish was Pollock I believe, and used a chicken fried steak batter which was wonderful, and the garlic mixture they pour over their shoestring fries was very flavorful. The serving staff was less than warm and hospitable however. It seemed like a family endeavor, and we immediately felt like outsiders by a brusque, and cold staff. The server we had the second day was more friendly but very inexperienced, rarely do we find small restaurants with acceptable training programs. She counted out our change wrong twice (the first time giving us too much back), and seemed to get frustrated with us when we tried to correct her. Not quite what we'd hoped for "the friendliest town around." They do have some TVs and carry sports packages so we were able to watch LSU and later the Broncos play. They also advertised themselves as Wi-Fi hotspot but didn't have any wifi working when we went. When we asked about it we got a prompt, "I dunno," followed by an immediate view of her back. It's a typical small town bar, glaring favoritism towards the regulars and a bit of a boys club, but with above average bar food. I'd suggest coming here to try it out, especially over most other bars in the area. If you know what to expect going in you will likely enjoy your meal and your stay. read more

Last time we ate food from here was August 2020. We ordered burgers via takeout, they were inedible! We picked up our food and headed to the park to eat, we each took one bite of our burgers, ate a couple of fries and threw it away. And, honestly, COVID is no excuse for bad food. read more

Finally tried Pat's out today. I had the cobb salad and it was terrific. There was fresh avocado, tomato, chicken, bacon, egg, and tons of blue cheese on it. YUM!! The service was friendly and very attentive. I'll definitely be back! read more

It's 92 degrees out and I just came out of Black Canyon on the motorcycle, hoping to find a local place with cold beer, neat Jim Beam and palatable food. What a great find! The beer was very cold, with super frosty mugs, they had plenty of Jim and the food was surprisingly good considering the overall "dive bar" look. I had a Deluxe House Salad (I was dying from the heat ... hoping for something fresh and cooling). It's a large salad, heaping with all the best goodies like fresh chopped tomatoes, lots of olives, crisp cucumbers, FRESH field greens - no iceberg lettuce here! I got the strawberry vinaigrette (think I am desperate for cool!) and it is like a thin fresh strawberry jam ... super tasty and tastes like it's homemade. I sit at the bar (always) and they had a big tv playing drag races. The bartender was super attentive and nice. There was an older woman there that seemed like a manager and she was also very pleasant. It's obviously a local place - everyone called each other out by name but I didn't feel left out at all. The couple next to me were having burgers and they looked juicy and smelled divine. The couple said they were really good lol. This is not a five star restaurant ... this is a local dive bar in Hotchkiss CO - don't expect white glove service. BUT - I am writing this review because I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Kudos to these guys - it's hard enough to be in the restaurant business. Couple that with a super small town with fluctuating visitors and they are going above and beyond. Thanks guys! read more

Excellent service, food, and beer. The Mexican burger was tremendous.

We stopped in recently on a trip down from Durango and got really sick after eating here. The food is bad tasting and the beer slightly warm and skunkie. The tables were sticky and gross. read more
