Store staff were highly engaged with customers, really helpful and in good spirit. I forget the name of the young lady who helped me, but she was very upbeat and made it seem like working there was the hallmark of her career! See what I did there? Hallmark! I bought some really cute Christmas stuff on sale. Great experience, highly recommended, will be back!

I usually associate Hallmark with cheesy plastic ornaments and tacky gifts but this Pasadena store is really nice. It has jewelry made with hand blown glass, other beautiful handmade jewelry in Sterling Silver, books written and published by local writers and one of a kind greeting cards. It is a neat little gift shop. I got acquainted with the owner Claudia Gemmer - a friendly and cheerful lady and had a great time chatting with her. Parking is ample, access around can be tricky as sections can be narrow but is manageable. Staff here are super helpful and friendly. So, temper my review with this in mind. ;) That being said, I have zero complaints about this location. Other than... it simply doesn't have the same footprint they have out in D-ville. It feels cramped inside, and there isn't a lot of room for a cart or moving around too much. Still, they have a ton of gardening and decorating products, especially around Christmastime! We were actually here to see Santa, since we couldn't book him at the other location. But, I'm glad we checked it out. They have a Rise Up coffee shop attached too, which was convenient. Made for a nice little treat after shopping. I really don't have a lot else to say. It's still hit-or-miss as far as value is concerned. Some items seem vastly overpriced, and others are more reasonable. You'll pay more for seasonal items, of course, but check back after said season is over (or close to its end), and you can find some very good bargains. The customer service is on par as well. Very friendly staff who are helpful and approachable. Never had an issue with service at Homestead! Overall, great garden shop in Severna Park, and were it closer, I'd be a regular here instead. I love their holiday train setup in the back as well!
