I was recommended to this place and I took a chance on it after reading through their web page. The site says they can fix long cracks. The windshield was hit one the driver's side with a rock and had 2 star cracks and one of the cracks started stretching out about 13 inches across the windshield. Right at eye level for the driver. So I went in and the technician said I would barely be able to see the crack when he was done and the two star cracks would be virtually gone at a cost of $130. When he was done I could still clearly see everything. Especially the star cracks which looked almost untouched. Plus now I had these little holes drilled into my windshield. Two right in front at driver's eye level that he said would stop it from spreading/cracking more. By that time it was already 6pm which is their closing time. So I left and called them the next day. The lady on the phone was very nice and informed me they'd refill the cracks at no charge and just bring the receipt. I returned and a different technician is there and tells me that the previous guy did a pretty good job!?!? And tells me he can't do anymore to it. So I call their number and ask for a refund. After a couple of times being put on hold she said they contacted the tech and he would do the work. And he did make it slightly better than the first guy. Drilled more clearly visible holes around the star cracks. And said he could drill one more hole in the front to help fill in the long crack. But he wasn't sure it would work. So I opted to not have another hole right in front of my face while driving. Drove home and the sun glares right off the long crack and into my eyes. Both technicians and the representative on the phone were all friendly. But the quality of work I had done just wasn't any good. I've attached some pictures to see for yourself. Ended up replacing the entire windshield. No refund either. read more

Then a few months later another section started running from the same rock chip That was suppose to be repaired! The girl in the office when you call is very unprofessional and rude. I think my tech was named Hollingsworth. He was great! All the other windshield repair companies told me my crack was too big (14 inches), but he said "of course we can repair that." He called my insurance company and they covered it for free. It took him a little longer than the sign said it would (took nearly an hour) but he did such a great job that I didn't mind too much. And he was so professional and friendly. Very happy with Patsco, I would come back again if I am unfortunate enough to have another rock attack my window. read more

Ruined my windshield! Had a star-like chip the size of a green pea in the bottom left-hand corner of my windshield. I took it to a Patsco satellite location in San Antonio. The guy told me it was no problem and he could fix it in 10 mins. When I came back from shopping, he told me he had some bad news and showed me a crack in my windshield at least 10 inches long that now stretches right into my line of vision while driving. He told me he'd fixed it but there was tape over the crack so I couldn't see the extent of damages, but he told me it would be good the next day. When I brought my car back the next day to have the tape removed, it revealed that very long crack that now interferes with my line of vision while driving. Another guy tried to go over it again and again, but the crack is still there. They told me that even though there is now a long crack along my windshield (that they created) it was repaired and there was nothing they could do about the new crack since they "repaired" it. I told them it was not repaired, they made it worse. I also found out that the guy who did my window was new and didn't do the procedure right and that he should have had a trainer with him, but didn't. The guy also failed to tell me that I could have it done for free and that my insurance company would waive my deductible so I paid, out of pocket. I asked to speak to the manager and they called but gave me someone at the front office because they said "the manager was too busy". I didn't want to talk to the front office because I knew it would be useless. I ended up calling their front office anyway because now my windshield needs to be replaced and she told me they won't do it, it was at my own risk, but they would give me my $40.00 back, but it would take about 7 business days to receive it (aaarrggh!!). I will call my insurance company to see what further actions I can take because this is very bad business. I do not recommend. I can't say it enough. read more

Another glass repair shop said they could not repair my 12 inch crack in my windshield. They said it needed replace. I was quoted about $200 to replace the windshield on my vehicle. This company is a LIAR I was asked to write a review for 25.00... and I will be paid 25.00 so I wrote the review, only to find out that was a lie. I feel used because this company tricked me into writing a review for them which I deleted because it was all lies, and when I called they told me. ' Oh I'm sorry we don't know when the techs will have cash to pay you if you want you can keep going by the location to see if they have cash to pay you for the review. Its a scam just to get you to write a review, The service was Ok but this company is lying to people to get them to write reviews for money and when they do it they refuse to pay. I will NEVER use them again because if they lie about something so small like this ..The warranty they provide I'm sure is a lie to. Next time I write a review I will not lie for another company for money again. Lesson learned read more

Location was great, easy to get too, the price was great for only $35 on a chip and crack about 5 inches long. The gentleman who did the job was courteous, informative & had me back on the road in about 15 mins. Told me what I should & shouldn't do after the repair (like hold off on washing the car/windshield for at least 48 hours) & explained the warranty. Would recommend the service. Not sure why the review below is posted, seems like if you were offered a payment for a review & you accepted, that's an entirely diff issue than a review on the actual service for windshield repair. I went to the Pearland location today, 9/18/2018, to get a chip repaired. The result was a more damaged windshield with a 12 inch crack on the driver's side. I was not informed of this possibility before the work began in fact the techs did not even show me the disclosure until after the damage was done. Customer service did not care. Janet and the techs stated that they only make repairs and do not replace windshields that have been damaged by them nor do they compensate the consumer so that the consumer can have the windshield replaced by another company. I would never recommend this company because they do not take responsibility for their mistakes; they only offer excuses. My recommendation to anyone would be to stay away from Patsco. When you get a chip, call your insurance company yourself and have the repair made by a provider recommended by your insurance company. The insurance company will then guarantee the work and it is still free to you. The only thing that Patsco can do as far as I'm concerned is to shut down and stop scamming the public. read more

I never thought I would fall into the category of driving around with a cracked windshield. But! Now that I am, I was able to drive by a Patsco tent where the location was ideal. It was 5 minutes until they were about to close and with no hesitation I was helped and Clyde still stayed after to help me out. The weather was cold and a bit windy and the job was done regardless. I am concerned with the crack getting bigger because of how much I drive but Clyde reassured with that there is a 1 year guarantee! I am thankful to have had great help with my windshield and leaving me satisfied with the job well done. read more

Only took about 15 minutes and I was on my way, there is only a small spot which I expected because of the type of chip I had on my windshield. Also there is a 1 year warranty so if it does run I can just take it right back and they will fix it for free. Saved me from buying a whole new windshield. read more

This job is great until it starts raining. If you plan on going to work or getting paid for a day/ week of raining, you can forget it. 12hr sounds great, but in the end its tragic. You could do better working at an 8hr job full time. At least you know what you are going to make and dont have to say a prayer on your next check. A typical day working here is holding a sign and waiting on a customer to come. If enough customers do not come, you could be looking to get sent home without pay. I believe it isnt fair and the employment rights are being violated. They make you sign a contract that states that you cant leave and find a different windshield repair job within a year if you decide to leave. Do anyone have the right to cut your hours and have you under contract where they say it is quote on quote "full time" but sends you home. I know alot of people apply for this job and they are still posting job applications online; but do you really want this to happen to you. If you signed up looking for training on how to replace a windshield, dont waist your time. You will only be repairing the little dings on windshields and cracks. The reason why I left is because I felt alone and trapped in un lawful doings of the manager + the whole facility. All I can say is that now it has become a long ugly crack with a few visible holes across the windshield. The guy working in the tent was not experienced; and the supervisor who came and checked on it after receiving our complaint said that it was actually a good job. Unbelievably terrible service. The fact that the repairs are done in tents by the roadside should have given it away. Techs are inexperienced and rude. Sign says 15 mins but the repair took over an hour. Then the technician spread the chip more than halfway across my glass. First off, he never apologized he kind of shrugged it off like it was normal, then he calls the owner who tells me "no charge, however we aren't responsible for further damage". He then gives me a number to a replacement shop. It's obvious they are breaking the windshield on purpose so their replacement shop can charge $500 for a new glass. Don't stop at these tents. Patsco locations are small one-man setups. After a recent visit, it's as if no repair was done at all; two half-inch cracks are still perfectly visible. When I took the car back to Patsco and pointed out the failed repair, they refused to do additional work on it. That's bad customer service. read more
