Woman said if any problems she would give me a call. Day before appointment someone call says I have a appointment but they don't know what it's for. I explained the situation to her about the referral. She said I need to get lab work done that day for my appointment. I said no it's already been done. She gave me a number of their referral person to call to figure out the problem with the referral . I said no I'm the patient you call it's your job. Day of appointment 9:30 am. Walk up to the window lady says they are not receiving patients yet (it's 9:20) have a seat. Four people sitting already waiting. The person sitting next to me gives a look of frustration so I ask what time is his appointment and with which doctor. His appointment 9:00 same doctor I find out the other patients are also for same doctor. I ask the receptionist what's going on? She informed me the Doctor was running behind. She also informed me that he is pretty quick so the wait won't be that long. We informed her of all the issues I've had making this appointment and it isn't a good thing that a doctor is quick. At that point I left the office shaking my head. As I left I said good luck to the patient I talked to earlier. Other patient walked up to the window got his paperwork canceled his appointment a walked out right behind me. Overall to me this office is unprofessional and they really don't care about the patient . This whole experience from making the appointment to appointment day was horrendous. Stay away. There are other places you can go.

I wasted many hours of my working time chasing this issue down and I ended up with maybe half of what I was owed. I filed 26 claims and had further issues with my insurance who continued to not understand why the claims were not filed by the provider. Every other provider I've ever had figures out insurance. Penny's practice is not unique in these circumstances whatsoever. I've had all sorts of providers and insurances for over 20 years and never once had such a miserable experience. With the ortho follow up a full week later, it would be 3 weeks until I could learn if I needed surgery. All the while burning sick leave and vacation at work. So I called scheduling and tried to find an earlier date. The scheduler said they had a spot in Ft Worth today at 2:15. It was now 9:30 am, that office is at least a 2 hour drive, I said heck yeah sign me up! The scheduler said they would send me a text with the address and confirmation. I left just before noon....not wanting to be late and waste their time. BUT, i had not received the text. So I called the number while I was on my way 817-289-2002. Spoke to another very nice person. I let her know I had not received the confirmation text like they said I would, so I wanted to call and confirm the appointment and location....after all it was a 2 hour drive...... The scheduler was perplexed why I did not get the text but... joyously confirmed my appointment was good to go! She also let me know my part to pay was also $222. I said ok and kept driving. I arrived at 2:00 for the 2:15 appointment. Again, not wanting to waste anyone's time. I go into the office and let the clerk know Im there for my 2:15 appointment. I could tell she wasn't finding anything, so I added, its really at 2:30 but I came in early for the paperwork. The clerk said 'sir your appointment isn't for today because we have nobody here who can do it .' You had an appointment for the 27th and then the 21st, but it is not today. They know we don't have anyone here on Fridays to do the GAD.... She then says 'Are you sure you called the right place?' I showed her the number I called, and she looked perplexed....and said well thats our scheduling number.. I call the scheduler while Im standing there at the window. She once again confirms my appointment is for today..... but needs to check on things and puts me on hold. The phone rings right inside the window to the girls I was talking to...... Front Desk Staff keeps to themselves. There is a self check in that's very convenient to use. Rudy, the Occupational Therapy Tech was punctal about taking me back to the therapy room. Also, the Restrooms are clean. I believe, I saw Christian Decor and they have a toilet paper dispenser that dispenses just enough toilet paper to wipe. Sydney my Occupational Therapist was professional, enthusiastic and personable. She seemed to really like her job and care about me. She was patient with all my questions. The other staff members are nice and supportive too. I was able to participate in neat little activities that help support my grip with my hand. The other patients were friendly too. I gained my strength back in my hand. Iam able to make a fist now. Overall, I made progress and the Therapy was a success. My grip strength is stronger than my left hand!

I cannot provide enough superlatives to describe Mr. Kimball's process and end product. He was understanding, efficient, and extremely professional. It took Mr. Kimball less than an hour to create my cast and answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend FWPT and Mr. Kimball for all of your hand needs.

I got a call two business days ahead to tell me what my copay was. Great. Today was the appointment. I take a day off from work. I drive through horrendous traffic to get there because it's near downtown and I live in North Fort Worth. I get there and the girl at the front says that the doctor isn't there and "everyone was called." Well, they didn't call me. Except to tell me how much I'd pay upon arrival because I have an HSA and high-deductible plan. Then she asks if I want to see her partner. No. I do not want to see her partner. I scheduled an appointment WITH THIS SPECIFIC DOCTOR. Not her partner. If I wanted to see her partner, I would have scheduled an appointment WITH said partner. She also tried to pawn me off to the PA. If I had wanted to see someone other than the doctor I made an appointment with, I would have MADE AN APPOINTMENT with that person. I told the girl I took a day off for this appointment and that I was NOT happy that I would have to reschedule which won't happen now until mid-November. THEN she asked if I wanted to go to the place in Hulen. Why the hell would I drive even further on the off change the doctor would decide not to be in that day, too? The front desk was unapologetic in their explanation OR offerings of a reschedule. I am FURIOUS. If I had missed my appointment, I would have been charged a no-show fee. I should bill the doctor's office for making me miss a whole day of work AND driving to/from downtown when I live in North Fort Worth. And as it turns out, the rescheduled "appointment" wasn't even scheduled! The front desk people are ridiculous and clearly unorganized. If you're planning to go as a new patient, don't even bother. The front desk doesn't give a crap about you. And, apparently, neither does the doctor since she wasn't even there.

I could write another couple paraghraphs about their imaging/radiology department (I'm talking about YOU Mark.) Imagine driving 160 miles to discover they have only read your medical orders and history 30 minutes AFTER you've arrived for you appointment only to be told "we're not prepared for your case." A call to Mark in radiology only got an annoyed response that I bothered him at all. Had Mark worked for me he'd be given ONE chance at customer relations retraining, just as a courtesy, and ONLY one.
