Initially had a promising consultation with Dr. Siadati but since then it has all been downhill. First my testing orders were delayed. After repeatedly calling the office I was able to get the orders submitted. Then had my follow up on 11/05 which was rescheduled to 11/14 then rescheduled to 11/19 only for me to find out that (after showing up for the appointment) that it was meant to be 12/19. I took time from work and drove almost 30 miles for the appointment so this is extremely frustrating. UPDATE: Today is 12/19 at 2:14pm and I receive a call from the doctor's office stating that Dr. Siadati will not be able to make it to my appointment and they are calling to reschedule. Needless to say, I told them to cancel my appointment and I will find a different doctor. As hopeful as I was after my first meeting, I feel betrayed as I had all sorts of tests done that I will now have to re-establish with a new doctor. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Per my insurance company, it is on the same tab in Availity - Providers- TriWest; when you submit the referrals (as the provider). Only a referral was made and PT requires both. So now it still needs to be submitted but now they are saying my PCP needs to. This was the same way in east region (now west for Texas) so I don't know why this is like a new thing to them with authorizations. They worked me into rehab in the meantime which is nice; when I called they wouldn't do that without charging me per visit out of pocket. Little did I know then that he was involved in receiving kickbacks, fraudulent claims and my health care decisions were dependent on how much money he could steal from my insurance company. As a result of the trust I put in him, I ended up with permanent nerve damage in the balls of both feet as confirmed by a nerve conduction study. Imagine driving 160 miles to discover they have only read your medical orders and history 30 minutes AFTER you've arrived for you appointment only to be told "we're not prepared for your case." The front staff is courteous and friendly. The office is clean and a lot of seating. The nurses are awesome they ask a lot of questions to be able to help give Dr. Alford some insight of what he's walking into. The Physician Assistant is awesome he also sits and listens to what your telling him about your health and pain, surgeries and medications. The Dr. Alford comes in and we all sat down and tried to come up with the best plan for me. Everytime I have ever gone in he has always been thorough in what going on with my health. Did anything change? Is everything with the stimulators working ok? How is your pain now that it's in? I've never been dissatisfied with my care. That's why whenever there is something I need done he's the first doctor I would go to for my back. I wouldn't trust anyone else. He is who I would refer my family and friends to. So if you want or need an excellent spine surgeon that listens to what you have to say is going on with your body and how your feeling AND then also looks at the radiology reports. As a matter of fact, I still haven't had surgery (Aetna is denying half the needed surgery) and my wife's doctor office is absolutely terrible at communication, so using Dr Kaufman is still very much on the table.
