My attempt to schedule an appointment was a rude experience. Whoever is the representative that answers the phone is absolutely rude. I understand the requirements of particular surgeries which she explained and rudely said, if you have any of that information make sure it gets to us without providing instructions and fax information. Dr. Boll make sure the old lady goes through customer service etiquette. I understand that you don't want to waste your time or a patient- but I was a patient that seriously needed assistance and was turned off at the beginning. I came to Dr Boll looking for a natural breast augmentation. I was a 32A, 6'1" tall and very skinny. I always thought a breast augmentation would look too fake and silly on me but Dr Boll assured me they would look as natural as possible. We discussed what goals I was looking to achieve and she recommended 275cc silicone implants for me. I trusted her judgement and that was the number we ran with. At the surgical center the staff was very nice and caring since I tend to get overwhelmed, anxious and even lightheaded around needles and such. Dr Boll came to check on me, mark me up and restate our plan of action. After I woke up from surgery I was told that Dr Boll put a 275cc implant in my right side (which has always had a bit more volume than my left) and 300cc implant in my left side for more symmetry. I was in some moderate pain and discomfort for about 5 days, took some time off work but at the 1 week mark I really started to feel much better. I am not even 2 weeks post op and feeling great. I stopped taking all pain medication 1 week after surgery and since then I have been feeling better and better each day. I had my 1 week post op appointment where my incision tapes were replaced, I was told I can ditch the ace wrap and start wearing sports bras and Dr Boll came to check up with me. Everything was looking great and healing up nicely. The first week of this procedure was tough but everyday since the bandage came off I have been feeling great and my confidence has only gone up. read more

It really saddens me to have to leave a negative review on a surgeon, after all trusting someone with your life how could you have anything bad to say right? Well in 2018 after researching surgeons I chose Dr. Boll to perform my second breast reduction. Don't get me wrong Dr. Boll was nice, straight forward and gave me a good feeling. So Jan 2019 I started the new year off with a breast reduction that would make me so happy!However post op and fully healed, I'm left feeling regret in my decision. To begin, I am very well aware that surgery is not a magic pill and I know that the body does what it will, however overall my results could have been much better. After providing Dr. with my previous surgical notes, she told me that she would be able to still perform my procedure and get me down to or as close to my desired breast size. Which was not at all the case. After surgery fully healed and a 16 lb weight loss, my breast aren't much different than pre op. I was also advised that i would not receive draining tubes which I was extremely leery about and did make mention to Dr. Boll. She insisted that i would not need them. Post op initially i was happy just because i made it out safe but dr. Boll knew that I was not fully satisfied. Which she explained that because of my initial surgery she wasn't able to take as much out, which had i known that i would've, could've made other arrangements! A week post op my breast were leaking fluid which i was told was normal....knowing that it was not! that didn't set well with me but the staff always made me feel as if i was over reacting. Now two weeks and several calls later to the office and being told it was normal and it was just air! my breast were engorged with fluid! You can hear the fluid, sounding similar to a water balloon or shaking a water bottle with every move i made, not to mention i was leaking fluid everywhere! Soaking through bandages and shirts! Office finally took me serious and scheduled me to go to banner health to get aspirated almost 3 weeks after surgery!!! I get to banner where they aspirate my left breast but refused to do the other because Dr. Bolls staff only put one on the order!! I then had to BEG the girls to aspirate the other because aside from the discomfort i was TERRIFIED while i had to wait another week and a half for an appointment with banner. The girls aspirate my other breast since it was a Another week before banner was able to place tubes! They collected enough fluid to fill a measuring cup! Yea after telling me it was just air and normal, tried to be nice about it after they aspirated enough fluid to boil pasta. Meantime due to my breast being engorged, my skin was extremely sensitive and thin, i was bursting at the seams. Gaping holes in my breast where the incisions were opening so now I'm left with the ugliest scars like i was a burn victim. the only scar treatment i was offered of course came at a cost! Smh To make matters worse i had to pay Banner health $150 for the visit with them.... my outpatient deductible for the surgery itself wasn't even $150 so now I'm paying MORE Out of pocket for some Thing that's not my fault. I paid the money because i wanted to be done with it. Dr. Bolls office never offered to reimburse me at all. Fast forward to 2020, i get a credit alert that I've been sent to collections for $150! Because apparently and unbeknownst to me BAnner expected me to pay both times that i was seen even tho the only reason i had to have a second appointment was because the girls at Dr. bolls office only put one breast on the order!! I had accepted my results and put the experience behind me but this just reactivated my emotions and since i know there isn't anything else i could do, leaving this review was just a way for me to release. read more

This was a complete, and it seems calculated, waste of my time, and money. I called Boll's office telling them that I had sustained minor burn damage to my face several years ago which had caused my mouth to shrink somewhat, and that I was asking for a consult to have a minor Z-plasty procedure done to open my mouth up at the corners. My credit card was charged $100 for the consult, and three weeks went by before that appointment. My wife and I drove 40 minutes across the valley from Carefree to Tempe. The receiving nurse was curt, and completely impersonal. Boll wasn't much better, mumbling her name as she entered the room, not even bothering to basic courtesies before saying, "So, what are we talking about today?" I described that my face had been burned, that my mouth, although not disfigured, had shrunk somewhat, and that I was looking for a zplasty to open it up a total of approximately 3/8 of an inch. From the expression on her face it was plainly evident to my wife and me that this was a procedure unfamiliar to her. She didn't even look at my mouth closely before saying that she couldn't do anything to help me, that I needed to massage my mouth, or perhaps speak with a burn specialist. I asked her if she knew of someone I should call, and she knew of no one. I quizzed her for several minutes to try to ascertain just why she couldn't do this procedure for me, and she gave a perfunctory, and not very useful explanation. The total appointment lasted eight minutes. We got up and left with the doctor making contact with the receptionist, the moment at which she should have initiated a refund of my consult fee, and for which I also should've asked for a refund, but felt so completely disregarded that I just wanted to leave. In short, this was a set-up to collect a consult fee in spite of the fact that her office had complete awareness of my request, and that this procedure is one that she isn't competent to perform. I felt like I'd been as thoroughly inconvenienced, disregarded, and summarily rejected as I could've been, and charged for it to boot!!! What a classless act. What a ripoff!!! read more

I recently had a full tummy tuck with lipo. I chose to schedule a consult with Dr.Boll originally due to her extensive education and certifications. I had many prior consults with surgeons that didn't quite make me feel the way that she did. She explained everything in detail and answered every single question I had. She made me feel like I had all of her time and I never felt rushed. Fast forward to the day of my surgery... I showed up at the surgery center which took great care of me as well and also answered every question and concern I had in detail. I had my upper eyelids lifted (blepharoplasty) last June. I am forty, my eyelids were heavy and people often asked me if I was sad or tired. I was sick of it. I had the procedure done in the office. The price was reasonable. The pain was minimal. The worst part was seeing myself right after as my eyes swelled quickly. My eyes were bruised for a week. Don't go to this plastic surgeon. She messed up my aunts breasts big time. She is a breast cancer survivor and wanted her breasts reconstructed. She put smooth round mid plus profile saline in one breast & smooth round high profile gel in the other. The procedure left her breasts very uneven.
