Very good new restaurant. From the moment we walked up we were greeted very friendly and sat promptly. Our server Martin was on top of our needs and kept checking on us throughout our meal. Great service! The food was on point for sure. We ordered a burger a pizza and some chili as well as the artichoke dip. Everything and I mean everything was great tasting. The menu was large enough to satisfy any want or need. The manager Louise stopped by to check on our experiance as well and as stated above we were very satisfied. We came for dessert and ended up trying a cheeseburger, pizza, fried pickles, nachos ..cocktails and still shared a sundae...(hey, we were hungry it's western days weekend in VC)! I had the Albuquerque cheeseburger (Pasilla Chiles, caramelized onions, queso fresco, brioche bun). We agreed the cheeseburgers were our favorite, neighboring guest agreed too! Nachos were big, great for sharing. Deep Dish Pizza- not your classic dough,cheesy deep dish... but we still liked the lighter fluffy dough, nice sharing size, felt more like a deep dish flatbread if that makes any sense. We enjoyed the Memphis topped with brisket,cilantro, pickled onions, bbq sauce, cheeses :) We sat at the bar, bartenders and servers were friendly and funny! Nice addition to casino, Casinos in the area have been needing a more modern place with good food selection, beers on draft,cocktails/wine selection and shareable appetizers! Had dinner here for a member recognition New Year affair. It was spectacular. A pre fixe menu had a steak, lobster and veggies. Salad was a very creative choice and delicious. The tiramisu desert was unique and delicious. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. They served a nice quality wine with the meal too. We met the chef but I forgot his name. There were spaces open at the bar but we still "needed" to put our name in and wait 30 minutes. I received the wrong burger after making just 1 modification. Ordered the Boston burger and wanted to add avocado and ended up receiving the San Diego burger instead which is way different. Not a bad burger but definitely not what I ordered. Service was very slow with 1 bartender serving 15 people at the bar. Adding avocado was an additional $4. Overall can't recommend this spot. read more

I hate being the first person to write a bad review but I was disappointed in my overall experience. Don't get me wrong, the food and the atmosphere were great! I ordered the Santa Fe burger and my fiancé got the Philly cheesesteak and both were delicious. However, the service was something else. I'll just cut to the chase. We ordered dessert 15 minutes before they closed. We would've ordered it earlier had they checked up on us but they didn't. 20 minutes later, a lady, not the waitress, comes to our table and tells us that the kitchen is closed and they can give us a scoop of ice cream instead of the apple crisp if we'd like. WTF? Why didn't you tell us that earlier instead of wasting our time? We were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours, not because we wanted to refrain from gambling, but because service was so slow and they weren't even that busy. And to make things worse, we had a food voucher and part of it went to waste because we couldn't order our dessert. I'm sure I'll give them another chance because I want to try the dessert everyone is raving about. But I don't recommend coming here less than 2 hours before they close unless you want crappy service. read more

My aunt, mom, cousin and I made this our dinner stop on our first night of a quick girls' trip out to the desert. With the grand opening (or re-opening) of Valley View Casino we opted to stop here to eat the night before the ceremony and everything getting crowded. We were seated promptly, and our drink orders taken quickly. Initially our waitress was super friendly and attentive which was great. She recommended a couple of her favorite things on the menu since we were all struggling to decide. Everything sounded so good! A really great selection of menu items is available and we were especially impressed with some of the burger creations. We started with the fried pickles and onion ring tower. The onion rings were delicious!! Ranch dressing was a great compliment to them. My cousin loved the pickles (not my thing, but I can't fault her). My auntie ordered the ribeye medium which had a great buttery, rich sauce on top. I ordered the San Francisco burger which tasted amazing and definitely felt like a great choice at the time. Fries were well seasoned and the perfect size to have a crunch on the outside and soft innards. My mom ordered the cheesesteak sandwich which was actually kind of a cross between a French dip with au jus and a traditional cheesesteak. Also very good. Overall we were impressed with the flavor and cook of the food. I will say that I did get VERY sick about 6 hours after we ate, so I was suspicious of food poisoning but unsure of the exact source. My mom and I shared a dinner salad as well, and she didn't feel good around the same time that I got sick, but didn't get as ill as I did. Our main complaint and why I would hesitate going back (aside from the sickness later that night) was the fact that we were basically harassed by waiters, waitresses and managers. Literally as we were all taking bites of food multiple people tried to clear our plates. Like not even kidding...food on a fork headed to my mouth and a waitress asking if I was all set and she could clear my plate. And the plate was full of food. We had maybe only been eating our mains for about 5 minutes. Then the dinner became very stressful and we felt we were being rushed out. There was no wait, many open tables, and we had only been at our table a total of about an hour. So we ended up leaving disappointed after and really tasty meal because of the way the wait staff and managers were so aggressive. read more

Well, I didn't think you could find good food at a casino restaurant but, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. It was an all day adventure with the in-laws to visit Indian casinos and with all the gambling we really worked up an appetite. We stumbled upon this place and ordered our meals. They came out hot, fresh and delicious and staff were great and attentive to our needs. The only downfall was the air conditioning which was blowing down upon us super hard and made our food cold fast. I was shivering and so was my entire party and everyone around us were cold too but, no one ever addressed the fact we were freezing. I will go back one day but will make sure to sit where the a/c is not blowing directly on me or ask them to raise the thermostat to a more comfortable and pleasant temperature. read more

Really enjoyed the food tonight. Our server, Sierra, gave us fantastic recommendations. We always appreciate when the staff gives us recommendations of their personal favorites and any twists on the preparation as they like it. We tried a few items and will definitely be back to enjoy her suggestions as well as some of the other items on the menu. Tonight we had the chicken wings which were juicy and crispy, the ahi tuna salad was an excellent dish to share (the wasabi dressing is really good) and the pizza was thin and crisp.Oh and the chocolate cake was impressive too! I live near the Valley View Casino and there isn't anything like Patties and Pints for 20 miles. Given the fact that it's in the casino, there's no way to escape sights and sounds of a hustling bustling casino environment. As for the location itself, the dining area has the feel of a Applebee's. So let's get down to the most important part, the food. Very happy to report the the value for money is excellent here. Blackened Ahi Tuna salad is something like $16 and the portions generous. Came up here with a few friends to have dinner and was blown away by the look and taste of each dish. We pretty much ordered family style and got the New York deep dish pizza, fried pickles, and deviled eggs to start. One word to describe our first taste? AMAZING After the appetizers, we decided to get our own plates (because we didn't want to share anymore) and I got the Las Vegas burger. One word to describe the burger? HUGE It was so big that when I tried cutting it in half, I swore my knife disappeared into the burger. Also, the taste was fantastic! Now, I bet you're wondering about desserts huh? For that, we went back to family style (because we wanted to try everything) and sampled the chocolate crinkle cookie sandwich, the late nighter, deep fried banana split, old fashion chocolate cake, and two strawberry shakes. I've been here quite a few times. The last time was on Monday 10/10. I informed the hostess that we were celebrating my friend's birthday. This message was apparently not relayed to or ignored by the server. The server seemed to be more like a Busser filling in for a server as the communication and timing were awkward. My friend sampled a beer, but wanted to order a different beer. First, he apparently needed to ask the manager if he is permitted to provide a beer sample. Then, after confirmed he that he could offer the sample, it took the server at least 15 minutes to follow up regarding the sample and my friend's beer order. The food arrives and the fries are dried out and cold-we sent them back. My friend had ordered the beer prior to us ordering the food. The approximate wait time for this beer was 20 minutes-which, at that point, we were beyond halfway done with our meals. The manager hovered over a certain table, talking with them for at least 20-30 minutes-while ignoring the rest of the tables. We could not flag anyone down, and our server was often seen starring at the TV screens to observe a football game. We declined dessert as this dining experience was abysmal. I guess our experience didn't matter to our "server", as the check had automatic gratuity added (for a party of two). In fact, the time elapsed between the "server" dropping the check and processing the payment was the shortest wait during our whole experience. Auto gratuity for this level of service is unconscionable. read more

It's good food but at times it can be a long wait. As for the service, it depends on the person serving you... I always order the fish and chips because it's so delicious! If you are using your free food vouchers be sure and give it to your waitress when you arrive. FYI: You have to read your total bill before paying because they do add in their own tip. We are fairly new to Valley Center and unfortunately there are not a whole lot of places to go out an eat. It was suggested by a neighbor that go try out the casino. heard the food was pretty good. So we did. the food is yummy, or this would be a 1 star. We have eaten here about a 1/2 dozen times and in the past few months and ALWAYS sit at the bar. Usually its because you can get a seat quicker and the service is usually faster. In these visits that has NEVER been the case. I didn't think you could be ignored so much by a server when they are standing right in front of you, but these bartenders go out of their way to do just that. The Service is beyond slow, they do not clear plates where you are finished...they barely ask you for a refill on your drink, you have to flag them down for anything you need and then expect at least a minimum of 15 mins before you get what you requested. And I have learned why you get the WORST service its because they automatically add a 20% gratuity to your bill, (which they do not verbalize), so there really is NO NEED for them to try at all. I have been in the food industry for over 25 years and have never seen staff care so less to provide a positive experience for the dinner. I mean if you are guaranteed the tip....it doesn't matter how good or bad you are at your job. Save yourself the time, money and effort, just grab a quick bite from the food court style place and be about your day at the casino, DON'T bother with the less than friendly bartenders at patty's and pints read more

Best burger joint around. The service is excellent and the food is too. Pricing is reasonable in this day and age and multiple visits have left little to be desired. My only complaint is the place is so busy that waits and service can be slow. Given how idiot politicians have repeatedly ruined our economy this is to be expected. Located inside the valley view casino. So, not much atmosphere or fancy furnishings. But the food is very good as is the service. Really enjoyed the French onion soup,, and the salmon and rotisserie prime rib were tasty. Prime rib dinner is about $25 so while not super cheap, not a bad price got both the quality and the quantity. I wouldn't drive to Valley Center just to eat there, but if your in the neighborhood, certainly one of the better restaurants you could choose. read more

Wow was it a lonnnngggg wait!!! Almost two hours for two burgers and an appetizer that never made it to our table. The food was good, but the burgers were not consistent with how they were cooked. One was well done and one was medium well on the inside and nearly raw on the edges. The waiter asked if both were okay medium well just for reference. The beer was good but I did see it sitting on the bar waiting for someone to pick it up and bring it to our table for nearly 20 minutes. The coleslaw was not good, very bland. Our waiter Eduardo tried to make not receiving our appetizer right by sending us home with some complimentary cake so I definitely give him extra points for trying. Everyone on the staff seems overwhelmed and stated they are understaffed yet the place is reasonably small and I counted 10-15 waiters so I believe this may be a training issue more than a staffing issue. If we go back it will most likely be just for beer at the bar. For a casino it can't be good to have their gambling customers inside of restaurants for hours instead of on the floor spending money. read more

The reason I am giving a 2 star review is because the food is good otherwise it would be 1 or zero if that was an option. When I spend money on eating out it is because I want to be served so service is just as important as the food. We went to Patties and Pints on 7/17/20. We are new to VVC and excited to try it. We were a party of 4 and placed our order. Normal amount of time to get our order out. The waiter placed the tray on a stand....don't know if this was his first day but I looked over and he picked up 2 plates on the same side so guess what happened??? 2 plates went tumbling to the floor. Instead of profusely apologizing we got a shrug and sorry. Another server (I think) came up and said sorry again but that's it....I said how about a round of drinks for our inconvenience? Sorry we can only give you soda (bull crap). We all already had sodas so we declined. I figured the manager would come by or perhaps a discount on our bill or the 2 dumped entries comped......SOMETHING!!!! Zip, zero, zilch!!!! Our two friends ate their plates while me and my husband watched them and they then watched us eat. SERVICE IN THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! Zero customer service. I will go back to VVC again but will NEVER EVER eat here again. Shame on you!!!!! read more

While the food was good, the service was very disappointing. My husband and I arrived early and sat at the bar. We had a soda and a beer from the casino, but there was only a mouthful of beer or two left in the glass. We ordered our food immediately, but none of the bartenders ever came back to ask if we wanted another beer. The glass sat empty for a long time. I even turned it upside down hoping to get someone's attention. Finally, we hailed one of the bartenders down and mentioned how we had been waiting to order a beer for awhile and had not been helped. DAVID, the bartender, did not apologize and instead told us that there were "a lot of other people at the bar and we will get to you when we get to you". Note that while he said this, he was not helping anyone else. He was getting his own drink out of a cup he had behind the bar. 1.) You don't say that to a customer. 2.) We had been sitting at the bar needing service way before most of the people at the bar who were being helped before us. Since I work in a service industry, that was very irritating to be spoken to like that. I told him forget bringing me a beer and he basically acted like "whatever". In the meantime, my husband spoke to manager Chris who was apologetic. However, the whole experience dampened our fun afternoon at Valley View and we are not eager to repeat our visit though we are local. read more

This restaurant is incredible! Our group ordered tons of appetizers, entrees, and desserts so we got to sample a lot and everything I tasted was delicious. The blackened tuna salad was above and beyond my favorite, but everything else was a close 2nd, including the Manhattan pizza, the deep fried pickles, and the late nighter dessert to name a few. Our group had such a great time that we ended up going back the following night. The food aside, the atmosphere was so chic and fun. Even sitting at the bar with a cocktail would make for a great evening. I will definitely be going back to enjoy it again. read more
