The patty melt is 10/10. First time here and I will definitely be back. The sautéd onions are diced so no stringy onions! The jalapeños are fresh not pickled which was another bonus. They don't make their own fry sauce fyi. Customer service was great! The music is a tad loud making it slightly difficult to have an easy conversation. Other patrons were also trying to talk over the music. My favorite part about this place is you pay a base price for your sandwich choice and then you can load it however you want and the toppings are included. Makes a plain grilled cheese pricey but a "loaded" cheeseburger is not up charged so that's awesome! As far as the decor? I was so impressed by my burger I didn't notice. A good old fresh cooked greasy cheese burger with a lot of flavor. This is keto heaven. I had the patty daddy triple meat as a lettuce wrap, but it could have been in a bowl. It is plenty to eat with the pastrami and the bacon and 3 burger patties. Added lettuce, tomato, onions, grilled mushrooms and pickles and it was more than enough. The service was fast and the staff polite. The restaurant was clean, tables wiped down. It was off hours in between lunch and supper but hopefully they keep it clean during those hours as well. read more

First time coming here after passing it many times with my wife. Walked in and the counter girl was nice. Being it was our first time we had some questions and she gracefully answered them. I got a bacon cheeseburger. My wife got the pastrami burger and we both enjoyed it. I liked that I was able to add grilled onions and fresh jalapeños for no up charge . Tasted like the food was cooked fresh being it came out hot and didn't have a long wait. The burger bun was one of those soft buns kinda like a Hawaiian role. Burger was flavorful but not greasy. I liked how it was served in foil wrap where we could food down the sides and eat without getting anything on our hands. As for the ambience, the first table we sat at was super wobbly so we switched tables. Second table the napkin holder was really dusty which was kinda gross for us as we noticed it when we needed one while we were eating and it felt like it was going to get our food and hands dirty. We did look over at other napkin holders and the others didn't look dusty. Though the overall restaurant felt and looked pretty clean. Meals where convo comes with fries but drinks are ordered separately. They have fountain options and glass drink options. The decor is extremely lacking here, it's just white walls. The bathroom walls, light switch, and door are really dirty. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming. When you order you decide on your burger and add all the topping that you want. The jalapeños are not pickled they are fresh jalapeño so keep that in mind. The burger itself was only ok, the patty is very thin and by the time you put a few toppings on you don't taste much of the burger. I did really enjoy the fries, not too soft and had a little crunch to them but they were just a bit too salty. The fry sauce is great! The serving size of the fries is a decent portion so between the two it's a filling meal. read more

Good classic, greasy spoon-style burger in a clean but definitely boring space. It's also small-ish, so the big garbage cans throughout the room are a bit distracting. And why no air conditioning?? It was very warm in there. As for the food, burger was tasty, simple but made your way, with lots of fresh topping options. It's on the greasy side but juicy.. My two complaints, the pastrami barely showed up, it needed more. A bigger issue, the bun was mush upon opening its wrapper and squished into a soggy nothing, hard to keep it from falling apart. They need to switch it out for one more durable. Fries were nice and crispy, great in fry sauce or their house-made ranch. It's a fast casual place, order at the counter. A double pastrami cheeseburger and fries with a brownie ($4 and yummy) and just a water came to $20, which some may find a bit pricey for what it is. Again, it's so bland inside. If you like a well done, char burger, grilled to crispy asphalt you should come here. I ordered a double hamburger mayonnaise onions and tomato with fries and a coke, roughly $17. The two burgers were thin so well done they were crunchy and there was zero taste to it. The fries were crispy and good and overwhelming. They took up half the tray. They were the only thing that was somewhat good. it was somewhat loud so when they called a number out, you were expected to listen and go to the counter for your food. Great burgers! I really liked that I can pick all my own toppings. They don't have kids size meals so we got a regular burger with fries and split it for our two young kids. The staff was very friendly (even with us showing up 30 minutes before closing) and offered free brownie bites to my kids. read more

Our burgers, the bacon cheeseburger and pastrami cheeseburger came out Luke warm. The bun felt like the cheapest bun in existence. The flavor was pretty good but the cool temperature and bad bun took away from the experience. Smallest fries I have ever received, but they were the absolute best of our meal. The staff was friendly, but all the toppings were cold including the supposedly grilled mushrooms and onions. Seemed like all the toppings were prepared well in advance. It reminded me of a concession stand at a football game. Drinks were pricey and had limited choice. We visited Patty Shack for the first time for a change, because we were impressed with their rating. I do not know how they got this rating, When putting in the order, you tell them each thing you want on your burger, we went and sat down to wait, no atmosphere and the music was too loud. The place has that new modern sterile cold feel. Metal table and chairs. There were two young guys there, that acted like they were overwhelmed. It was not busy, Our order finally came out which was a couple of cheeseburgers and fries, and there was nothing on my burger, but cheese. The appearance of the burgers was a mashed burger. I had ordered mushrooms, onions, lettuce, and barbecue sauce. My husband went to see what they could do. They said they would have to do a whole new burger and it would take time so they could bring out just the condiments. So, that's what they did they brought what was suppose to be on the burger. The burgers are nothing special, or different. The only thing that was good was they give you a lot of fries, really too many, and they are good, nothing special but good. This is fast food, but excellent burgers. Very simple menu, but can add as many toppings as you want for free (including grilled onions & grilled mushrooms, yum)! The only thing that would've made it better is gourmet buns, or at least if they'd warm/grill the bun. I wished the bun hadn't been cold. Fries are excellent. read more
