She doesn't just specialize in cardiac but also oncology which is a plus for me as I fall into both categories. The quality of care provided by Dr. Campbell is top notch. Now the thing that irritates me is the check in, showing my ID in order to get to my doctors office, especially when I'm running late but I'm sure there's a purpose for it, I just don't know it.

We moved to Texas and needed a new cardiologist. We were recommended to see Dr. Schussler. But…read morebefore we could see him he wanted all our records to decide if he would take us on. He decided to take us both. We were pretty excited thinking that we were going to have another great cardiologist. Upon seeing him he made us feel that our last cardiologist didn't know what he was doing, even though our last doctor saved my husband from his heart attack. Everything that we were doing with our last doctor according to him wasn't necessary. This really baffled us. Then to top it off he didn't feel he needed to see us but in 6 months for our follow up and than after that yearly which concerned us since my husband had 2 heart attacks. He also told us that the tests we were having with our other doctor wasn't necessary. He than told us that if we where having any heart problems to go to the hospital instead of seeing him. We left feeling pretty stupid and wondering what we had been doing with our last doctor. He really didn't make us feel that our heart health was a concern to him. The final insult for me, was my heart medication went up to over $600 with insurance . I texted him to ask him to change my medication to something comparable and cheaper. I explained that I was also almost out of my medication. He didn't respond to my first email and took a few days after my second email to respond. He never answered my question to change it, only to say why was I given this medication In the first place. And that he would suggest i ask if I can be put on the cheaper version. That was exactly what I was asking of him, since he is our cardiologist now. So instead of changing my medication as I requested he referred me back to my initial doctor whom he was supposed to of replaced. We feel that he is not a good doctor and doesn't really listen to or is concerned about his pat's. I would not recommend him as a doctor to anyone with heart issues.

Twice they said they would call me back by the end of the day and did not requiring me to call again and go through the process of holding again for a person. When I finally got an appointment.... two weeks later they cancelled it VIA text message with NO EXPLANATION and directed me to call the office to reschedule. NO CHANCE! I asked my internist to refer me to a different cardiologist which he did. I got an appointment with the new one with one phone call and never put on hold. Heartplace Baylor is horrible....and I have no tolerance for physicians that hide behind poor customer service office staff.

Using e-checkin on MyChart, patient portal, made for a smooth checkin at the front desk. Appointment was exactly on time when called back by doctors' medical assistant, Ambria. She was friendly, nice smile, and very professional. Tracy, was responsible for the detailed ultrasounds for today's visit which were done within office. Made it nice and convenient. Tracy was thorough and answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable and seemed to really loved her job. Dr Hohmann was a pleasure to meet. Asked a lot of questions concerning my past treatment plan with another physician office. Dr offered a new approach to help with legs and feet swelling. Also set up follow-up visit next month for in office procedure. Ambria came back to ensure there were no more questions and walked me to checkout desk. Appointment was 2 1/2 hours long. Public parking next to building was convenient. However, credit card Only - no attendant - ticket receipt did not print for insurance. No one to contact. :-(
