So, we were anxious to see if one of our favourite restaurants was still a winner. I am happy to say that Nantuckets is indeed still a winner. The food is still wonderful, the service is still first rate, and the atmosphere is still welcoming. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay with a $10 discount, a Wednesday Special. Also, it was happy hour in the bar and several items were discounted 20%. We chose to have some chowder, some baked brie, some grilled salmon atop romaine lettuce, and sesame seared tuna. Every item was delicious and every item was discontinued 20%. We do not find very many restaurants with discounts in "season." So thank you for your kindness Nantuckets and thank you for staying a winner!

We arrived with our friends around 4:10 PM on Wednesday when the bar was already full with customers, therefore we were seated at one of their high tops to the left across from the bar for six, since we were here with family and friends. I started with my usual two Man in Black cocktails for $12 each after the $3 off happy hour discount. I also enjoyed my usual happy hour Boullibase with a double order of asparagus for $29. My total bill was $105 excluding gratuity. Diana served us very well. We agreed we will return here for off season happy hour.

I ordered the seafood risotto and noticed it had no lobster in it as listed on the menu. Brought this to the attention of our server who spoke to the chef and said the lobster was "incorporated into the sauce". Although tasty, was disappointed to have no discernible lobster in an almost $50 dish.

But OMG, the second I stepped off the elevator onto the rooftop, I was completely blown away. The decor was incredibly well done and the whole space was screaming Miami. We enjoyed several cocktails, and the bartender was so friendly and attentive. Despite having a full bar and a party of four that included three kids, he took such great care of us. And speaking of the kids... two of them had full-blown tantrums, and not a single person made us feel judged. In fact, our server brought over crayons and a coloring book and was SO sweet and accommodating. As a parent, that kind of hospitality goes a long way. We ended up taking most of the food home with us, but I did try the mussels. They weren't the best mussels I've ever had, although they had been sitting for a little while since we were busy tending to the kids, so I definitely wouldn't judge the dish based on my experience. And the views?! Absolutely stunning. From the rooftop, you can see both the bay and the ocean side, and it was beautiful in every direction. Between the atmosphere, the views, the drinks, and how incredibly welcoming they were to our chaotic little crew, I would come back here over and over again. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to get Parking albeit at $13 on the street a couple blocks away. When we go to a new Chinese restaurant, we usually order things that we have had elsewhere that we can compare it to. This allows us to decide if we will ever come back and obviously choose other things on the menu. Tonight we chose very mundane dishes. We ordered the thick dumplings that were OK. Stuffed well but for four of them, the price of $13 might be excessive. The two dishes that we ordered for dinner were General Tso's chicken and mooshu pork. Pretty simple dishes that any Chinese restaurant can make. And it should be relatively consistent to other places that you've been to. Not here. General Tsos as you know can be a little spicy, but this was way over the top. It was like the cook forgot to stop the teaspoons of spice when they started cooking it. The cook also forgot to take it out of the fryer as these were very crunchy pieces of food. Lastly, there was very little chicken inside. The moo shu pork was kind of different. The pork pieces were fried. Never had that before. The vegetables were moderate at best. They have been added to our do not return list, unfortunately.
