I called their office and spoke with their receptionist. She was very knowledgeable and we felt comfortable coming in for a free consultation. Luckily, my sister booked an appointment for the following week. When we arrived at their office, we had a bit of a wait. It was longer than expected but in the end, it was totally worth it. We were greeted by Paul and he began to discuss the purpose of the Trust. He explained the step by step process that she would go through. My sister had many questions and Paul was very patient. He answered each question, which definitely put my sister's mind at ease. Everything was displayed on a large screen as he walked her through the process. He also asked pertinent questions to ensure that everything would be done to protect her children's best interests/inheritance etc. Once we finished the consultation, my sister proceeded with the process to begin drafting her Trust. We came back a couple of weeks later. However, prior to our second appointment, their legal assistants called to make sure that they had the correct names and order in which things should fall under when the time comes. My sister ended up making some changes to her Trust during that second appointment. Once everything was done, they sent in the notary to complete the process. We left with a binder, flash drive, and small business card that listed my sister's Trust on it. We also left with peace of mind. This was a long time coming, and it needed to be done. It also helps that their price for the process to write the Trust is comparable to other law offices. In the end, we were glad to have finally completed the process. The convenience of the location and their ability to accommodate us within a short time period made life easier for my sister. Other law offices had appointments 3 to 4 weeks out! We are grateful to have been able to get this all done in a timely manner. We also thank Paul for exercising extreme patience with us, because my sister had a lot of questions. It was a really long time two different sessions it would not have taken so long if I would have given him all the information before he was researching deeds and titles so many different properties in front of me have they given him the info in advance, like I said, and requested that all that be done as much as possible before the hospital visit it would've been much quicker in person because of having a loved one in the hospital. I missed seeing his email that was requesting all that information prior to his arrival so do your work before his appointment if your time is valuable if not, then know you'll have many hours of company while this man works so hard to do a great job.
