My surgery went perfectly, and I can honestly say she has saved my quality of life. I feel so much happier, and I sincerely hope she receives back every bit of goodness she puts into the world. I was very scared of having a hysterectomy, even though I knew it was necessary, but she made the entire process smooth and reassuring. Even the hospital, Meridian Park, was wonderful--the staff was kind, attentive, and it was by far the best hospital experience I've ever had (they even numbed my hand before placing an IV!). I feel truly grateful for the way I've been treated since moving to Oregon and finding care here. I will not go anywhere else for my women's healthcare. Highly recommend!

I say this because Dr Zaander is hands down the best OB/GYN I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by (you heard me right, ladies... I said pleasure). This is because while the majority of us normally dread this type of annual visit, Dr Z makes it more than simply bearable... instead it feels like coming home each time to talk to a really good friend. Someone who you know beyond a shadow of a doubt will always have your back and your best interests at heart. So then what could possibly have made it so "bittersweet", you might ask?... Well, my health insurance just changed and unfortunately she is no longer covered by my new policy. So even though I've finally found the one doctor I feel the most comfortable with, it appears that I might have to switch to someone completely new, all over insurance and cost. If so, that would make this my last visit... and there in lies the bittersweet-ness. Now don't get me wrong... Dr Zaander and her team are amazing enough that if I can find a way to afford to continue to go there in spite of my lack of insurance coverage, I most certainly will. They truly are THAT GOOD. :) So whether this was in fact my final visit, or I continue to be seen here for many years to come, I want to personally send a BIG thank you to Dr Zaander and the entire staff at Lake Oswego GYN for taking such excellent care of me for all these years. It means more than you could possibly know, and I will continue to hold you in the highest regard and recommend you and your services to anyone in need. Bottom Line: A++ , 5 stars!!

Dr. Heather is a very skilled physician and I also know she CARES... Rebecca is extremely good at lab work; she is able to draw my blood on the very first try, which is just short of a miracle. (The last time I was at the hospital an ultrasound specialist had to be called in special to use it to find my very tiny veins, and Rebecca can do it on the first try!) I trust Baskin Clinic with my life and look forward to a lifetime of excellent care from a highly qualified clinic. Thank you Dr. Heather and all of Baskin Clinic. The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? Ugh.

Best place ever-except for the lab staff. I have been a…read morepatient of The Portland Clinic for well over 18 years. Love the doctors and the convenience of the locations. But this morning-I go to the lab in Tigard for some blood work for a doctor appt at the Beaverton location later in the week. I go at lunch and get checked right in. Then a few min later, I am called up and told the lab tech is taking a break after the next person so I have to come back in 40 min or come back another time. UH, should they not take care of the patients that are waiting, THEN take a break. I left thinking I would come back after work or just go to the Beaverton lab after my appointment. After doing some grocery shopping nearby. I decide to go back and see if I would be the first person the tech sees at 12:45. If not, then I would go back to work. I go in and am told I would be the first person she would see when she returns from break. So I sit and sit and sit. 15 min go by and no sign of this tech. The receptionist tells me she is checking out my chart and will be calling me in momentarily. Then I sit and watch as FIVE other people are called in--all ahead of me. The receptionist tells me I am the next one. yeah right. The tech comes out and calls yet another person that is not me. I was fed up and start leaving as the tech looks at me and asks my name and says I am the next one in line-which I am thinking is not true. There were still 4 more people sitting around and they probably were not for urgent care. By now it was the principal of the thing--they lied to me and wasted so much of my time. They wasted my entire lunch hour plus another 20 min. Be honest and just say--there are a good 10 people ahead of you when they return from break. I will never go to the Tigard lab ever again. I will only go to the Beaverton one.

Review of Dr. Young Choi, MD. From the moment I walked into…read moremy first appointment, I felt like my concerns had already been dismissed. I was referred by my primary care provider to rule out potential causes of my symptoms, yet I never felt that my experiences or concerns were genuinely heard. I wasn't asking for invasive procedures or unnecessary testing--I was simply hoping for a thoughtful evaluation to establish a starting point. Instead, I was told that what I was experiencing wasn't possible. After repeatedly advocating for myself, additional blood work and an ultrasound were finally ordered. Those tests ultimately revealed a diagnosis, yet the only follow-up I received was a brief message stating, "You have ***," with no explanation, discussion, or plan for moving forward. As a patient, I expected communication, education, and compassion. The most disappointing part of this experience was feeling like a chart was treated before a person. Listening to patients is one of the most important parts of medicine, and I never felt heard. This was the worst bedside manner I have experienced, and unfortunately, I will not be returning for future care.

I have a background of 30 yrs fibromyalgia, 6 years disabling long covid and 1 year totally disabling chronic fatigue. When I started the program, I couldn't stand for 10 min and was in my recliner or bed most of the day. Then came Maggie Yu and her Transform team! Through carefully following their instructions and being diagnosed by Maggie Yu through some of her testing and then treated for hypothyroidism I am now able to do things that I haven't been able to do since I got covid in 2020. Not to mention the ultrasound she encouraged me to get that showed I do indeed have a nodule on my thyroid so now I can be proactive with that. My transformation includes seriously increased hydration and improved eating and targeted supplementation to improve my digestion. I can't wait for the next 3 months because we are just beginning to address my adrenal fatigue. I expect not just my fatigue to continue to leave but for more energy to return. In the beginning I was too exhausted to use the MELT program which is helping me so much with my pain and stiffness. Yes the program is costly but that's just because insurance doesn't cover functional medicine and it is priceless to be getting my life back and to be getting education for myself and my family for years to come. Thank you Maggie Yu and team!
