I mention these things in my reviews for the sake of protecting immunocompromised people like the elderly and people sick with cancer and other illnesses. While I was here in this establishment, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is behind the building and it is very small. The lot does get full quickly, so you may have to find some street parking, but that shouldn't be an issue. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, small, and organized. They recently moved to a new location, and I love everything except the parking lot because it's so small. A nice upgrade in office space. Yay! And dare I say it was a very pleasant visit to Dr. Jen's office for the most part... compared to other doctor visits I've been to, going to Dr. Jen definitely won't be daunting compared to others I've been to. My first impression of the place was already a good start, with a very friendly staff and I appreciate that this place seems to keep things in order where I seemed to be the only patient in the office at the time (which is great for the pandemic situation). Dr. Jen was very thorough in my check-up and I specifically came here to also get a pap smear all at once. Very professional throughout, including his female staff member. The pap smear wasn't all that bad (granted my body wasn't cooperating for part of it but that's not his fault) and he made sure I was comfortable the whole time too. Logistics-wise, it was about 3 months out from when I made my appointment call, but I was ok with it since I didn't have an urgent reason. Office itself is in a good location. It's on the 3rd floor and you can find the entrance to the elevators next to the pharmacy. Bonus for the lab being downstairs if you need to get your blood drawn in the future after the doctor's visit, so it's nice that everything you need is in one location. There's free parking around the building and I didn't have trouble snagging a spot on a Friday afternoon.

We've experienced multiple occasions of inconsistencies and things falling through the crack as well as overall unpleasant attitude. Example, we were instructed to contact the pharmacy ourselves to have them fax a prescription order to the doctor. We received no response and as well as a text message from the pharmacy 3 days later stating they haven't received a response. I then called the doctors office to follow up to be greeted by a "What do you want?" and then put on hold for 15 minutes, which I eventually hung up and tried again. I also find discovered another mishap from a screening center that the wrong test was ordered and was sent back and forth between different centers. You would think the office/staff would have thoroughly looked at the patient files especially if these are more severe medical conditions I understand the healthcare industry is overstretched but these kind of impatient and rude people have no place in healthcare. It doesn't cost a dime to be kind. Not sure how they're getting 5 star reviews, but my guess is that those patients are receiving preferential treatment or catching them on a good day. He asked a few questions and then immediately prescribed us a bunch of medications, one for breathing, one for anxiety, and one for allergies. We asked for a referral to a specialist in psychology, but he just gave us Ativan immediately. We tried to ask, but he said take this first. I thought normally you would try to have the patient talk to a specialist or provide a holistic approach before prescribing medication, especially since it's a controlled substance and can be easily abused. The doctors office had a run-down feel compared to what i'm used to and the air conditioning was out so it was extremely hot. Dr. Huang was great in person - no issues there. She had me do bloodwork (which annoyingly the office can't draw itself) at an outside lab - I got a call after results came in from her office saying I needed a new appointment to discuss the test results but couldn't get it with the doctor until December which seems crazy just to have someone tell you what hte test results mean (or like 2 weeks for an NP but even that is a long time for something like that that you should be able to just quickly get info on) - something I've had done in the past through simple written communication or a quick call. I then proceeded to ask some simple questions - like can they check with a medical professional on if I needed to take the tests again because I hadn't fasted the full amount and would that impact results for the tests that I was showing unusual results on. They called back and said yes, teh doctor said you should take them again. Then I wrote into the app and pointed out that an AI chatbot I ran all my tests through was telling me that the fasting wouldn't impact the particular tests that were the issues and could htey double check - htey wrote back saying the AI chatbot was correct and in fact no i didn't need to take the tests again! The bad info just continued after I asked to follow up on some particular specialists the doctor had mentioned I should go to - I thought it woudl be in my appointment notes in the online app (they have a chatbot goign during the visit) but they weren't there and I couldn't find in my notes. The person who answered my question via the app actually responded that the office the doctor was directing me to was in fact the general 1-800 line for Cedar Sinai (which is def not true)! In the past one of hte most important things I've relied on a primary doctor office for is reliable referrals to specialists, and they seem incapable of this. At this point I will find a new office.
