I don't really care for western medicine because I think it's all crap but I've been with this man for 25 years as my PCP. I have nothing but the most beautiful things to say about him. He has never ever led me wrong. He has never treated me like a piece of meat. He has treated me like part of his family and has been through thick and thin with me. This the man is what doctor should strive to be like as a primary care physician because he is truly a good human. My entire family sees him in addition to myself, and I would recommend him to anyone for any reason! Sidenote, he's also fun to talk to if you can get that much time because he is a very busy man. His office staff may not do the best job on the planet, but he also sees a lot of patience so you might want to balance that with your appointment. He's well worth it. read more

Great office experience, from a few on staff Jordan was great. Dr Worrell was amazing. They are seriously understaffed but if you are willing to wait, they will get to you. Please make sure before blood is drawn or X-rays are done you ask if it is on your insurance. Otherwise like me you'll have a claim, fortunately my health insurance took care of it! read more

Been to this office 10+ years. Dr. Worrell and some PAs were great but the office now is horrible. Can't get a hold of anyone when calls except to make appointment of course. They wants you in but will not answer calls including calls from your pharmacy trying to ask questions about your medicines or refills. Don't do blood work there! They do not sent your blood work to Quest anymore! They sent it to some weird lab that charges you outrageously. Told them my annual and physical cover 100% and their coding must be wrong and to refile with the insurance which they wouldn't and send me to collection. Don't forget about the waiting time! They call you and get to a room but once you in the room, the wait is a minimum of a hour to hour and half. read more

I have been a patient for at least 6 years and though I love Dr. Worrell, there are a lot of issues with the staff! The communication in the office is the worse. If you want a call back from the office manager, nurse or Dr. Worrell don't count on it. It would not matter if the reason you were calling was an emergency you still would not get a follow up. I believe your just a number vs. a patient and anyone you try to communicate with DOES NOT CARE about you or you well - being. I hope the unnecessary forced DR. visits vs receiving a call from your Dr. to just ask to get a refill is not just about Ins. If you want to be ingnored, do not come to this office. And yes, I plan on looking for a differant PCP!! read more

The staff at this clinic are incompetent because when you come here they tell you that you have no appointment even though you called in and made and appointment. The lady who attends to the patient have no customer services skill set. This is second time she tells me I have no appointment and come back a second time, first time was fine As I did not make a appointment. But today I rather report then for bad services. read more

The staff is just totally unhelpful and seem so confused. Every time I call I am on hold for at least 10-15 minutes being transferred from person to person. The front desk staff is just rude and very incompetent of answering a question. They are VERY old fashioned, which just seems very inefficient. The office still uses paper charts which seems to make everything run much slower. It would be nice if the doctor uses electronic prescriptions rather than outdated paper scripts. Am only giving it an extra star for the fantastic PA, Jillian. She is the only provider I have had that has been kind to me at Dr. Worrells practice. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would ; this office had me on hold for over an hour. I understand that sometimes you can get busy but it should be common since to ask the patient for a callback number. Absolutely unprofessional of them to keep a patient in hold for that long. I don't even want to take a step into the office because I know just from being on hold for this long they will not provide the proper care I need. read more

Sadly, I think Dr. Worrell needs to retire. He WAS one of the very best. Now, every single time we (My wife and I) go, there is at least one error. This week, my wife went in and her blood pressure was low. 112/62 or so... She was seeing Dr. Worrell about heart issues and water retention in her legs. He said he was prescribing a water pill (diuretic). What he actually prescribed was a Blood pressure pill with a diuretic added. My wife nearly passed out on the way home after taking the prescription because her blood pressure was SO LOW!!! She easily could have killed herself and someone else. If this were a one-time thing, I would not post this, but for the last two years, it has been one "mistake' after another. Take yourself and your loved ones somewhere else, preferably a smaller practice. One of the problems here is that i think it has always been too big to give proper, individualized care. I am terribly sorry i had to write this Paul. I really love you as a person, but you need to know when to quit. Lives are at stake. After 10 plus years, we are not coming back. PS: Most of his staff is uncaring and make errors at almost every visit. Dr, Worrell admitted as much to me. The one main exception is Isavel. She truly cares. Absolutely horrible. I drove 45 min down here because I have been coming here for 15 years and when I checked in they told me my pay was nearly double because I was considered a new patient. How can you be a new patient after 15 yrs. not only did they try and charge that, they didn't try to check with anyone to see if it could be reduced to normal price since I had been there that long...... Extremely poor service.... Bottom line is money to them not your health. I took all four of my families records and are moving to another doctor. 15yrs of 4 patience and we are considered new???? read more

I've been there twice now. The positives: The medical staff (people who draw blood, discuss issues, sign prescriptions) are nice and friendly They are open Saturdays so I don't use a sick day The negatives: The front office people are rude and do t seem to be very responsive Calling for info on blood results will lead to only having a need for another appointment scheduled rather than sending results as requested (after signing clearance for it to be sent) ZocDoc doesn't seem to work well with them. I used that service to setup a new appointment as a new patient. When I went in, they switched from claiming they got no information to stating I completed the request wrong to just ignoring me for 20 minutes while figuring things out. The first appointment (after the ZocDoc failed and required rescheduling) lead to a confirmation of appointment call where they had put me down for a Pap smear (I'm male) They feel you should pay before you go back to the doctor Conclusion - unless you just want a place that will probably be a quick visit and open on Saturdays that's close to you, don't go. I'll keep going just cause I've tried 3 other places that were even worse. read more

Very unprofessional. Had an appointment withbthe doctor and saw a nurse instead. Had additional testing not requested so they can get more $$$$. Do. ot go. They don't care for poeole with isurance as they get a lot of Medicare and try to suck you into anything that will charge you. Samples were sent OUT OF NETWORK leading to high bills wuthout consent. No results were explained. They wanted a other appointment. I found him on yelp as I was looking for someone open on Saturday. Just save yourself money and trouble and choose a different place. read more

I have been going to dr worrell for about a year now. I love the doctors and the office is really nice but they have horrible wait times. Even as a walk in you will not be seen in the order you arrive, it is based off of the time it takes them to verify your insurance. I.e. You could arrive at 1:00pm but if they don't get around to calling your insurance for 45 minutes then your check in time is adjusted to 1:45pm or later. read more
