Once again, I was kept waiting and had to reschedule to the next day as I needed to get back to work. When I rescheduled I was assured that I wouldn't be kept waiting, and even told to come early as there was no one else scheduled ahead of my time. When I arrived, there were others in the waiting room. My appt time was 4:30p. At 4:24p the woman seated next to me asked me what time my appt was. She said hers was 4pm. She also said she was kept waiting last year. So at this point this woman is ahead of me plus there is another gentleman that needs to go back in (I'm assuming he had his eyes dilated), plus the patient currently in with Dr. Kreiger. So I know there is no way I'm being seen at 4:30p. After what happened the day before, I think a courtesy call telling me the doctor was running behind would have been nice. Needless to say, I once again left and have no plans to return. I also had made a back up appt with another facility in the event this happened as I don't want to lose my benefit for this year. Bottom line...if you don't have a problem spending 2+ hours at your appt, give them a try.

During my last visit, I dealt with both a technician & someone else in training. They were wonderful. I felt seen, heard, & understood by them, which can be rare in the health care world. They also made me l a u g h. Funny ladies! The administrative side of the office, however, is ... Not good. Some of the folks who work up front are nice, but the customer service is poor. It takes an absurd amount of time to check in. Some of my simple questions just go unanswered. Things move at a glacial pace. I've waited anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour for my appointment. I would probably still go to see Dr. Z if he only took patients on the peak of Mount Doom, but it can be a pretty frustrating experience just getting into the examination room.
