Located in Main train station upstairs and easy to find in west side of the square. Good German food, famous beer, enjoy it. 找了半天才找到,德国餐厅,德式烤猪肘是我的最爱,还有一个更大的猪肘套餐,我觉得吃不了就没点,这个小猪肘套餐我也没吃完

Great food and service in a relaxed atmosphere! We spent a night in Frankfurt due to a missed connecting flight and wanted to enjoy a good German dinner. Happy we found the Paulaner! We enjoyed our dinner and relaxed after a long day of flighing. My large salad with chicken was perfect. Fresh greens and fruit with tender grilled chicken. I enjoyed every bite with a glass of Pilsner and a warm pretzel. My husband loved his sausage dinner and my son enjoyed his burger and fries. Everything was cooked fresh to order. We ended our meal with a warm apple strudel. It was delicious and perfect with the walnut ice cream. Great restaurant in the Frankfurt airport!

As far as airport restaurants go, Paulaner is one of the best I've ever been to. And to be honest, even if it wasn't being judged on location I would give it high marks. Service is efficient if not a little bit unfriendly, but the food is categorically 'perfect' and the atmosphere is welcoming in a way you won't feel bad if you have a little extra time to kill before your flight. Paulaner is a solid choice for those looking for some high quality, German comfort food.

Very traditional German/Bavarian ambiance. Quick, efficient service. Food was good but mass produced for the crowds. Pork was tender but the gravy is a bit bland. The potatoe dumplings were standard but nothing to write home about. Beer was cold and tasty. Would eat here when at the airport but there's better options in the city.

Layover one night in Frankfurt, don't wanna go out as long as not enough clothes lol Just a 2-3 minute walk from my hotel to the squaire west, there's this famous place in Germany that serves amazing pork knuckles! And the best part? go perfectly with a cold beer! The service isn't too bad either, just a 30-minute wait for the food.

This is a great spot to eat at if you are on a long layover or staying at one of the airport hotels. There is plenty of seating and you can just walk right in and seat yourself There is a nice selection of German beer and non alcoholic drinks to choose from and delicious German food. The service is fast taking in to considering that they mostly have just one service waiting on the entire dining area. The food comes out fresh, hot, presentable and delicious! The atmosphere is enjoyable, especially in the evening time.

Great traditional food and beer! Quick and friendly service! Beyond an airport restaurant - if you stay around the Frankfurt Airport - this is a place you want to check out

Paulaner is a great airport option and portions are quite large. We decided to order off the seasonal menu (available Nov-Dec). The two of us shared the roast goose. It came with red cabbage, two kinds of dumplings, glazed chestnuts, pear with cranberries and gravy. I enjoyed the goose, but didn't really care for the accompaniments. We were quite full, but I also wanted to try the dessert- homemade gingerbread ice-cream with warm cinnamon plums. Next time, I'll get the pork knuckle.

When flying through Germany during Octoberfest one must do the Biergarten thing even if it's at the airport!

I had the good fortune to be in Germany during October so a beer and some form of fried pork was in order. I stumbled upon this place because I am staying at a hotel attached to the covered atrium connected to Frankfurt Airport known as "The Squaire". The hotel is at one end of the atrium and this place is at the other. In between there are some take away pre-made sandwich spots and a Burger King but there was no way I was going to eat at Burger King in Germany during Octoberfest. Had I done that, I would have surrendered my Yelp credentials. This place is a Biergarten but a low key one. I'm not a beer guy but when in Germany I'm willing to learn. I really liked how this place had plenty of tables outside of the actual storefront in the atrium itself which is fully enclosed but excellent for people watching as office workers, train passengers, and various airport users pass by. Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of German food as I find it tends to be heavy on fried meat and carbs. But I really liked what I had here and it was tastefully presented and not over the top expensive for what I got. In fact the portions are large enough that I could not finish it all including the small Pilsner I ordered. I'm not sure how Germans do it but the guys next to me each drank about 4x the volume of beer that I had. They must have a full-time beer training program that starts in junior high school here because I felt woefully inadequate and there's no way I would've been able to keep up with them. Since I was in Germany passing through, I felt obliged to have a piece of schnitzel. Since I don't really know a lot about German food, it might have been very mediocre but it tasted just great to me if needing just a bit of salt and acid. The gratuitous strip of bacon and sunny side up egg overlying the fried slab of swine hit the spot and I would order it again although the guy next to me got a couple of grilled sausages that he swallowed with mustard and sauerkraut that gave me a bit of food envy! I will fully disclose that I was coming back through Frankfurt from an unnamed Middle East country that strictly observes Muslim culture and its restrictive dining allowances so I had been eating a lot of chicken, lamb, and hummus prior to landing in Germany. So my awarded stars here could be overly generous since I was never so happy to see a piece of fried pork as I was while sitting here. If any of my fellow Yelpers are schnitzel and beer experts and disagree with my assessment here, I would not argue the point because I am sure that they know authentic German food and it's standard which I do not. I was just happy to be eating something that was unavailable to me in the prior week. My honest assessment is that I enjoyed this place largely because of the setting, the people watching, and the fact that it is October in Germany. I also love that it is attached to the airport so if you are simply passing through and have some time to kill or you are staying at one of the attached airport hotels, it is an easy walk here from the terminal. Finally, 9 of every 10 people eating around me were native Germans which tells me that this place is worth a stop in when you are in the area.

Came by for dinner the other night and it was a tasty experience! Paulaner is located inside the Squaire, right next to the Frankfurt long distance train station and Frankfurt Terminal 1. Unlike the other side of the Squaire, this side of the structure is air conditioned, which made eating inside the mall a comfortable experience. Started off with their homemade lemonade which was flavorful and tasty! Moved on to the side salad which was a generous portion with an even more generous dressing... As I'm relatively new to German food, opted for the Oktoberfest platter and was warned that it would take 25-30 minutes. The Oktoberfest platter was priced similarly to other entrees on the menu and could have probably fed 3-4 people? I ate maybe half of my entree... The 1/2 grilled knuckle was huge! I finished maybe half of it. The meat was juicy when hot and the crispy fatty portion was tasty! The breaded pork schnitzel was a thin piece of pork with a slice of lemon. The sauce did help add some flavor! The herbal meat loaf was quite fragrant and tasty! I wasn't a big fan of the white sausage with sauerkraut as the texture of the sausage was much softer than a typical sausauge. The potato dumpling was good and the fried potatoes were excellent. I wasn't sure how to use the beer sauce and two types of mustard. 30 Euros for dinner after drinks, and tip.

A convenient option for those staying at the airport. My currywurst sauce had a good blend of spices and was clearly elevated compared to the ones I ate at stalls on the side of the street (no hate to them). It was also paired with a refreshing salad to cut some of the grease. I of course also had a draft beer (pilsner) on the side. If sitting outside of the restaurant in the summer, be prepared for the extremely hot and humid air. My family and I sat outside but I quickly regretted not going inside.

Located at the Frankfort airport next to the Sheraton, Paulaner is one delicious restaurant. This isn't your typical bad restaurant in an airport with poor service and crappy food. This place brings it at all levels. The beer was delicious. The pretzel was amazing. The soup was filling.. I went with the pork medallions with spatzle - so good! And the food when they brought it out wasn't just slapped onto a plate. They actually cooked it to order and plated it very nicely with care and quality.

It was amazingly friendly, and the staff spent ages explaining the different beers to us, in a mixture of their school English and my school German! Beers include Bier-Hannes Export Dunkel (dark), Bier-Hannes Pils, Bier-Hannes Hefeweizen (fabby), plus seasonal beers - in our case, the fearsomely strong Krollebock dark beer (about 8%). The food menu is traditional German country fare, with hearty portions. It won't win any prizes for haute cuisine, but it was freshly prepared, very reasonably priced and was the perfect accompaniment for the beer. Splendid stuff. The interior consists of three interconnected rooms, all done out in a traditional style. It also has a large beer garden, atlhough it was closed for the winter on our visit. The only downside is the location - the road there follows the docks on the river Main, and basically consists of dreary discount shops and car showrooms: it's certainly not the glitziest part of Frankfurt. But don't be put off. We'll be going again next time we are back in Frankfurt. The easiest way by public transport is via tram 11, getting off at Mainkur Bahnhof stop. The Mainkur Gasthaus pub is to your left, with Bier-Hannes across the road in front of you.

We went on summertime with a group of four people and wanted also to have a light lunch. First of all: The garden and outside area is great and cosy! All of us tried the homemade beer which we all liked a lot. For food we had small dishes which fit to the beer and all of us were happy. All in all a good place to sit for a while and enjoy time with friends.
