The only downside was that my seat didn't have a table to go with the outlet, though that was totally my choice haha. It is on the smaller side, and you'll need to park in an underground garage and take the elevator up to reach it.

Came here with my best friend her son and baby girl after school to check out some new books to read together. I used to just buy books but got overwhelmed with so many that it's easier just to rent a book plus gives us a reason to read new ones together. All the employees are really friendly. My friend had to get a library card I already had one so checked out 3 books. Usually park underground the lot is always full but found handicap thank goodness near the elevators. Nice courtyard they do tree lighting near here too during Christmas time. It's a cute little area for the library. Return book time is 3 weeks which is nice. Thank you for your help in finding books and for your friendly smiles. Baby girl and I also found a puzzle on the table we were trying to do for a bit too. Love this library. Have a beautiful day, thank you for the beautiful books and friendliness. :) Aloha

Come to find out, my physical textbook didn't correspond to the online textbook. Paragraphs were missing in each chapter, or data statistics were not the same. The textbook was sold to me was published in 2022 and the online textbook was published in 2024. I scratch notes and make highlights physically into my book to help me study information l, hence why I purchased the textbook. When attempting to fill in information that was missing, it became ok much to do in each chapter. I informed my professor that I am getting chapter questions incorrect due to questions being asked that were not in my physical textbook. My professor's response was "...printed textbooks are published every 3 to 4 years. By the time it gets to print what was written is 9 months old before the actual publish date... Unfortunately, we cannot stop the world from changing." Is this something where I say "you're right Professor. What was I thinking?" Why do I spend money on outdated material? It appears that the material is sold at the Fullerton College bookstore because the professor approved it. I ask again, why do I have an outdated textbook that was sold to me by the school?

This is one of the few places where a presidential birthplace and burial site are both on the same grounds. Amidst a gorgeous reflecting pool, rose garden, and the palm trees typical of Southern California, Richard Nixon and his wife are buried about 50 feet from his birth home. The house lies in its original footprint when Francis Nixon built the modest house on a rural citrus ranch in 1912. It's perfectly preserved in the middle of a busy suburban setting today, included in the tour. Surprises within the sprawling complex include a replica of the living room at the Nixon's beach house in San Clemente, a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, a chunk of the Berlin Wall, and oil from Saudi Arabia's first oil well. There are countless other artifacts! Best of all, you might enter the museum thinking of Nixon as scandalous, a Republican who became America's only president to resign. But you'll leave with a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, the impact Nixon had on abolishing the military draft, developing relations with China, and signing legislation that would advance women's sports, protect countries against nuclear war, desegregate southern schools, protect the environment, and even initiate the end of the Cold War.

I'm going to be honest, I stopped by on my way to the fmr mkt to use their facilities-very clean & well maintained, you'd have to be buzzed in to enter. I like that it has paper towels coz I prefer it over the hand driers. It might be better for the environment but not for my health (unless I know that they actually disinfect those regularly, otherwise it harbors bacteria). The lady at the front was nice. The quiet library is open & airy, perfect for studying or simply perusing books. It has a large children's section with newer computers. It's conducive to learning & broadening our minds. I was probably one of the few kids in junior high (did I just age myself?) & high school who regularly visited the library to borrow books. I was a regularly at the Ivar (Hollywood Branch) Public Library & know that when the Mac desk top first came out-Cerritos Library had a roomful of them (Cerritos tax dollars at work, courtesy of the Cerritos Auto Square & the Cerritos mall). In this area (City Hall), there's an Olympic sized pool by the Senior Center (I think there are a total of 3, one of which has water slides ($25 entrance fee, unless it has changed) Dang, I should move to La Mirada!
