Paul's is now my mechanic. My father-in-law has used him for longer than I have known him and he's been my wife's mechanic too. I've recommended him to my parents too, when they were looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Always incredibly honest and quick service. Due to Covid, I wasn't driving to work, where my newish mechanic has been. I've always preferred to drop my car off by work and then pick it up at the end of the day. I decided to do what everyone else I know does and brought my vehicle in to Paul's for inspection. Around 10:00 am, Paul called me and told me what my car might need. He quoted me a great price to replace the O2 sensor on my car, which I knew I had to replace at some point anyways. He already knew exactly which one was bad, which I didn't, so I let him do it. He also told me that my rear brakes pass inspection, but would need to be replaced somewhat soon, maybe next 1,000 miles or so. Just honesty and not pushy. I didn't change the brakes out, since I had the pads in my garage. This summer, I was talking to a car salesman. We were discussing local dealers and talking about shops, since I know a few mechanics and had bad experiences at some others. He said, if you want the best mechanic, which is somewhat local to here, you want to go to Paul's. I started laughing and said I just got my car back from him a week ago. Paul was my mechanic for 15 years until I moved too far away. He is still my daughter's mechanic. Once my son gets his own wheels I am going to highly suggest he choose Paul as well. The simple reason is he is honest and has integrity. Sometimes it's bad news but you can bet you will get his honest assessment. Most times it's good news because Paul and his mechanics are wizards. His prices are very competitive and every part and all labor is always fully detailed on the receipt. Paul was asked by me to replace an integral part for my 2004 Camry. Not only did he get the part immediately, he was able to install it in record time as well as doing a state inspection, emissions and oil change. I was astounded at the professionalism and quick service. I depend on my Camry and to have the work completed by a 5 star mechanic and have it done efficiently and reasonably is a definite breath of fresh air. I bought a used pickup truck over the summer...I have always had new cars & take them to the dealer. Paul's was recommended to me. I had two issues with the truck. The first an oxygen sensor & then the wiper switch. For both repairs Paul's was below googled cost of the repairs & done same day. We got a flat tire a little before 4pm on a Friday afternoon. My wife called Paul's and was told that if I got there before 5pm he'd most likely be able to put a new tire on our car. These guys are great! High quality local auto mechanic. A real mechanic, not a gas station that does inspections on the side. One of my employees took his car over there to get the brakes and heater fixed. Both repairs were done quickly and at a very reasonable price. They gave a detailed receipt with parts and materials clearly spelled out. So after hearing this, I recently took my car there to get the shocks/struts replaced. They said it would take a half day. Dropped it off the night before and had a call by lunch the next day saying it was finished. Car is running smooth now. That night after picking up the car, I also left the work truck there and it had two new heavy duty tires on it by the next morning in time for the snowy commute. Excellent turn around time. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! This place was the only one in the area that did the enhanced inspection and after thousands of dollars and nothing but problems Paul told me I needed a new car before the end of the next year and then tried selling me a flood damaged car for $8,500 and 114,000 miles that blew out on the highway and nearly killed me! Go anywhere but there! He's a bonafide crook with a license to steal!!! read more

If I could give a negative star value I would. This is one of the most crooked shops I have ever delt with. I am from upstate NY and broke down driving home, leaving me stranded. Alright, stuff happens, just roll with it. I have my 2008 Silverado towed to Pauls to get a front hub replaced. Long story short Paul ends up charging me 2x for the part I needed and then when I called him out he said, "I can charge whatever I want". How does a $180 part I can get at NAPA cost me $254 at Paul's shop? I could have done the repair myself for well under $200 but stranded and without tools I am at his mercy. After I question him and we get in an argument, Paul refuses to take my credit card. I end up walking a mile to the bank to get out the $400 to pay this piece of garbage. Don't use this shop. Terrible prices and worse customer service.
