Yeah there was the little things like they forgot their tools in my cars forgetting to take them out. I'd gone out of my way to return the tools. But not this time! This time they forgot to use the tools and the poor service they did on my car almost killed me and others on the road. John's Brothers has gotten complacent with their service! Has there been any recent posts with good reviews? They forgot to put the nuts back on the rear wheel. Drove off got to Ridge Pike after paying for the service got about 3 miles down the road and the rear wheel went flying off the car, the car slammed down to the street, damaged the rotor, brakes, wheel and tire and scared the living shit out of me. The wheel flew down the road about 100 ft and just missed oncoming car and the tire tracked up onto the curb and sidewalk in front of a parking lot. Close call. Ask about this next time you use these guys. Ask them if they remembered if they tightened the nuts in the wheels!

They think of the little things. I had made my appointment online a couple of weeks before using one of the flyers that came in the mail, I scanned the QR code. I did put it in my phone as a reminder however I actually put in the wrong day, I would have been a day late however they sent me a reminder text to let me know that hey your appointment is coming up. Amazing, and very timely! I spoke mainly with Brandon and in all my years I have never spoken to any car repair place and receive such great service. He listened to my concerns as I have a few because my car is older. They kept me apprised of every step of the way. From initial diagnostics, when they finish them they sent me a link that took me to a website but not only detailed information about what needed to be done, but also recommendations with PICTURES to show what they were talking about. I was able to show them to my brother who was mechanic in New Jersey he said I see their concern and he agreed on their diagnostics, but we're getting rid of the car within a year so no need to do those things right now. When I spoke to Brandon we talked about what needed to be done for the inspection, the things that I wanted to have done extra including the oil and having an A/C repaired, and there was zero hard sell of any of the other options that were recommended but not needed at time of service. I have never had such an amazing experience at a mechanic shop in all my years and I can guarantee I will never go to another auto repair shop as long as I live in this area, I finally found the best mechanics around and trust me I've been to probably just about all of them including dealerships. I feel like not only are they getting paid from AAA but also want to try their best to get paid from a victim of a car accident. I always thought they did a good job on his car so I decided to get my auto repair work done there too. Murray's Auto Service has always done excellent work for me too. They explain what is wrong and what's involved in fixing it. When I pick up my car they will even go over everything and show me the parts if I want. They have always been nice to me and I have never had a problem with the mechanics, the work they did or what they charged. I never had to take my car back after a repair because something wasn't right. I feel safe when I drive away. There are people still taking there car repairs to Murray's that where there when my dad first started going there. I've met them dropping my car off. Everyone I've talked to feels the same as I do. Another thing I noticed was the vendors that supply them like the people that work at Murray's and I've even seen other local mechanics come to Murray's to use equipment or borrow a tool. I also saw they treat everyone the same. Doesn't matter if you are a long time customer or stopping by the first time. If you go there, they are in the rear of the building and it's best to turn on School Lane and enter the rear parking lot. I say that because there's a daycare place there and other businesses. If you enter from Main St and go back along the right side of the building it can have a lot going on. I hope this helps and you give them a try.
