    Paul's breakfast and meat omelet.
    Sarah M.

We heard about this new breakfast place in Branson, so we had to try it out while visiting. There was a 20 minute wait around 9am on a Saturday, but it went by quickly. We were seated at a booth near the back of the restaurant, and perused the menu while we waited for our server. We ordered water and our breakfast entrees, and the server apologized for the wait. It wasn't a problem at all, you could tell they are new and trying their best to get things going. I ordered the Paul's breakfast plate with eggs over hard, ham, and sourdough toast. My husband ordered the five egg meat omelet with a biscuit. The meals also came with hash browns (breakfast potatoes are listed on the menu, but they only have hash browns). The food was excellent and portions were large. We'd happily return if we are back in the area!

Overall, I'd say we had a good experience. My husband and I both had the chicken fried chicken omelette. He ordered hashbrowns and I ordered breakfast potatoes as my side. We both ended up receiving hashbrowns. When I asked about my breakfast potatoes, I was told that they call hashbrowns "breakfast potatoes," which I know for a fact is not true, having been to their sister restaurants. What the waiter should've told me was that the breakfast potatoes did not pass the soft launch reviews, so they are doing hashbrowns only right now. I definitely think he could've handled that better. Also, the egg part of our omelettes were made first, and then the chopped pieces of chicken fried chicken were added to the cooked egg and then the already cooked egg was later folded over the chicken. It was definitely not an omelette cooked with the ingredients, so the egg was super dry. My son had the Steve's chicken sandwich with breaded chicken, a side of fries and mac & cheese, and a side of green beans. He pretty much ate everything and enjoyed it all, although, the mac & cheese is just Kraft Mac & Cheese, which is not really the best quality. We ordered a 3 pound cinnamon roll for the family to share and it was perfection. There was not a dry or hard part of the entire thing- highly recommend trying their cinnamon roll. It was great! Love the bright colors, the retro 80s theme, and the overall vibe of the restaurant. It looks so fun and cool. Staff are friendly. Restaurant is clean. Regarding the restrooms, they only had air dryers, which I really think is kind of gross, especially since that means the staff, after washing their hands, has to turn off the faucets with their bare hands and open the door with their bare hands, before they come back out and serve your food. That has always grossed me out, but I am a bit of a germaphobe, so idk. Just seems unsanitary. Like I said, overall, we enjoyed everything for the most part. There are definitely some kinks to work out as they just opened a few days ago. We will definitely be back though, and we're locals, so I imagine we'll have many return visits. I just wish there were more cool places like this in Branson to visit. Hopefully other places will take a lesson from this restaurant and there will be new, themed places to eat at, and for entertainment as well.

Great breakfast place and the portion sizes are large. So great for families. The 80s vibe is so fun and colorful. The French toast was delicious and the syrup was tasty. Service is always fast and friendly. They have a giant cinnamon roll that is fun to order too!!!

This place is right on the strip but down a back road so its kinda hidden. It is new-ish and from what i hear is part of the Billy Gails brand and they BRING the quantity and quality to the plates. Staff was awesome, price vs quantity vs quality was excellent and the ambience was fun (80's and 90's mtv and such vids on the tv's and paint styling). The only tricky part, which is the usual in branson, is the parking and they have a private lot but its kinda in all directions matching the sloping landscape so just be mindful of everything else that's for sure! I got one of the 5 egg Omelets and ended up finishing it later that evening for a late dinner! Looking forward to grabbing a giant cinnamon roll(multiple people sized) to bring home when i leave town.

This place was amazing. Lots of food for the price. Great omelets and sandwiches. This has been added to our list of S Tier restaurants!

    Our server was great!

Great Food! Cinnamon Rolls were yummy! We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the staff make the cinnamon rolls! Our server was awesome!!!

Amazing breakfast no one could finish!

The portions on our plates were all big enough for two people to eat... And I ordered the all you can eat fish and even the first serving was more than enough for a family of four for dinner!!! Maui Ashlee and Missy were just so kind and happy to help us. Have an amazing breakfast!

The service here by Baylee was excellent. We sat at the bar and watched them make their jumbo cinnamon rolls. The breakfast skillet was on point! Sausage gravy was good. The cinnamon roll was the star of the show! The 80's/90's ambiance was fun!!! The restaurant was a bit warm.

I will give them a 3.5. Service was excellent. People are very friendly. Speed of service was pretty good. Size of the French toast different. Overall, it was average for breakfast.

3+ pound cinnamon roll. Icing poured at the table.

Great food from a Billy Gail's extended family restaurant. Service was top tier. Flavors were excellent. Wait time was managed very well.

DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want to BUST out of your pants. We DEVOURED this 3 POUND cinnamon roll in 4 minutes, and the entrees were out of this world. The theme is on point, and even though it's touristy, it's NOT A TOURIST TRAP. It was sooo good and great service. My only complaint is after the meal I was too fat to fit in the booth.

Only open for two weeks. Wonderful food and plenty of it!! Had the Ronald Regan and there was enough food for two or more.

Day 1: Line waiting to get in. 15 minutes passed fast as I was talking with some folks that were eating there for their 4th day in a row. They invited me to sit with them, and we had a wonderful conversation. Literally made new friends before ever eating a bite. The coffee was very good. My eggs benedict was very good, not excellent but still yummy. Our server forgot my orange juice which I remembered hours later. Checked my receipt and I did pay for it. Day 2: No line. I opted to sit upstairs as the downstairs is noisy due to the crowd. Upstairs was quiet and the view is beautiful from up there, too. I had the eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with biscuit and gravy. All were very good, but I'll pass on the biscuits and gravy next time. Again, the coffee was very good and the server brought the OJ I didn't get the day before. Servers are very good and friendly. Super busy handling a lot of orders. Overall, they get 5 stars. The owner stopped and said hello and she's very friendly as well. The overall feeling of the place is all are welcome; families, couples, and singles. Food was served quickly so it was easy to be in and out and on my way. Paying at the time of ordering is great! No waiting on the ticket to pay so you can get up and leave much faster. Tipping can be done at the time of the order or afterwards. Gift the server cash and they'll appreciate it. Parking is easy right out front. Use caution pulling out onto the highway when leaving. Some folks drive that road like it's a racetrack. The restroom is right at the front door which is convenient. It's nice and clean. Pricing in comparable to other places in Branson. I didn't try their cinnamon rolls because nothing could beat the cinnamon rolls at Cinnamon Nook A Small Batch Bakery a short distance from Steamy Joe Cafe. Next time I'm in the area, I will be back to Steamy Joe Cafe.

The waitresses are attentive and keep your coffee cup full. I especially want to note; at both lunch and breakfast i saw their people taking food temperatures on the buffet. That is a first anywhere. Plus i saw it at both meals. That means they take food safety very seriously. Yes, my favorite and i highly recommend.

Every tray was carried for every diner with a greeting and a smile. What I saw was hard-working people keeping every drink full. The guys behind the buffet had to constantly deal with kids standing in the way as they carried hot food from the kitchen. No one was rude or even short with anyone patrons. My waitress, Jacqueline, was so very sweet. She kept my drinks full and got me extra plates. Don't listen to the hateful comments on here. This place had great, fresh food with awesome service. I plan to always come back in the future. Next time I'll try the omelet station. It looked amazing!
