I ordered a custom omelet with cheese, bell peppers, and bacon with hash browns and toast. Everything came out buttered and delicious. I had to put half away for later. I forgot to take pictures because the food was honestly just that good. I had the French toast, my dad had biscuits & gravy, my mom had eggs, bacon & toast and my kiddo had a pancake and a fried egg. Everything was phenomenal. Our server was great and so was the service. The whole place had a great family feel. read more

It's a classic restaurant with excellent food and very friendly service!!! Their hash browns are always perfectly cooked. Mom and I (and Dad when he was alive) always order the #1, which is 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 awesome biscuits and THE VERY BEST WHITE GRAVY ANYWHERE! And we've tried other restaurants' gravy and there's no comparison. Oh, and their coffee is so good too. I prefer mine iced, so the server brings me a cup of ice and some real milk. read more

After checking out some recent reviews, I decided Belgian Waffle & Pancakes was the winner for today's brunch spot! We strolled in around 11AM, and guess what? No wait at all! The place was clean and had a pretty straightforward vibe--nothing too flashy, but hey, that's okay! The staff was friendly, and our server, Kathy (I think that was her name), was just a joy! She answered all my questions and offered some tasty suggestions. I went for the country fried steak and hash browns (add onions, peppers & cheese) while my son stuck to his usual favorites: eggs, bacon, cheese grits, and biscuits. He was loving it and gave the food a solid 5/5! I told him it was good, but not quite mind-blowing. The hash browns were really good as it tasted way better than it looked. The breading on the steak did not taste homemade as advertised but it was decent enough. I was feeling more of a 3-star vibe, but thanks to the fantastic service, I'm bumping it up to a solid 4! read more

Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early for breakfast. They had two entrances which I didn't know about so they would take one family from one side and then switch to the other side. We came here today for breakfast . Our server was lovely and helpful. My husband got cinnamon waffle and a side of bacon and said it was not bad. I got two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Everything was fine except the potatoes. Those were plain, tasteless and greasy, a little salt and pepper could have really make a big difference. Kids split the giant cinnamon roll. Came here for breakfast one morning. There is parking on both sides of restaurant but it is hard to find an open spot because they are usually so busy. There were 4 of us, we entered bldg to find a waiting line. No big deal, it honestly didn't take long to get seated. We were waited on promptly and our server was good. I wanted to try a waffle, others in the group had pancakes. I ordered hot tea to drink and the hot water came in one of those little metal pitchers. Drinks came quickly and so did the food for as crowded as the place was. The food was good, kids enjoyed their pancakes. My waffle was really good, crunchy outside and chewy inside. When our food was brought our server also refilled drinks. He brought a larger insulated pitcher with more hot water for my tea. I appreciated that, until I used some of the water. One could tell they also used it for coffee, and therefore my hot tea tasted not good, I could pick up the coffee flavor. It was a good breakfast all in all. Portions were good size. Now, I would like to address owners/mgmt. Please do not state, in many places on your menu, that warm MAPLE syrup is served with your menu options. It was warm, but please change the wording to "pancake syrup", for that's what it was, plain old pancake syrup. No maple flavor in it whatsoever, not even yucky imitation maple flavoring. Let me start off by saying that this place is unbelievably clean. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. The food was excellent. I had the French toast, coffee, and bacon. The French toast was incredible. According to the menu, it is from an old family recipe. I don't know what the flavor is, but I have tossed-up the ideas of a a high-grade vanilla, a homemade vanilla, almond extract, or butterum. The conclusion is, I have no idea, but it is good and so sweet. So sweet that I ordered a side of bacon to offset the sweet. Glad I did because the bacon was also excellent. Perfecfly cooked with a hint of smokey flavor. Since it was breakfast, I had coffee. I happened to love the coffee. It is a mild coffee. Just the way I like it. I am a little coffee with my cream and sugar type of person. So for me, the coffee was perfect. Daughter had eggs Benedict with hash browns. She said the eggs were perfectly over easy and the hash browns were crispy and delicious. Her note note would be that she thought it could use a little more ham, but that the hollandaise was divine. Our service was good. I think our server Jonathan was new, but he did a good job. He was attentive enough without being a bother. The price cannot be beat! We typically have a really tasty breakfast here. This time, the food was just okay. The chicken fried steak and white gravy were bland, the hash brown potatoes were average, but the biscuits tasted very fresh and good. Despite the fact that this diner is always super busy, we typically get seated and waited on pretty quickly. Great food, and great service. That place was busy, but our waiter was jobbing it. Very detailed about the menu great recommendations. That French toast is so good. My son had the ham and eggs and the ham is huge! There were only 3 of us, so we didn't have a wait to be seated (even though the tiny parking lot was crazy packed), but a few big groups came in while we were there, and they had a small wait. The place is casual gave me an old 1990s grandys feel. Great, real flavors cooked with love like ya grandma would make. If I weren't a vacationer, I'd go back for sure. read more

Had pecan pancakes (delicious with butter and hot syrup), pigs in a blanket (sausage links rolled in Pancake with butter and hot syrup), and grits cooked correctly. The food was good, our waiter was nice, BUT, they have 2 entrances. We didn't notice until it was too late. We waited 15 minutes in line. Once we got to the front, a small group walked in the other door & GOT SEATED DIRECTLY. When I questioned the elderly lady who was seating people, she said that's just the way they do it. When I exclaimed we had been waiting 15 minutes, she raised her voice to put on a show & told me I was being confrontational & making a scene. At that point my wife took over & explained if she wanted confrontation she could surely get it. Luckily she showed us to our seat. Since we had waited we weren't going to just leave, but we'll definitely never go back. If you decide to go, use the door on entrance side of driveway, not the one on the exit side. I don't understand the 3-something overall reviews, but I thought this place rocked! I had the French toast (made from a 100-year-old family recipe). I'm a French toast nut (!) and it was fantastic. I'm not sure what subtle, unusual flavor it had, but it was very tasty. No "egg" flavor here, the toast was cooked to perfection and came dressed with powdered sugar and butter. My husband loved his blueberry pancakes. They were a little too savory for me, but definitely old fashioned and high quality. I liked how the blueberries were embedded well into the batter. We both liked their breakfast sausage -- it was quality and cooked right. Be prepared to wait during popular times. They have two entrances and two lines going. It moves fast though. Unfortunately, for being a waffle house, they had extremely unimpressive waffles. I would describe them as less flavorful than an eggo. I imagine they use a very cheap powdered product and charge a Supreme price for it. They were not even warm, let alone fluffy or sweet. My husband got the chicken fried steak and I must say the gravy was pretty delicious but the "steak" was a complete joke. It was a super processed patty of something that was extremely tiny. The hash browns and eggs were good enough. Overall, very disappointing experience. Prices outrageous and less than McDonald's quality in food. Save your money and time. We also had to wait over an hr for our food (which we will give grace for bc they were super busy). The service was the only redeeming factor. Our server did a great job with how many tables he was handling. My friend and I were commenting on the way how no one can mess up a waffle. We were proven wrong. read more
