I was in search for a good friendly shop to build a relationship with because I know I will need the scheduled maintenance done on my bike. I decided to call West Valley Cycle Sales and talked to Robyne. She was very nice and accommodating! Scheduled me right away! I was the first customer at their shop and Joseph took care of checking my bike. He was very thorough! He spent the time to explain and go through everything with me. great shop with a ton of knowledge on the old CB's - getting fewer and farther between these days…read moreto find shops that know these bikes as well as these guys. dont hesitate to bring yours here. they did my girlfriends CB450 a solid run thru and found a problem another shop misdiagnosed as a carb problem, when it was in fact an advance unit spring problem. something you probably would not think of unless you have decades of experience with these things. they were able to put some better springs on it (they are not available brand new and luckily they had a spare better set to try) and sure enough, the little bike finally ran and idled. I wish I would have taken the CB here first! thanks guys!

Sandy had to special order some Michelin tires for me and they took two days to arrive. Was set to arrive at 9 AM on a Saturday morning and they had me back on the road with two new tires installed within an hour. Mechanics were friendly and could see were diligent in their work. I got lucky and today was a customer appreciation day and there was a DJ/ taco stand for customers. Definitely appreciated the free tacos while they worked on my motorcycle.

I paid the hourly rate for them to adjust my shocks on my harley. They took it into the shop and…read moretold me they adjusted compression damping specifically. I happily pay because they've figured something out that I couldn't. My shocks do not have adjustable compression damping. I look at the shocks and see the preload was set way back. They charged me $182 to dial back my preload. Total ripoff. On top of that, the screw they pointed to and told me was compression damping adjustment was actually the nitrogen gas relief valve. I had to take the shock to ohlins and make sure everything was still good. When I spoke to the owner or manager, he denied ever saying he adjusted compression damping, told me I'm confused and "misunderstandings happen all the time." He denied touching that screw even though I witnessed it with my own two eyes. He argued there's cameras in the shop and I said let's see it. Of course, he didn't pull the footage up. I'm not happy with how this business handles customer dissatisfaction. If he told me on the spot he adjusted preload, we'd be all good. But he denied everything and wouldn't look me in the eyes to talk to me about it. More important things to do apparently.

These guys were awesome…read more Had a problem getting my seat back in and the bike wouldn't start. Live right down the street from them and offered to pay their mechanic a couple hundred dollars to come over after work to put it on and owner Amil said no, he would send his guys over with a truck and pick it up. They came over right away, cleaned up the bike, fixed the brake, inflated the low tires, and go it done in a day for $300! Great experience and I will definitely be back!
