*Can't beat the price!* I travel for work and stayed in this…read moremotel for just over a week. You can't expect a 5 Star Motel for the price, but you definitely get more than what you pay for. I called ahead and made a reservation which was pain free. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and hospitality. Average nightly price was $49. I have stayed in worse hotels than this that charge $80. The room I was given had two beds, which I believe were both queen. One bed seemed to sag, but never used it since I travel alone. There is nothing overly special about these rooms, but come with a desk, microwave, mini fridge, smaller flat screen TV. One thing my room didn't have was a dresser, which I prefer to have, to unpack for the week of work, but not a huge deal. I didn't need it, but I couldn't tell if there was any kind of AC, but there was a small space heater under the desk. I assume most of it is controlled from the office. Bathroom was nothing special also, sort of on the small side. Small sink, but a big stand up shower with good shower head (I am picky about that). Never ran out of hot water. Additional Information: Not much for fast food restaurants in the town of Eveleth as far as I could tell, but the nearby town of Virginia has stores and restaurants. Parking spaces are nice and wide (I drive a super long truck for work and can have a hard time parking in tight spaces) but there aren't a ton of spots, just in front of all the rooms. Overall: Great if you are working, such as on the pipeline. In my opinion this motel is well worth the price.

There is a canoe, paddle board and kayak available along with a sandy beach for kids to swim. There is a communal campfire where you can start a wood fire at night and keep the mosquitos away. It's quiet and peaceful. We saw a pair of loons and a few boats on the lake, but during the week it's just lovely. There is also a brand new trampoline for the kiddos and a sauna. What else do you need?! We had a great time.

We had passed the cabins of Voyageur's numerous times on our way to a family cabin on Lake 14, but had never investigated them until one year the family cabin was full of family! Unfortunately they only rent cabins by the week (Saturday to Saturday), so we had to stay in town after we came north from the Twin Cities on Thursday. The proprietor is doing his utmost to renovate cabins, but he hadn't gotten to ours yet. Even so, it was very livable for the week, with a full kitchen, spacious living/dining room with cable looking out to Sand Lake, but only one tiny bathroom with shower. The front porch was very pleasant but the skeeters didn't always let us stay very long. The beach would be ideal for small ones, whereas we tended to take out the two available kayaks to explore the large lake and an island about half a mile away. Several parties shot of decent fireworks on the 4th and 5th. We plan to return next summer.

Also had a hand written message from housekeeper and informational papers in the room. Bathroom was spotless and shower was nice and hot! It honestly was one of the best motel stays my husband and I have had. Didn't hear any noise from the neighbors either. Very cute! Free WiFi!

It was absolutely perfect in everyway. I can't wait to tell all of friends about this barn for future events. The space surrounding the barn and silo is enormous along with the barn itself which can hold up to 200 guests. My family and friends who came to our wedding expressed how beautiful the barn was along with all the decorations we used to make it something you soon wouldn't forget. I'd like to thank everyone who made our day possible, all the decorations, the cake/cupcakes, pictures,food etc....it truely was a lot in those few days but we pulled it off. The barn it'self though is beutiful. With the old rustic charm that brings you back to where it first began to the modern event style, the balcony on the left side facing the silo made a beautiful picture for my family and I. We used hay for outdoor seating for our guests, along with a homemade arch created from birch wood from my mother-in-laws husband. When you have that much room to work with here, your imagination with what you can have runs wild. The tables were provided by the owner along with medal chairs for seating. With seat covers and table cloths everything came out so beautiful. You dont have to do this but my wife and I invited "The Forge" for axe throwing which was so much fun. Friends and family gathered around to test out thier skills. I absolutely recommend it. The upstairs of the barn made a great area for dancing as well. Like I said, when you have all that room for your event, your imagination runs wild. She does 100's of pictures within an hour in all sorts of settings. This was a gift for my husband on our wedding day and he was blown away! Pictures were amazing and Emily was fantastic!!!!
