If I lived closer I would be a regular. The food was phenomenal , coffee was top notch, service was great and it was nice inside.

Asiago Turkey Bagel with side salad and vinaigrette

Highly recommend! Delicious food & drinks plus a market with super cute items and a farm to market store where we were able to get fresh picked strawberries, homemade jam, and salsa! We had the turkey Asiago bagel with a side salad-delish vinaigrette. Also had some burgers, sammys, etc, all good. I had their potato soup. I'm a soup snob and it was too 10 ever potato for me. It was a lighter yet creamy packed with potato and veggies. Loved it!!! Service was fast and efficient and very friendly. They had some yummy looking baked goods we didn't try also! Loved this place!

Yum! This place is absolutely darling. The food is great and it has the farmhouse chic look going on. And it's the real deal. I love their fresh produce stand out front...oh my gosh..the biggest watermelons I have ever seen! Clearly this is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. If we are getting nitpicky I would say that the sticky bun was a tad dry (must be sticky!) and the potatoes were cold and the latte was average. But oh that french toast...so good! Oh me oh my! Just come here already.

Tasty cinnamon French toast and serving size big enough for two. Wish we lived closer so we could try more of the menu.

We had a much longer wait for pie at Betty's, and were lucky to get a parking place at all. It was mobby, and it wasn't even the weekend! There was about a 10 minute wait to order at the outdoor window, and a 15-20 wait for our slices. Most of the people ahead of us seemed to be getting pie shakes. In addition to the apple pie slice, we bought a toffee cream one. We ate it soon after our visit. It was delicious. The pale crust reminded me of shortbread, the filling light, sweet, and creamy, with what seemed to be Heath bits throughout. It was great and surprisingly not filling at all. As for the apple pie comparison, Betty's version was more cohesive a crust and easier to eat, but it was also surprisingly bland. The thicker crust at the edge was dry, too. The fillings from both bakeries were quite close, both good. From Betty's, we liked the cream pie slice much more than the apple. For classic double-crust apple, Rustic was best between the two.

Fresh, locally sourced and delicious menu options, fast and hospitable service!…read more We were worried that the wait time would be long but it was just long enough to enjoy the outdoor garden boxes and sun. Even though we are visiting Duluth during this crazy time of the wild fires, Duluth Grill made our trip worth it! They have a streamlined process for getting seated, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and local area. My family ordered the usual staples: biscuits and gravy, pancakes and sausage, and bacon/eggs/sausage. All were hearty portions and perfectly prepped. I tried the "Triple B" which turns out to be a Midwest version of Bibimbop. Made with manoomin (wild rice), beef/pork mix, kimchi, marinated kale- probably my fave of the dish. The combo is a deliciously perfect power meal to start any day and weekend right! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the care they take in procuring local ingredients- even their kale and some herbs are from their own lil garden. I highly recommend the Duluth Grill, there's something for everyone! We will definitely stop by on our next trip out to Duluth.

We had checked reviews and saw there were some reviews indicating this restaurant was not as good as it used to be. We decided to see for ourselves as the menu, other positive reviews sounded like it was an incredibly good place to go. It is. It was. It was busy, being a Sunday morning especially, but the staff was handling it all well from our perspective . I used to manage restaurants a long time ago and was impressed with the flow. Our waitress, Natalie, was delightful, knew the menu well to describe and answer questions, and we were not wanting for anything. She checked on us, always grinning and managing the iace well. I had the banana bread pancakes. A perfect choice ! They came and looked like a picture stacked up and flowing down with Carmel, maple bourbon syrup, marzcapone cream and nuts. So delicious. I took half home and enjoyed the rest later. Heated up perfectly with a 20 second zap in micro. My son had the corn beef hash skillet and said his was just as good as mine. We both agreed that we had no idea why reviews were negative, especially going on a busy morning. We will be going back every time we visit. I recommend you do too.
