    Buffalo Wings
    Kevin D.

A decent pizza from your standard pizza joint. Nothing special, but nothing horrible either Wanted to try a new pizza place. Hit most of the major locations already, so now going through the mom-and-pop operations. This one was one of them, so grabbed a menu and ordered to-go. I appreciate that they offered a "4 seasons" pie, a pizza with a quarter of their popular styles of pie. We even got some buffalo wings to try. The wings were good, but underdressed. They needed some more sauce, also a bit more heat. They were cooked okay though, so they did do that well. The pizza, it needed seasoning. The veggie side was the best, not too greasy and the veggies were charred to give it more flavor. The next best was the cheese. less greasy, but very bland. The ricotta didn't have any salt, nor did the sauce or the cheese. so it needed that little extra salt to let the cheeses develop The Buffalo chicken side of the pizza was also bland, but the chicken was tough and the sauce was watery. made the pan pizza crust a little gummy, but not too much. The meat lovers was the worst, with way too much grease and watery sauce. Price was decent, the pizza wasn't too expensive and the wings were reasonable. You get lots of quantity, but not a lot of quality. I like to call this place the quintessential Italian Joint. Basic menu, basic flavors offered en masse. Nothing special, but able to scratch the itch for pizza if you need it.

We stopped in for a late dinner recently. We used to eat here somewhat regularly 20 years ago before we moved a few towns away so when we wanted some good wings, we knew where to go. Paul's was always one of our top 2 restaurants for wings back then. The dining area looks like it was recently updated. The booths look brand new and are comfortable. Our drinks were brought out quickly and the wings were not far behind. The Buffalo sauce is nice and tangy so it's 5 stars for the wings! They were cooked to perfection and had a good amount of meat on them. The waitress made sure we had plenty of napkins but the sauce was so good, I licked my fingers in secret a few times. Don't judge - I couldn't help myself! It was late evening and I was facing away from the other occupied table so I did it. TIP: The wings heat up well in the air fryer. They won't be as messy because the sauce bakes on. The flavor still rocks though! For our entrees we ordered a Philly Cheese steak grinder and a meat-lovers pizza because both of us really like both of them. The grinder is served with sliced steak, peppers, onions, mushrooms (not for us) and provolone cheese. The steak was real steak, seasoned just enough to highlight the nice beef flavor and tender to bite into. It was a nice contrast to the crusty grinder roll it was served on. The roll itself seemed like a step up from most grinders. The balance of meat & veggies was nice and the sharpness of the provolone added the right amount of flavor. We took half of it home. TIP: It heats up very well in the air fryer. The pizza was loaded with toppings. Hubby loves sausage pizza and I like the meat lover's pizza. Hubby was up for it as he really likes the pepperoni and bacon as well. I'm a fan of both bacon & meatballs so it's a good compromise. Some of the meat on the pizza appeared over cooked. Hubby liked the pepperoni & we both were happy to see real bacon pieces cooked to perfection. The sausage and meatball toppings were our least favorite. One was sliced meat that resembled the meat used for gyros. The other was a crumbled meat that tasted like ground beef with a blend of seasonings that did not compliment it well. I tasted each of the 4 meats separately to distinguish the flavors of each. The sausage & meatball toppings were our least favorite. Our waitress was nice and took good care of us. We remembered ordering gyros there in the past so we will give those a try the next time we visit. There is a refrigerated case with desserts that looked good. We didn't have room for it and we didn't finish either of our entrees. No dessert for us since we didn't clean our plates! Perhaps next time we'll order less food so that we can sample some of their sweets.

Fried Clam Strips and Blue Burger

Both the burger and the clam strips were great fries were perfect the beers were also great

    Tuna salad plate. Delicious!

I am so surprised that this restaurant only has an average of three stars! I have been several times now for a bite to eat and think it deserves much more. I found the service to be exceptional. Served by two different wait staff both of whom were very polite and friendly. The food has been excellent also. Salad plates (delicious), pizza, grinders Inside is clean and seating is never an issue during lunchtime and early evening hours. We will definitely be visiting Paul's again.

We got thin crust and extra cheese on both. The crust was lovely -- nicely thin and crispy with just enough heft to support the generous toppings, and enough bready goodness so it wasn't like eating a cracker. The toppings were all fresh, cut in perfect bite sizes, and not over-cooked. Cooley's Kitchen is a cute little place with friendly service. There were about 6-7 cozy booths for eating in. BYOB. BTW - Turns out it's super close to Exit 68 off Route 84. So it shouldn't have taken me this long. I'd call Camille's pizza Modern Wood-Fired Thin Crust. I ordered one with pepperoni, sausage and fresh peppers as opposed to roasted ones (which is an option) for pickup. The restaurant was nice. If you're a Prince (the musician, not the one stripped of his title -- too soon?) fan you may love the purple hues. The crust was good chewy. I loved the pepperoni. They cupped and crisped, but in a slightly different visual way than many cup and crisp pepperoni. Very cool. Tasted great too. The fresh peppers ended up being red rather than green. This is a personal preference, but I prefer green. I like the flavor of the green juice better on a pizza. I also think the green color pops better since the sauce and pepperoni are both red. I liked the pizza, but I didn't love it. I couldn't figure out why at first. I think the primary reason was the sausage. It wasn't bad. I just didn't connect with the flavor. And also I prefer larger pieces, than the smaller crumbles Camille's used. If I had this pizza without the sausage, I would have liked it better. I do have a favorable impression of Camille's though. I would definitely return. 4.25 Stars

The owner is so nice & took our order. My husband & I both opted for the chicken shawarma sandwich (his spicy & mine regular). A pita with chicken, tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato & red onion. He said the spicy one wasn't too spicy. We also got 1 side added - his a chicken noodle soup (a bit too salty), and I had French fries - nothing special (& ketchup bottle pretty empty with no other bottles around to use). Lots of to go orders, lots of business. The cashier was kind, but rushed. I got their tabbouleh salad and a small chicken Schwarma pizza. Food came out quickly, so no qualms with speed. What I do have qualms with is the pizza and the salad. The tabbouleh salad was good flavor wise, but very overdressed. Was soggy in vinegar, which was overpowering. The pizza was soggy as well, undercooked and floppy. The topping were too heavy and made everything undercooked. The chicken was spiced well though, and it was clear that it was decently prepared chicken. It just wasn't a good pizza. Stick with the Lebanese side of the menu, and you should be okay. Too much fusion confusion currently
