Me and my family have been regulars here through out the yrs, my parents mostly din-in however me and some of my siblings prefer drive through. Anyhow until yesterday and after speaking with the manager Vicky today; I can tell you that me or my family in which I come from a BIG family will no longer be coming here anymore! Now because we are regulars for years I would never check my food to make sure it's right cause 99% of the time it's right UNTIL yesterday I wish I would of checked my order. Anyhow we're from Carlsbad so it's about a good 20 min drive and I order 2 meals and a large milk shake hence before I paid for it the lady repeated my meal which was what I ordered. Anyhow I get my order and drive home and when I get home my husband tells me they gave us the wrong shrimp plate however on the receipt they charged us for the original shrimp plate we ordered. So of course I call them cause I'm already 20 mins away and at home. I speak with a lady who originally took my order and tell her that she charged me for the Shrimp Dinner Plate however they put the wrong order in our bag. She says she needs to check and sure enough she says "you're right we gave you the wrong order but charged you for the order you wanted" (it's a about almost $2 difference). So instead of her politely apologizing or even mentioning that she can just accommodate the difference back on my card she simply replies back with "ok well we're here till 9pm if you want to just come and switch meals" I go wow well I'm 20mins away and before I could even mention if she could refund me the difference she replies again with "ok well we're here till 9pm so anytime before that we can trade out the food" I said wow, is your manager in? She goes no Vicky will be here tomorrow so you can call tomorrow; so I hung up cause I was at the point were I was annoyed by her customer service. I mean seriously are you f'n kidding me they wanted me to come drive back 20mins away anytime from 240pm (time I got home from Pauls Place) to 9pm and trade out my meal? I was so upset I didn't even want to eat my food from there, all the yrs we've gone to that place and that is the customer service I was given? Even if I was a brand new customer still bad services. Mind you today I call to ask for Vicky and I get 2 different replies "oh she wont be in till noon, I call at noon and now they say after 7pm" so I call after 7pm and twice I try to explain my situation to Vicky and all of a sudden they have a bad connection?! I call back and explain it to her again and finally I tell her " You know Vicky at this point I don't want any refund or accommodations I just want to give you my feed back on your employees customer service (mind you I'm a manager myself so I know anywhere you work at no matter what field customer service is everything), so Vicky the manager replies back with an attitude "well how much did she over charge you" I go that's not the point hence it's ... phone gets disconnected again I call back and all of a sudden it's a busy signal for about 40 secs straight. So that's it I'm DONE with this place and their BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ALONG WITH A MANAGER WHO COULD GIVE A DAAAM ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE! ME OR MY FAMILY WILL NO LONGER BE EATING HERE. *People do not waste your time or money here unless you could care less how customer service is given to you besides as many yrs they been in business you would think the inside would be re-done and stay clean through out the day but nope and on top of that my parents have said some times they don't sweep the floors till they close or it takes awhile before they even clean off the tables for new customers to sit at. read more

Had a taste for a char burger, so we came by here for one. Sign on window said New 1/2 lb chuck burger, so we opted for that instead of the ouble burger we usually get. Big mistake! The beef was tasteless and not cooked very well. Plus the bun got very soggy half way thru. So don't try this new burger. I stopped in here for breakfast and had the pancake combo with eggs over easy and requested my bacon chewy (I can't stand dry, crispy, well done bacon). They weren't very busy so the wait time wasn't very long. The food: very bland. Eggs were cooked as asked. My bacon was well done despite asking for it to be chewy. I let the woman at the counter know. She was very polite and had them cook me more, but that bacon was well done as well. The pancakes were "okay" at best. I'm not sure what it was, but they seemed to absorb every spread of butter I put on there. The syrup was really watery and didn't seem to stick to the pancakes. My verdict is that I'll probably never eat breakfast here again, but I'm open to giving lunch a try sometime. read more

I always stop here for lunch when my job brings me to Oceanside. They have a huge menu with Mexican, Greek and American food. It looks really run down from the outside but the staff is polite and the food is delicious. Everything is fresh so expect to spend a little more time than normal if you're going through the drive through (about 10 minutes). Don't eat here unless you're able to take some food home in a doggy bag because their portion sizes are huge and I've only been able to eat about half of what I'm served. I'd recommend the carne asada burrito, just make sure you have someone to split it with! :) read more

This place was the best a year ago but after today's experience I will never come here again. Within the past year I've noticed the salads getting smaller. Smaller trays, lets veggies, less salad. Well today I ordered 3 Greek breakfast burritos and 2 kids pancake combos. The owner, old lady with a really bad attitude. The total came out to $33.67. Five something for 3 burritos and 0$6.99 x 2 for the kids pancake combos. I questioned her and asked if she wrote down kids pancake combos because the special say they are $3.74 each. She started grunting and said I said pancake combo. She re rang the total up which came out to $26.64. She whispered something to the cook while I stood there for a minute taking pause on how uncomfortable ordering food from her is. She then turns to me and says with an angry voice "What, you want a receipt!" I didn't want to cause any more problems so I said No! to spare her from handling one more task so she can deal with other customers. It didn't take long before my food was done. I start eating one burrito on the way home. It was mostly potato with hardly any egg or bacon (I'm pretty sure I didn't get the Greek breakfast burrito I ordered.). I take out the kids pancake combo container and open it and was very disappointed and insulted by what I got. 1 thin pancake, 1 strip of bacon and scrambled eggs I could eat in two bites. This is what I got for $4 dollars. I could have gone across the street and got a breakfast platter that has 3x more food and comes with a drink for the same amount. Anyways, this place is a rip off. I have been a regular at Paul's Place for 16 years. The food there is delicious and very reasonably priced. Its great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will find customers there at all hours because it is a local favorite. You can get the yummy burgers or Gyros and fries but they also have more healthy choices like Greek salad and low calorie dinners.
