"PANCREATITIS IS VERY HARD ON THE DOG SHE IS GOING TO BE LIKE THAT FOR A WHILE PANCREATITIS DOESNT GO AWAY RIGHT AWAY" then the male assistant only asked if she ate or not (which she did the night before.) You guys let me leave with her pain meds. You also stated you wouldn't have sent her home if you didn't think she was okay. Well you sent her home and she died. As for your very witty "We are not mind readers" comment, I clearly know that because you do not even have common sense to admit that you guys have screwed up. A pet dies and your reply is hope you get over it soon. For those of you planning on going here, my neighbor who lives across the street from me had the same breed dog who recently died under their care. BE AWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION. I do not recommend this place at all.

Most importantly, he does not run unnecessary tests and put animals through unnecessary pain for money. My 14 year old Pomeranian recently got hepatitis and would've died without Dr. Kaye and his crew. They kept us informed of his status and gave us daily updates. Dr. Kaye would even come on his days off to ck on my dog to make sure he's ok. I could understand why other reviewers complaint about the bill. However, vet costs are generally pretty high, especially in New York. Besides, Dr. Kaye's rate is actually much cheaper than some other multi-specialty pet hospital (such as Blue Pearl). Also, both of my friend's dogs have been dr. Kaye's patient for the past 2 to 3 years and she's never had any problems either. In general, I'm really glad we have dr. Kaye as our vet. Unfortunately, people usually don't bother posting a review when they are happy with their vet experience. That s why I want to share my experience to provide a more balanced view.

I was new to the area and sold by the good reviews, as well as a close family member who had used their service for *decades*. My experiences started out great--they have several people who do the visits and I only met one of them, but he did great with my cats and was clearly an experienced pet person. This was never an issue. There were a few bumps, like when I asked for my plants to be watered, and they said that it "wasn't necessary" since I would only be gone for 2 days, but I know my plants, and of course I come back to them wilted. But the cats were fine and they even used the hand-vac to clean up extra litter around the box, so I was fine letting small things like that slide for the sake of a consistent relationship with a small business who did a perfectly fine job for the premium ($43 per "30 minute" visit) which they charge. I was just glad to have consistent and readily available cat care to trust when I went away. I like to think I've always been an easy to deal with client, having super friendly and low-maintenance cats, a clean apartment (leaving the A/C on for days when I'm away in the summer), giving plenty of notice when booking visits, paying well in advance, and leaving all supplies neatly on counter. Over the last several months I'd noticed several inconsistencies with what I'd come home to find after being away--the most disturbing being both the cat's water fountains completely dry after 4 visits in January. This could've been a life or death situation if I didn't come back when I did, but nothing like this had ever happened before with them, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt if this being a one-off and didn't mention it. I always fill water fountains before I leave, and water they take several days to run completely dry--the steam gets lower for a day, and then goes out. This means to be left DRY, the only explanation is that the water fountains were not checked or refilled for several days in a row. After coming back from a weekend trip 2 weeks ago, I noticed several more inconsistencies, things which I've addressed with them before, and decided to send an email mentioning these, and finally deciding to mention the water fountain incident. My intention if this email was a tone of appropriate concern over these building inconsistencies, and really just needing and expecting to receive a reply like "so sorry this happened, we will be sure to be mindful with future visits when addressing the issues you've mentioned for future visits". Instead, they clearly took my comments very personally and replied very quickly saying that I clearly didn't trust them and they were going to mail me my keys and not come back. I was pretty shocked at the lack of professionalism and impulsive reactivity of this response, so I replied with another long email apologizing if I offended them, explaining that the reason I'm mentioning these things was because I DO (did) trust them and just wanted to ensure the same quality of care I've been paying for since the he beginning. With the water issue, the brushed it off saying that it was over a month ago so how were they supposed to remember what happened (this lack of response only validated my concerns). The screwed up thing is that after these defensive and unprofessional responses, I basically ended up begging them to stay, if for no other reason than I had booked them for this coming weekend, paid in advance, and would now have to scramble for last minute coverage or cancel my plans entirely. Additionally, my cats, like most pets take time to get used to new people, and hiring someone new causes them (and me) unnecessary stress. I don't like leaving anything less than a 5 star review for deserving small businesses, and unlike Naomi from Pet Sitter's Club, chose to wait and make sure I was level-headed and not emotionally reacting before posting my experience. All in all, Pet Sitter's Club provides adequate care for a premium fee as long as you don't provide any feedback that can potentially be perceived as criticism, don't expect consistent service, and don't want to feel valued as a customer. Now that they've showed their true colors, it's clear I should not have given Naomi and James my trust for as long as I did.

I took my two mini-aussies here, first time, although mixed reviews I wanted to give it a shot. We dropped them off at 3pm by 5pm I got a phone call that my dog was found in the expressway dodging cars, luckily rescued by a great group of people. We were reunited and went to get my other dog to find out she was cut on her leg. Bleeding everywhere. The owner went after my Aussie and was frantic when he came back to the store. I was never called but he did explain his priority was to get my dog as he escaped. We went to the hospital to get them taken care of luckily the dog who escaped was fine other than torn paw pads. The owners did take care of the bill and also extra for everything caused. They also sent me a care package the next day which was very kind of them. They have been very attentive and as I do appreciate everything, it doesn't take away the trauma we all went through. I really hope that the security for the pups gets taken care of for their safety and to avoid a tragedy. I won't post pictures because it's just depressing. I just want things to get taken care of for the future. I give my best to the shop and owners.

Nancy first of all was gracious enough to take on the task of caring for Piggie who we dearly love as he is about 5 years old close to 6 inches in length and yes a chubby fish who loves to eat yet needs special custom care. Nancy was very detail oriented and out us at ease with her knowledge, experience and expertise caring for Piggie. She wanted to do everything hands on so she would insure it was done properly and that told us she really cares for those pets she takes under her wing. Piggie needs a special blend of regular fish food and crushed fresh peas which is a little bit of work but Nancy understood and didnt deem it a problem at all. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our pet was in great hand with Nancy. We felt very fortunate to find someone with her credentials willing to stop in daily to care for our fish. Her rates are surprisingly fair and affordable and she truly treats each pet as if her own and that to me is priceless. I could go on and on saying more good things that she is punctual, friendly understanding etc but I'm sure you get my point. 5 stars off the charts review and highly recommend Nancy and her company. We will be calling her again next vacation for sure. If you want peace of mind cuddle n snuggle pet care delivers!!!

The amount of care, love, and professionalism made me feel at ease while I was away attending to some important family matters. I loved how I got so many lovely videos and photos of my cats every day. I knew my babies were in such good hands with Dana the sitter, who was nice enough to bring my mail in and took the time to play and engage with them--and they warmed up to her quickly (not an easy thing for them to do with strangers!) . Very communicative, accommodating, trustworthy and kind company of true animal lovers--so much so that I booked them again in a couple of months when I have to go out of town again. I know my fur babies and home is in amazing hands. Thank you Nancy and Dana! These are some of the photos sent to me while I was away .

Very likely because I spend 3 hours a day walking my dog! Anyway, we are probably the 2 people in my neighborhood who spend the most time on these streets walking a dog. We became friends quickly. But I am not only a friend but a client as well in the sense that I was so incredibly impressed with how responsible, concerned and involved Ari is with the dogs that are entrusted to him that I asked him to be my primary contact for my American Kennel Club (aka AKC) Back Up Plan. That means that in the event something would happen to me and I could not take care of my beloved dog, Ari would be contacted to step in for him. That speaks volumes about the trust and faith I have in Ari. I am an admitted over the top dog Mom who is crazy about my dog. I simply could never entrust his well being to just anyone. Ari is a very special person. I happen to know not only Ari but many of the dogs and the owners that he works for. Both the dogs and the dog owners are effusive about Ari, and with very good reasons. He genuinely cares about what he is doing and takes it very seriously. He is always thinking about the dogs he takes care of and what is best for them. Between you and me, I think he cares more about the dogs than many of the owners. I have spent serious time with Ari while he is walking individual dogs and have even met him at the dog run for our development so my dog could play with some of the dogs that he takes care of on a regular basis. Ari happens to have a client who has the same type of dog as mine, which is a Shiba Inu, and we have arranged for the two of them to play together in the dog run and knock one another out. I even recorded their play session and Ari sent it to the owners so they could see what a good time their dog had with another Shiba Inu. Ari also has an assistant who works for him (because that is how busy he is) who happens to be someone I know as well. She is also dog crazy and that is how I met her. I cannot recommend Ari highly enough.
