My dog is the skeptical type when other dogs come around him. But, at Elaine's, somehow he's a social butterfly and gets along with all the dogs she grooms. Aubrey came over with his boxer, Boots, and met Rocky and Romy and they got along well. Aubrey was very accommodating to our schedule and sent us photos of Rocky and Romy "running his apartment" as he put it haha. As one reviewer mentioned, we were a little jealous that they didn't miss us more while we were away! It was good to know that our babies were being taken care of and that they were having fun making new friends! I'll definitely be using them again when I travel!

We have used them for three different occasions. Andrea cares for your pets like they are her own. She is very attentive, updates me regularly and my dog has an awesome time when she stays over. The experience was okay and they did a good job BUT They have a policy of charging you an extra fee if your dog is matted or has a couple of knots. And even if they dont, I can guarantee they will ALWAYS "find" knots on your dog to upcharge you, especially if you have a doodle or a long haired dog. They have a stigma against these types of breeds and almost guarantee you will be paying extra. I know other grooming places who wont upcharge you unless the conditions of your dog's coat are horrific, which mine was NOT. Its almost inevitable to have a (very active) long haired pup and not have any knots, but overall this place wouldve been great if they removed that policy. The grooming is already expensive enough, and on top of that they add an extra $20-$60 for their dematting services.

She was great with her! Of course my sweetie growled and tried to bite the groomer, but Sylvie was very calm, sat on the floor and spoke to my baby. She started to gain her trust and pet her and the aggressive behavior stopped! I felt comfortable that she was in the right place full of love and was not going to be mishandled. I got updates and photos from Sylvie during the process and couldn't believe my eyes! My baby was actually calm and let Sylvie do her grooming magic and transformed her from a scruffy puppy into a sleek sophisticated fancy pet:) I highly recommend this groomer. I usually groom Ravioli 1/month & I keep him cut like a fox. I let his coat grow out since we were on East coast & he needed the protection. I'm giving this business 5 stars because it's obvious from my experience that they are dependable as a routine groomer as well as they really know how to cater to the local demand which has to be touristy. Canyon ranch is a beach resort/healthy living spa etc so folks wanna feel pampered & have their dogs feel that way too! I'm pretty indulgent because my dog puts up with a lot & when I have the opportunity i splurge. The staff were understanding when I walked in 15-20 mins late (partly because a treatment went over time & because I'm not familiar with area). They had an AMAZING store, full of hand picked items fro. Europe...very cozy but upscale. You could tell that the owner, a french woman, loves what she does & loves dogs. She was very warm & sweet to ravioli & listened to my diatribe about his particulars even though it was probably unnecessary. I got to meet groomer. Only spoke for a second & I'm not really picky about specifics-I just had fun picking out all the funny fancy add-ons like a mineral soak & a paw buffering etc. Seriously, I've never seen his paws look more perfect. His cut is perfect. I didn't even know I wanted that haircut! I left it up to groomer on some of the details. They do delivery one way or round trip. The cost is reasonable. I spent about $90 on a full cut and wash & detangler & another $50 on other services. Also, they spent the entire day with him! Totally impressed! Will definitely be back. And to use their daycare. Couldn't be happier.
