Highly highly recommend this place. My Boston is allergic to all things chicken and feeding her canned food was getting extremely costly. Enter paw lickin good! I will admit that I knew nothing about raw feeding before visiting this establishment. They have a variety of raw food and we're able to guide us on what would be best for our little girl including recommended feeding amounts. We can't wait to switch our boys after they finish their kibble. Both of my three doggos are huge fans of the beef bones and duck hearts. The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations! I am so glad we decided to stop in! Ok, so before I start, let it be known that the edibles contained within this establishment are mainly catered towards dogs. Paw Lickin' Good is new to the area, offering a diverse collection of fresh raw meats and blends for your canine. Think of it as a butcher shop for dogs. If you're looking to change up/upgrade your pets diet to something other than Gravy Train or Kibbles and Bits, then this would be an excellent place to try. The associate (owner maybe?) was very informative about the different types of meats available, from steak varieties for large dogs to the little meaty pieces in containers for the wee ones. Turkey, beef, duck, fish, they've got it covered. After I explained that I was actually a cat owner and I was looking into different options since I spoil them like newborn babies, the kind lady actually gave me a container of the bits as a free sample to try out. It comes frozen, so I'll have to let it thaw, but I was appreciative of her knowledge and great customer service! They also have all natural chew toys and a menu board with a price list for the varied meat types so there's no guesswork involved. We started our golden retriever, Sadie, on a raw diet at 5 months old. She is now 1-1/2 & people always compliment us on her puppy soft coat and her pearly white teeth. She has an odorless breath & coat; drinks less water than when she ate kibble and all her vitals from the vet came back positive. Vets cannot recommend this diet because the lack of science but then again the vet couldn't say anything negative because she had positive results. If you are looking for quality raw dog food that is affordable, this is your place right here! Everytime I call they are just so nice and patient with all the questions I've asked. The food is always available to be picked up the next day, and I've had zero issues. I can usually even walk in and buy a small bag of the house blend to get my dog by if I didn't place an order in time. I buy this food for my little chihuahua so it's not too expensive, but it's totally worth it if you want to see improvements in your dogs overall health. They are able to help you pick out pre made amounts that are perfect for you dog. The price is definitely worth and is not expensive compared to other pre made raw I've seen . So glad I found a great source for my 3 bulldog's raw food. I have been feeding my pack raw for over a decade up North but found it difficult to find a reputable source here. I am (and so are my dogs) over the top happy with Paw Lickin Good. Their staff is knowledgable and very obliging. I drive from New Smyrna Beach every few months and have a very large chest freezer to hold us over for the quarter. This place has been a lifesaver!! It's been hard finding a reputable place for good quality raw food at an affordable price. Just a few of the reasons why I didn't switch sooner. I recalled a FB page Jade the Sable GSD I follow raving about this place on their visit to FL from Canada. They feed their 3 GSD's only raw. My GSD has recently been going through kibble allergies so I had to see what this place was about. I drove down from across the border GA and so happy I did!! I believe I spoke to the owner and she helped me in deciding how to start ruling out these said "allergies." Let me say this...it's been 2wks on raw and my GSD's allergies are non-existent. I've already been back to get more!! He drinks less water, but that's maybe because he loves ice cubes lol. His shedding has already slowed down, his coat is fuller and fluffier, his teeth have less plaque and his poop has been reduced to small dog size with little to no smell. It took me a moment to get here, but I am glad I made the switch. We now not only have our housewolf GSD on raw, but have included our Boston Terrier and our Shepinois police K9 into the raw life as well. It's a small price to pay to keep our four legged babies healthy and add a few extra good years onto their life. Thank you everyone at Paw Lickin' Good for everything you do!! This place is nothing short of amazing! I just started looking into a raw diet for my dogs and found this place through a German shep FB group. They have many many types of protein, bones and organs. I just left and i cannot describe how happy i am that i found paw lickin good. Customer service was amazing, very patient and informative. I drove a hour and it's worth it, the prices are unbeatable, i was buying raw food from petsmart and by switching I'm saving over $300 and i have 3 dogs! I def recommend paw lickin!
