My first appointment here was when my precious dog had just been diagnosed with cancer of the mouth and had just had major surgery. Danni made sure no other dogs would be there that afternoon to totally devote to a stress free experience for my girl. I'm grateful and she turned out beautiful! Have brought my new puppies here within a few weeks of getting them just to get them used to going to groomer and they seem to enjoy their visits. Highly recommend this small local business and since Danni is such a highly skilled, caring and friendly groomer, appointments are sometimes rather difficult to get at spur of the moment. Just booked mine out May - December. Prices here are extremely reasonable seeing as I have Chow Chow and a Eurasier which are ALL hair and A LOT of work! Can pretty much guarantee your pups would be very happy to come here.

I started sending Oliver to Lake Country Dog to give him some attention and to give me a bit of a break while I tended to the other people in my life. He loves going to "school" so much, that I can't say that word in front of him without him getting excited. I know that when he's there, he is loved and well cared for. My mom has been out of treatment for a year, and my grandmother passed away last August, so I don't have a need to send Oliver to Lake Country Dog for daycare. But he loves it so much, that I still send him once a week!! Natasha also grooms him, and always does a great job. One time, he even fell asleep while being groomed. My pupper (Agent Mulder) is not a morning dog and will usually hide under the bed if we try to get him to go anywhere too early -- but when he hears "daycare" he comes running, ready to go. By the time he gets home he's exhausted, which is exactly what I want. Another great reason we chose Playtime is because they're so flexible about when we can drop off and pick him up. They didn't tell us to pick certain days/times to bring him in, which is great because my wife and I have chaotic schedules. When either of us are fed up with our wild boy, we can just drop him off for a while and know he'll come back chill. The staff members are also fantastic and have more patience than I could ever ask for. I can barely handle my dog some days, yet they handle him AND dozens of others. I've tried about 5 other daycares and this one hands down takes the prize. Truly awesome place!

The groomer then picked the dog up by the ears and shook it. After that the groomer pushed the dog back onto the grooming table she struck the poor animal. I could see the dog recoil from the hit. Every time we set off for a grooming at Kim's, our beloved Buddy would go CRAZY to get to "Kim's House" for his bath and haircut!
