Now that I no longer live in my old place or in the area, I feel more comfortable writing this…read more Jeremy walked my dog for a few months after I moved to San Diego. He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.

We had tried various sitters and boarding places but Sunny Pets is the first one where I can tell Ginger is genuinely comfortable and feels at home, and the level of attention and care provided here is unmatched. I recently left Ginger here for over two weeks while I went on vacation and I knew she was in excellent hands. Jon is very responsive and communicative, and he shared videos of Ginger living her best life and playing with other dogs. She looked like she was having more fun than she does when I'm around! I fully trust Sunny Pets with Ginger's care and couldn't be more grateful that I found them. I'll continue booking with them going forward and highly recommend their services to other pet parents.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET WITH JON…read more I arrived to leave my 12-year-old Australian Shepherd with Jon. He lives in a very unsafe part of City Heights- not the address on his business license. He was very condescending from the first second because I had not responded to his most recent message on his app- he will only communicate on his app not by phone or text. When he confronted me about not responding to his latest pickup message, he became hostile, condescending, and extremely disrespectful. The interaction escalated into a yelling match and left me so unsettled that I decided not to leave my dog with him. I had a bad feeling about him in general. Afterward, I found his publicly accessible OnlyFans account. Although separate from his pet-sitting services, this discovery added to my discomfort. Leave your animal with anyone else but him.

We had just started working with a trainer to work out a couple kinks before we left and I was expecting to have to remind him of his manners. I was so pleased to find that with Cesar's patient and calm handling of my boy he really helped reinforce all the training we'd done and he was just perfect. They were kind enough to come in the early morning so that it wouldn't be too hot. And it was also a good peace of mind to have someone looking in on my mom while we were gone. An added bonus is they send daily updates and photos through the portal which does a lot for me as I get dog sick the minute I get in the plane. Can't recommend them enough!!!

I work 12 hour shifts and have had friends and family watch my dogs in the past, worrying about my dogs' safety with a dog walking service, but having Lis and Cesar check the dogs is like having family check them. They send me pictures of them on their walks and let me know how the dogs are doing. SO comforting when I'm at work worrying about them. I work evening shifts and I am grateful they are able to accommodate my weird hours. They are quick to respond when requesting walks with their easy to use website. They have affordable pricing and are very professional starting with the first meeting when Lis gets to know your pups. I am so grateful for their help and grateful to know my dogs are content when I get home. If you want a safe, reliable dog walker, Lis and Cesar are perfect for your fur babies!

Also, immediately following the Pug-walks with Kay, my Louigi was not out of breath, even though the weather was very sunny and hot (Pugs have a definite tendency of overheating). Kay consciously followed my exact directions, in order to find the perfect location, for my Pug to have a nice and shady route, every time. Also, Kay acknowledged the items of concern, which I had emailed to her, immediately prior to the initial scheduled dog-walk (at my front-door). Thank you very much, Kay!!! Kay is very compassionate and has a very positive disposition. Kay is very reasonable about everything and has a very competitive rate. I am a definite fan of Kay and her great company called Dog Walks and Soul Talks!!! (FYI, lately I have tried a few other Dog Walk Companies and they charge you way too much for way too little).x

I found Kay online and she offered to do a free meet & greet to make sure we're compatible. Bandit is a reactive dog on a leash, which means he lunges and whines/barks at other dogs on walks. It was really hard for me to find a walker that could take on all 60lbs (lean mass) of him. It was doggy love at first sight, he was super excited to meet her and was really chill with us chatting. I quickly schedule a dog walk for the next morning. Bandit had loads of fun on his dog walk and he was pretty much pooped afterward. Like bro! It was only 30 mins. Kay is definitely now our regular dog walker.
