If Jocelyn and/or Andrew are not available - I don't go. Jocelyn and Andrew are the only two people that I trust to take care of furry and feathered kids. They have been pet sitting for me for years. My dogs greeted them with wagging tails and kisses the first time we met. They both came to our home to meet us, and do a very detailed intake care form. I immediately trusted them and they have never disappointed. It is so nice to be able to go on holiday and not worry about the security and love that my dogs and birds will receive 24 hours a day. I do not worry about their diets, or enough cuddles, sleeping on the bed, and very importantly (I live in coyote country) I never let the dogs out on their own, and I know that both Jocelyn and Andrew are diligent about out door time, closed gates and good long walks. The water bowls are always filled and clean. When meds were involved, I knew without doubt they would receive there meds on schedule. I receive pictures and updated daily. Jocelyn and Andrew are a gift, and I am grateful that I have been able to travel, they have given me that freedom, because I know I will return home to happy and loved dogs and birds, and a nice perk...a clean home! I recommend these two amazing humans without hesitation to care for your pets, you will have peace of mind and be able to enjoy your holiday, or work trip knowing your babies at home are loved and safe. There are pet sitters and then there is Jocelyn and Andrew. Where can i start? it started with very comprehensive note taking and asking questions about all the details of my pets life. They are lovely, genuine people that really care about animals and about your comfort while away from home. I received VERY regular updates with funny photos and hilarious messages. They cheered me up while i was away... My dogs are not dopey and quiet. They are very alert and active and require an experienced hand. They could handle them!! You absolutely will not find a better deal either. They are so fairly priced. Just great on every level. I HIGHLY recommend. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jocelyn and Peaceable Kingdom pet sitting! From the moment I first met with Jocelyn, I felt comfortable - she struck me as a "mother Earth" type - with all of the creatures great and small flocking to her wherever she goes. :-) My dogs loved her immediately (that includes a dog who doesn't really like anybody!) and in addition to having finicky dogs, right before her first pet sit for me, I found out my oldest dog was diagnosed with kidney disease and had some new health and dietary/medication requirements. Jocelyn spent that entire pet sit hand feeding my dog a variety of foods to get her to eat!! That alone has endeared her to me forever, but when she or Andrew come over and I see how my dogs react to them, I know they are in excellent hands! Like any pet parent of older animals, there is always some concern about leaving them - but other than missing them, I have zero qualms about their well-being as I know Jocelyn will do whatever is needed to make sure they are happy/safe/spoiled. To me, that is everything, and not something you can fake...you either have it, or you don't. Jocelyn and peaceable Kingdom pet sitters absolutely have it!!! (Oh - and I came home to a house that was cleaner than how I left it!!) Cant recommend them highly enough. If you need a petsitter for your fur babies and dont want to worry about anything (except maybe your kids being sad when they leave)...these are your folks!! read more

Wow, I don't give five stars for anything, Andrew came very very close. My family and I were called away for an event out of the area. Andrew and Peaceable Kingdom were referred to our family from a friend at Mass. WE are GRATEFUL for them. Andrew met with us and our dogs were all over the guy. They loved him and he them. Best Value in town. They sent us updates, on each visit and stayed over to attend to some special needs. Enjoyable postings for our family to see while away and the house was even cleaner than when we left. This is a great duo. My two doxies are not just a job to them. They take a genuine interest in their lives. They turned me onto new healthier dog food and are always giving them plenty of attention. Jocelyn is an incredible gem. I honestly don't think you could find anyone who is more dedicated to you and your pet. We've had the pleasure of working with Jocelyn for more than a year now and couldn't be happier. When we first adopted our dog, she suffered from separation anxiety. Jocelyn's calm and caring demeanor was just what we all needed. We felt comforted in knowing that our dog was in good hands when we had to leave her. Jocelyn would text us with updates on how they were doing, etc. Our dog no longer has anxiety issues and I sometimes think she can't wait to see us leave so she can spend more time with Jocelyn. She has been known to sit by the door in anticipation of Jocelyn's arrival. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does?! It's obvious that our dog loves her as much as we do. I went out of town for 10 days and felt completely at ease leaving my 3 very different cats in Jocelyn's care. She gave me daily reports on each cat and also took care of the mail and some plant watering. Jocelyn went above and beyond what I expected. I left my Hannah girl with Jocelyn and Andrew for 7 days. Being new to the area I was a bit hesitant. I must say that faded away completely when we all had a meet and greet. Hannah is my 15 year old Cairn terrier with special needs. They took such good care of her. She even got to sleep with them, special food cooked and so much loving from them. I was sent photos and updates more than once a day. It made my trip of being away from Hannah comfortable. I think she misses all the constant attention and the kitties of coarse!! When we came back home after long trip to Canada, our two cats and the guinea pig basically looked at us and said... hey, where's the FUN one? Jocelyn was not only so fantastic with the pets, you could tell she really genuinely cared for them, sending us cute photos of them every day with witty comments. My 15 year old beagle mix can't be kenneled any more so I had to turn to in-home service for the care of my sweet old man. My husband and I knew that we could trust Jocelyn immediately because our cold and indifferent cat loved her right away. Normally, he does not come near strangers and only gives us affection if, when and where he chooses. When Jocelyn and he were introduced, he melted into a sweet, charming, purring thing that we hardly recognized. Although my description sounds otherwise, he is our baby and it was extremely hard to consider letting someone new take care of him.
