All the animals are well cared for and healthy but are in need of forever homes. I was incredibly impressed by the owner Andrea, her son Tommy, and daughter Nadine. I would recommend this shelter to anyone interested in adding a new memeber(s) to their family. Dogs were dropped off at 8am, supposedly weren't complete until closing, though an estimate of 1pm had been given. Received no phone call on their completion of service. Lack of itemized bill The services are charged according to how much product is used and time required. Why then am I not in possession of a bill annotating these amounts? What exactly did I spend $165 on? Of additional note, both my dogs drank nearly a full large bowl each upon returning home. It seems they had not had access to water in a long time, although this may be behavioral and is unverifiable. Overall: not happy.

They listened to what we wanted and did not push any treatments just to make a dollar. I am very happy with the work they do and the care they put into their animals. Franklin took a turn for the worst very fast. We had no appointment or anything and they came same day to our home to put him down peacefully in his own bed. I expected to pay a fortune for that service it was less than an exam. They made the entire process very easy for us.

I didn't realize this facility wasn't located at the actual vet's office. If I had noticed that detail, I never would have chosen this place. That part is on me. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a nightmare. I was told I would receive daily report cards and photos. I only received two photos on one day, and that only happened after I called three times asking for updates. After that, I received nothing for the rest of their stay. It felt like my dogs were being completely ignored. They were supposed to get a morning treat every day. They only received two out of the five days. On pickup day, they were supposed to eat around noon. I arrived at 5 p.m. to find out they still had not been fed. Their bedding was soaked in urine and covered in feces. Their treat bags had bite marks all over them like they had been left out and a dog got into them. To top it off, we provided an entire jar of calming chews, and it was not returned to us. It was disgusting and heartbreaking. Since coming home, my dogs have not been acting like themselves. I truly believe they were neglected and possibly traumatized while in this facility's care. I am sick over it. I would never recommend 2nd Home Pet Resort to anyone. No animal deserves to be treated like this, and honestly, this place should be shut down.

She was spayed, chipped and had ALL her shot PLUS heartworm tested AND they gave her heartworm and flea and tick prevention. She is sweet and exactly what Allie and her volunteers described. She is living her best life and enriching ours. We have rescued before and she is by far the best cared.for dog we have rescued. If you want to rescue I highly recommend Sanctuary in the South.

I took my dog in for grooming, and to my shock, she returned looking completely out of sorts. Not only did she have puss coming out of her eyes, but her behavior suggested she had been drugged. Concerned for her well-being, I immediately took her to the vet, where the doctor confirmed that she had indeed been given something that had her drowsy and also shampoo and another substance was in her eyes that caused the green tint and puss to leak out her eyes .The vet visit left me anxious and frustrated, so I returned to Sabine with the discharge papers and the vet bill to address my concerns. Instead of showing any accountability or empathy, Sabine became aggressive and defensive. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially when it comes to the safety of our pets. I cannot believe a groomer would risk a dog's health and then react so poorly when questioned about it. I strongly advise other pet owners to think twice before using Sabines Enchanted Grooming LLC. Your pets deserve better care than this.
