Heyhey is my 1.5-year-old, gentle Chocolate Lab, and like many owners, my biggest fear was him getting hurt or feeling overwhelmed by the unpredictable energy of public dog parks. When I discovered Paws Dog Camp, I knew I had finally found the perfect sanctuary for him. Heyhey has been attending camp since July 2025, and it has played a massive role in his socialization. Because of their unique membership policy, the dogs follow a consistent weekly schedule. This means he sees the same friends every time he goes. It completely eliminates the stress of "joining a new pack" or dealing with the nerves of unknown dogs. Seeing them play in a fully fenced, monitored private farm gives me such incredible peace of mind. The bond he has with the team is the best part. Every morning at pickup, Heyhey gives the handlers the warmest welcome and practically leaps into the van without a single backward glance at me! Through the photos the handlers send, I get to see his eyes shining with pure joy as he chases balls, wrestles, and plays tug-of-war with his best human and dog friends. By the time he comes home, he is happily exhausted and goes right to sleep. The handlers so patient and truly love what they do. They are incredibly accountable and attentive to every owner's preferences. Their service is so convenient; on days I have to leave early or stay late, they handle the home pickup and drop-off without any issues. For the level of care and the expansive space they provide, the cost is wonderful--especially for a high-energy, 70lb Lab! While I haven't tried their overnight boarding yet, they will absolutely be my first choice when I travel. Unlike a typical daycare, they screen every dog/owner that they allow into their services which gives me peace of mind to know that there wont be any wildcards which could lead to problems. Paws Dog Camp is truly one-of-a-kind, and Trina & Omie have built something special. Our two corgis, Tato & Chip, absolutely thrived here. The pick-up team -- especially Gaby and Oscar -- were incredible. Tato is usually very shy about leaving the house with strangers, but Gaby was so patient and gentle with her. Before long, the second she heard the door open, she'd bolt out, excited "to go to school." That kind of trust and joy doesn't happen everywhere. The camp itself is everything you'd hope for: safe, fenced, off-leash space where dogs can run, play, and socialize. They always came home happy, tired, and so well cared for. Even after we moved outside the service area, we continued boarding with Paws Dog Camp -- it was absolutely worth the extra drive to know Tato & Chip were with people who truly love and understand them. I cannot say enough about the amazing care my dog receives at PAWS! Noodle has been going to PAWS for almost 5 years now, and still practically jumps into the staffer's arms when they come to get her. She comes home safe, happy and after a day of romping around, totally pooped out. Noodle can be an easily excited dog, and the staff handle her very professionally. We had tried out the larger franchise-owned day cares and both of us got lost in the chaos. PAWS is a smaller, more intimate business and as a result, Noodle sees familiar dogs every day, and is well-known and thoroughly loved by each of the staffers. I love that I get pics and regular updates. Noodle has been on a few overnights at Omie's and Trina's, and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. They treat her like one of the family! They even handle Noodle's complex dietary needs without a problem. This is a business owned by true dog-lovers. I can't say enough good about Paws Dog Camp. They have been one of the best choices we made for our pup, hands down. We moved to the Bay Area from Colorado and our dog was used to open spaces and long walks. We were worried that here he wouldn't get the space and exercise that he needs and was used to. We found Dog Camp and they have truly been lifesavers. They pick him up and drop him off, and he goes a few days a week. He literally sits by the door in the morning waiting for them, and as he hears them turn onto the street he gets excited. He comes home tired and happy. They also offer boarding- not mass boarding in kennels, but in the home, taking care of the dog as if they were their own, and then they get to go to camp with their friends during the day! They know that our pup loves chasing balls and would throw him endless balls at camp. I'd have to say that I found Trina about 9 years ago, a few short months after I rescued Sadie, my beautiful and energetic, loving and ever-so animated Weimaraner from Pets In Need in Redwood City. I knew that I needed a pet sitter, but I was disappointed in all the "clinical" pet sitting services I had found through my vet and in doing some research. They were all soo regimented in drop off times, what the dog can and can't do, what I can and can't do --- good lord were these people for real!?... Sadie and I were walking around the local dog part when I caught glimpse of Trina chatting up another pet owner. I got an instant comforting and pet-loving vibe! Yes, I was eaves dropping on the conversation, but it was in the best interest of Sadie! Totally warranted! I got Trina's phone number and set-up our consultation. I was trepidatious in that Sadie had a few bad habits: she didn't love all dogs equally - some might say she was snobby... Not a problem - Trina quickly reassured me that Sadie would be in good hands and she would even be able to ween Sadie away from some of those nasty habits... Now, 9ish years later Sadie and I couldn't be happier! Sadie has definitely gotten friendlier with pups and is in such tremendous shape. When I'm stopped on the street with Sadie, everyone is shocked that she's 11 - "she looks like a young pup!"... Sadie spends 5 days a week with Trina & Craig and still waits on the edge of the bed each & every morning for the sound of the key in the door for her morning pick-up! My pandemic pup Kiki has been going to Paws Dog Camp twice a week for the past few months. I was nervous about sending her at first as she's been with me 24/7 since I rescued her in January, but I thought it would be good for both of us to get a little separation a couple of days a week. I couldn't have made a better choice in sending her to Paws Dog Camp. Trina the owner and Omie, the wonderful staff member who picks Kiki up and drops her off, came to my house to meet Kiki and do an assessment to make sure she was a good fit with the pack. The next week, Omie came to pick Kiki up and made sure she was comfortable riding in the van, even letting her sit up front while she got used to all the new dogs and new adventures. Kiki was super nervous at first, but now she flies out the door as soon as Omie arrives, tail wagging and a big smile on her face while she jumps into the back of the van with her buddies. We love Paws Dog Camp! We moved to the Bay Area early this year and wanted to find a day care for our high energy, 9 month old German Shepherd/ Australian Cattle Dog mix. Rocky started with PAWS camp when he was an 8 month old puppy, and has been attending for almost 2 years now. We love that he is socializing with other dogs and getting out of the house for off-leash time in a beautiful setting. It has also been such a blessing that Rocky has been able to board with Omie, someone he knows and trusts. I cannot say enough about how happy I was to use this service. I had plans to leave town for 3 days and did not have anyone to look after my two cats. They normally do not pet sit for cats but she agreed after hearing my desperation. Did I mention that the request was made on short notice? Trina was wonderful! My shiba inu Foxy is a bit... particular... but she LOVES Trina and her team. Trina has been taking Foxy and her pack to 'the ranch' for the past 3 years. It's a huge fenced in area so I don't have to worry about her being off-leash, as I know she'll be safe and secure no matter what. I also travel a lot for work and Trina is incredibly accommodating and flexible. She keeps Foxy overnite, and sends pix of her lounging about like a member of Trina's family. I can't recommend Trina highly enough -- both you and your pup will be very happy. Craig and Trina are the best! I have a 2-year-old English Bulldog, Tank, and he absolutely loves them. He gets so excited whenever he sees them and I can rest assured that he is in great hands when I am out of town. They are very accommodating and really treat your dog like their own. I recently moved to the East Bay and still use them for occassional dog sitting during the week just so he can get his fix because I can tell he misses playing with his buddies at the beach. Trina and Craig are really good to our 2 year old gooldendoodle Ginger. We get fun pics of her at the beach, and she's stayed over at their home for overnights several times while we're out on vacation and we'd get regular report outs/pics on how she's doing so we wouldn't miss her too much. We've had a bunch of requests which they readily did. And they're great about last minute changes to our schedule, Trina often emails back within an hour. One super nice thing Trina recently did was that we were away and coming in late on July 4th from our trip. Trina kept Ginger extra long at her home because she didn't want my dog frightened by the fireworks when we were still not at home. It's convenient, similarly priced to doggie daycare but far better since you get drop/off pick up and playing in the outdoors and your dog gets a lot of tlc and personal attention. read more

My wife and I can't say enough about Trina and Craig. They have been a second family to our two Labradors (Kona and Ele) since they were 4 months old. Sometimes I get the impression that the girls are more excited to see them than they are when we get home. They spend 5 days a week with Paws Petsitting, spending two of them at Fort Funston. When we have to go out of town, Trina and Craig are always there to help us out and accommodate our crazy schedules. The best part of it is, we don't have to worry about the pups because we know they are in good hands digging holes and laying pool side with Trina and Craig. At the end of the day it is all about their happiness and well being. When we come home after a long day at the job they are happier than ever. Trina and Craig are are great team. They have become like family as they have been taking my dogs since 2005. Both of them are responsible and so great with the dogs. I have a fear aggressive female dog and she loves them and respects them because they both are the alpha and the dogs know that they are safe when either Craig or trina is in charge!! I also have a energetic ridgeback pup - 17 months old now but Craig and Trina have been working with him for a while. I also have a fearful 10 year old ridgeback that loves his outings with them!! They send great pics of their outings. My dogs have also boarded with Craig and Trina for up to two weeks and I am totally confident when my dogs are with them that they are loved and cared for like when I am home. One special thing that I really appreciate, that they did for me, was take my dogs out on a Sunday for almost 5 hours when I needed to euthanize my older dog who suddenly became paralyzed. Doing the short time he was paralyzed, Craig helped me by checking on and turning my boy even changing his pee pad. Both Trina and Craig go above and beyond and support their clients when they can, like my special circumstances!! Trina apparently thinks she knows how to take care of your dog better than you do. While we did get some adorable pictures sent to us of our puppy's playdates, we were not happy to find out from our neighbors that our puppy was running around without a leash (against our instructions) and that her kid was running in and out of our house like it was their own. We also discovered that our pup was getting overfed (again, against our instructions) not to mention coming home a couple of times and finding our side door wide open or unlocked. Yeah, not so much. If you have a grown dog that just needs a good run at the the beach with other dogs, this is probably a good deal for you. Not a good deal if you have a new puppy or don't care about your house being left wide open. There are much better options out there- we found a spectacular woman that comes every day and we love her. read more

Trina and Craig are great! We think our dog Tumble might like hanging out with them more than us because with them he gets to go to the beach and hang out with other dogs all the time. Tumble loves Ft. Funston and going to the beach every day is dog heaven for him! Our terrier mix is so much calmer and relaxed in the evenings now that he is getting enough exercise and doggie playtime during the day. They also send lots of pictures of Tumble on the excursions which are great to see when we're at work. Trina and Craig have also watched Tumble overnight and I felt so much more comfortable having him at their house than in a kennel.
