The driveway is a little confusing but once you pull in there is parking in the back. There's an old home as the main venue, a large courtyard and a smaller building in the back with huge windows and glass garage doors that can open all the way for an indoor/outdoor spot. Also, it is located in an area with lots of hotels nearby, which was extremely helpful for our out of town family and friends. We had about 150 guests at our wedding, and everyone fit comfortably in the Halle. Our guests said that they thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the short ribs. Additionally, Kryssi, the venue coordinator was PHENOMENAL. We booked Magnolia Halle for our wedding venue over a year in advance, and Kryssi was very responsive to our messages and questions throughout the entirety of that time. We were able to visit multiple times before our wedding to envision how our decor would look, and we really appreciate all of the help and attentiveness that Kryssi provided. She is very kind and wonderful, which made our experience of planning our wedding at Magnolia Halle seamless and fun! About a week before our wedding in March 2025, they installed a new projector and A/V system that we were able to utilize and it was a game changer. But don't sweat, those areas have TV's broadcasting the mass! Should I really rate a church anything less than 5 stars? I may have to say a Hail Mary after posting this. But in my defense, the parking and traffic are pretty terrible. I know St. Matthews has traffic cops before and after mass. I have no idea if St. Luke's has any. If they don't, they definitely need too!

Our last stay I was really disappointed at the changes that had been made to the decor mostly because they make no sense and did not improve the property in any way. I sincerely hope that the owners did not pay for this decor design. It's pretty awful. (And kind of funny bc it's ALL over the place). What used to be rustic and charming now seems to be modern (gold fixtures, tiled shower, trash cans) asian (black trim, bathroom doors, headboard fabric), kitschy (lasso bedside lamps- that aren't good for reading and don't dim), with a 50's retro flair (the refrigerator and the blue tooth), and modern cowboy art on the walls. Yet, no one thought to include charging ports for electronics! It's so confusing. They pulled out the nice big tub and put in a shower that doesn't have a door and has a shower head with no pressure and no direction to it- so to say it plainly, it's difficult to get clean! Amongst all the changes perhaps fixing the toilet so it doesn't randomly run might have been a good choice. One of the reasons we use to like to stay were the delicious breakfast tacos that were provided. I don't know if they will come back or not as the lobby was under construction, but based on the decor choices my guess is they will make some equally terrible decision regarding the lobby and maybe do away with it all together? Who knows!What it has going for it is that the views are amazing (thankfully they couldn't change that or my guess is they would have)! The bed was comfortable and the towels were top notch. Maybe if you've never been before you won't find it as disturbing but I just had a hard time reconciling the fact that they paid to make the place worse. We might have to find different digs when we're in the area.

They also have an adult performance team and a kids academy. Every first and third Friday, they have a Salsa & Bachata social, "Mambo Kurabu". This is the event I attended and had a blast. The cover is $10 and you can purchase your ticket online. They don't take cash. It starts at 10pm and ends at 2am. I got there closer to 11:30pm and there were lots of people already there. Everyone was super friendly and they actually ask you to dance. I had such a good time dancing. The floors are smooth and perfect to dance. There was also a performance at midnight. The music was great too! You can reserve a table for 4 people for $15. I didn't even sit all night. You can bring your own drinks (twist tops and cans) but they have water bottles available for $2.
