From the moment that I met Robin, I was obsessed. I am always skeptical when considering a service because of the breed of dog that I own. I needed my American Bully puppy to be socialized, and Robin was MORE than happy to help. She also assured me that she had experience with the breed, and that she did not discriminate. When her and my Katana met, it was such a fun thing to watch as Katana showered her in kisses, and she gave her so much love back. Katana waits at the door every Mon-Thurs for Robin to come. She loves her group walks, and Robin does so well with her. Robin is very good at implementing any commands that we use at home, and/or are currently working on in her training. Robin's Pet Squad was recommended to me a few months ago when I was looking for a dog walker for my two very active labs. Robin recommended I have them do the one hour playgroup/walk because of their activity level. After the first week of a three day schedule, I increased them to four times a week. My dogs are so excited when the walkers get there, they leave my house with their tails wagging and come home the same way, only tired in addition to happy. The walkers have been very dependable and I feel very comfortable having them take my dogs out. Any questions I've ever had have been answered in a very timely fashion. After every walk I get feedback and pictures about how my boys behaved. I highly recommend Robin and her squad for your dog walking needs. Robin's pet squad has always done a great job with our dog, Cora. We have had multiple walkers stay with Cora while we have been away and loved the use of the app and updates we received about Cora while we were away. Cora has loved every walker we've met and is always well taken care of. Our neighbor (who also loves Cora) always tells us how well they care for her while we are away. read more

I know it's hard to find reliable dog walkers in Newton but stay away from Robin's Pet Squad. They come across as very professional and say all the right things and their website does as well but they do not follow their own stated policies and will cause you a lot of aggravation. I was a client of Robin's Pet Squad since August 2021. At first I was very pleased. The walkers were very good with our 2 small dogs and one is quite difficult. They worked with us, they came on schedule and we're very reliable in the beginning . That changed as the company grew. For example, even though they promised that a new walker would always meet our dogs and be trained before they came to our home alone, that was not the case. Often I would be notified, with very little notice, that a new walker would be coming and asked if I could do the training. If not, the new walker would come anyway and it would be "ok". The walkers often forgot to check the water level in the bowls and didn't clean my dogs off after a wet walk even tho I requested that and was told that this would happen. New walkers would show up and tell me all they knew was the code for the lockbox so I always had to make sure I was home if a new walker was coming. The whole point of having a walker was that I would be unavailable. Robin and Jake did not seem to understand that they provide a service that their clients depend on for the health of their pets. The other thing that happened over and over was Robin's Pet Squad changing the schedule and charging even if their walkers were much later than the proscribed time we had arranged. I would tell them I considered them a no show when a walker was an hour late. They responded by telling me that they had another walker covering for my walker who was out on vacation (not a problem) and that they couldn't keep to the usual schedule which was a problem for us.The problem was that they never communicated this to me so I would be waiting for the walker who never appeared. Again, this would be a walker who would be coming into my house, untrained, as a stranger to my dogs and my home. Not acceptable. However Robin's Pet Squad never seemed to understand this and accept responsibility for these deviations from their own policies. They could violate the terms of their own policies yet hold everyone else accountable. They are completely unprofessional and caused us a huge amount of stress and anxiety. We stayed with them for all the time we did because the actual walkers were very nice. However, we have since found companies with equally great walkers who communicate to their clients and who are less expensive!! So if you're looking for dog walkers, keep looking and stay away from Robin's Pet Squad. read more

Robin's pet squad has been amazing to work with! They take good care of our pup while we're at work by bringing her out on hikes and we can tell our pup looks forward to the hikes because of how excited she gets when the dog walker arrives to pick her up. Their app is also great as you get to see photos of your pup after their walk. I would highly recommend their services! read more

Our large, adolescent dog has been doing hikes with Corinna twice a week for about a month. It's been so helpful to our family in managing our dog's exuberant energy-level, so we've just added a third weekly hike to our schedule. Our walker, Corinna, is personable, competent and great with our dog. She sends a short note and photos after each hike, and is also willing to answer questions if I'm around at pick up or drop off. The mobile app used for scheduling, payment and communication works well. All in all, the service seems well-run and meets our needs. We're so happy to have found Robin's Pet Squad! read more

Hands down, I would recommend Robin to anyone who wants a reliable, responsible dog walker and one who totally adores dogs. She has been my dog walker for 5 years and has been nothing short of amazing. My dog absolutely loves her, which is most important. She is very much in tune to my dog and has notified me any time something was even the tiniest bit off (a change in my dog's doody). My dog is a mouth kisser and Robin lets him give her as many kisses as he wants. THAT is an amazing dog walker. I love love love her and you will too. read more
