Later when we went to pick him up the manager looked at the cameras she said my dog was in the corner and the other dog came up and attacked him. So she lied on the phone. I asked her if it was bad and I needed to pick him up. She said it was a little scratch. He sat in a crate the entire day. When we picked him up he has a gash that was bleeding and goosing everywhere. We brought him to the vet right away and he now has a staple in his nose, is on pain meds and antibiotics. He is so lethargic and nose is swollen. I am deeply disappointed with how they handled the situation and lied to us multiple times. From the start, communication was disorganized. I had already sent in my dogs' vaccine records, yet I was asked to resend them because staff couldn't access the email address I was originally told to use. This was frustrating and felt like an unnecessary waste of time. When I picked up my dogs, several issues raised serious concerns for me. Their bed was returned broken, some of their toys were missing, none of their food was given back, and all of their treats were untouched which made me question what level of care they actually received during their stay. For a bill of nearly $900 for just three and a half days, I expected far better. What made the situation worse was the lack of urgency in addressing these concerns. Days went by without resolution, leaving me feeling that my time and my dogs' well-being were not valued. This was not the experience I anticipated, and based on what happened, I cannot recommend this facility. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because no pet owner should have to feel this way after trusting a business with their animals.

After seeing their cramped tiny cages and their suggested use of gabapentin to reduce cat's stress while stuck in those tiny cages all day, we continued our search - and were so thankful to find PawBuddies. The owner, Jolana, and her staff truly do care about their cat guests' comfort. Each cat gets their own beautifully decorated suite complete with cat tower, wall climbing features and tv (for cat videos). Plus they offer additional perks that helped our cat feel even more at home. Jo sent us detailed daily text updates and cute photos of our little guy eating, playing, and exploring. We could see how happy and completely stress-free he was (and no gabapentin needed!). We are so grateful for their amazing care. I've had a few times where my dog has come back with scratches and bleeding from his head. Dogs play rough at times, I get that, but they seem to have plenty of people out there watching the dogs and should be able to monitor these things before they get out of control - which they don't seem to do. There are a few employees which do a fantastic job, but for the most part, that isn't the case. For what they charge at CMAH, the service should be way better and accurate.
