While everyone I spoke to before the visit on the phone was very helpful, I was even more impressed with the atmosphere at the actual visit. The technician, Annika, was very friendly and very informative. Milo took to her immediately. Dr. Puccio was equally welcoming, patient, and informative. I feel very confident and pleased with our choice for veterinary services and look forward to a long, ongoing relationship for Milo.

Her face started showing gray. The weekly chucka-ball slowed alittle but still loved it. She started getting dry heaves and she seemed restless. We took in on a Monday and was prescribed bland diet, clucosamine and benadryl, blood was done, negative. And told to watch her. End of week she was worse so we took her and more tests were done. Three days for the result and negative Another test suggested but she didn't stay alive for it. I took her good health for granted and relb8ied on the Vet to get to the bottom of her lillness. We could have been told to go to Emergency earlier or given the option to euthanize. The scene of her beautiful golden eyes turning to dark pools a agony well ever be in memory.

We had always told ourselves that when the time would come we would want to say goodbye in our home, the home he grew up in. We felt like it would be less stressful for him and more peaceful for us. We asked our vet who had been seeing him all his life Dr Leigh Semilof from Williamson Animal Hospital to come over. We thought she was going to make this terrible sad day a little bit easier. Well we were wrong. She showed up earlier and said she had another appointment to go to after. Her comments and her demeanor was telling us she just wanted to get it done and over with to move on with her day. This was such a hard decision for us to make not something we wanted to rush. She was surprised he was still so alert and said she wasn't prepared for that. She just wanted us to grab him and hold him still so she could install the catheter on his leg. I said don't you usually give them a shot to relax them first? She said well I don't really have anything and then looked in her bag and took something out and said that would work that would make him feel dizzy. I had to walk away from the room I was so sick in my stomach. I will always regret not telling her to just leave but it would've not been fair for him to keep him any longer. She showed no compassion no empathy it was just a job for her. Needless to say I would stay away from her. I no longer bring my other dog to her office and I definitely would never recommend her to anyone.

She LIED to me about surgery that she said could save him from terminal cancer. She LIED to me about the bill and then took me to Small Claims Court, even though I was making regular monthly payments. At court, she LIED TO THE JUDGE and submitted a false and incomplete medical record as evidence. My advice is AVOID THIS VET LIKE THE PLAGUE, unless you enjoy seeing your pet tortured, you enjoy being lied to, and you don t mind handing her a great deal of money for the above. Evidently she has done this before, as the 6 members of this face-book group attests: MY PET WAS TORTURED OR KILLED BY LEIGH SEMILOF DVM. And I have no doubt she will do this again, because it s money she needs -- malpractice lawyers are like Morgan horses. They don t come cheap.
