They didn't touch him to examine him (he is a sweet doodle!!), gave meds, and told me to come back in 24 hours if still not better. I called next day and they couldn't get him in for 3 days. I was going to switch vets, but decided I would give another chance. This time he is sick and I called and they couldn't get me in for at least 3 days (well maybe more with weekend) and referred me to their sister hospital that is an urgent care! What is point of a vet if they can't help when sick. Done!

As an owner of rescue dogs, I sometimes have reservations about handing over our rambunctious furry pals to people who are accustomed to working with hand-raised and highly trained animals, but our dogs' behavior has never been an issue for Woodcrest. Also, when we got our first dog, a malamute mix, back in 2003, I spent a fair amount of time picking Jay's brain about caring for this breed. Jay was generous with his time and advice. I have always felt the dogs got good loving care at Woodcrest.
