This sounded like an aggressive dog situation. We have gone to this Pappy's for years (even when they were on Ohio), but I can't send my dog back there in good faith. No one from Pappy's has called to check on Summer and when they sent me a survey link, mysteriously, it didn't work they said they were having software issues. Anywho, they took her to a vet Friday after the attack (since we were out of town and she needed emergency care), but they didn't stitch her up. That was no cost to us, but they did still charge us for the boarding that should have been comped. We took her to her normal vet on Tuesday and she had surgery yesterday, stitches and a Penrose drain placed. $1800 out of our pocket. Also, a couple months ago, when we picked her up from getting groomed, she was acting like something was in her eye. The next day I took her to the vet to have that checked, and she had trauma to the eye. I don't know if that happened w the groomer or daycare afterward, but nothing was said to me on pickup and I gave them the benefit of the doubt that accidents happen. Now after this, no more Pappy's. I just don't get the feel that this place is professional and safely managed anymore.

I once thought they were the the best but now consider them amongst the worst. The attitude of staff is non caring at best and cruel at worst. Given the prices they charge one would think your animals are well taken care The last few times and (especially today) when we got them home at 3:30, they got out of our car and peed for nearly 2 minutes. It was clear the staff did not let them out to urinate for many hours. Horrible! The worst part; the dismissive, smug and "I don't give a d**m attitude"of the staff. No smiles, no greeting and no thank you. They are a miserable bunch to be sure. We really don't care about pleasantries but care a lot our about our dogs. For these reasons we will NEVER take them to Pappys again. Advice; you need completely new leadership and fire every one on the front desk staff and likely the people in the back who lock up dogs and don't even let them pee. I will be calling the city of Plano in the morning as an inspection is in order. If you care about your dog, Pappys is last place you should leave them.

I was delayed in Galveston for an extra 3 days. Phoned Wags informed of situation, they extended the dates and provided extra food as I prepared enough and one extra meal. Updates were provided at minimum once a day. Mason will definitely return when boarding is needed.

I was referred to Dr. Brewer by a friend after having a less-than-satisfactory experience at another clinic where the vet was in and out before I even had a chance to ask any questions. On the contrary, Dr. Brewer was super patient with me (first time dog mommy) as I asked all my questions, and really took his time for the new dog exam. I cannot say enough great things about Paw Paws, Misty and Chris. Misty is very helpful and answered all my questions. Tucker is a stress ball but Chris got him all calm and relaxed the entire trip. Tucker had an adventure with him that I think Tucker was sad for their road trip to end. I got 3-4 videos daily and pictures as well. Thank you Misty and Chris for taking care of my monster. He is very chill. I think he had a better transport than me! According to Tucker - he gives Paw Paws and Chris 2 paws up!
