This place has everything! We took our new puppy Blueberry to Pawtriotic Day Spaw to be groomed. This place is so cute, so much fun stuff for your pet. They even have a bakery!!!! My yorkiepooch went in looking a hot mess, and came out cool and cut down as short as they could get it (just how I like it especially in the summer months)! I saw this dog "spaw" (how cute!) while passing through the area one day, and decided to try them out. I called to make an appointment, and was glad they could accommodate us the very next day. The first 2 times I called, no one answered but you can leave a message and they will call you right back. Your dog must be current on all vaccinations, so make sure those are up to date! We walked in to a super clean and tidy shop, with prices clearly posted on the wall. I was happy to pay the average $65 to get my pup looking like he was going to attend a black tie affair! His fur tends to grow pretty quickly, so the shorter it is, the better. Taj did a wonderful job and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my doggy here again. I love the fact that they were able to get rid of his tear stains, which is a common problem for small sogs with white/light fur. He spent about 3.5 hours getting pampered here, and he loves every minute! Service was outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. Lots of parking available outside and they even have a sister store a few doors down, the Pawtriotic Dog Bakery. Gonna have to hit that up soon, too. Completely disappointed in my experience. I just got home from picking up my 10 month old black lab. He usually goes to the vet for his nail trims, but I wanted to see if a groomer could trim them as short as possible and he also needed an ear cleaning. Over the phone and when dropping him off, I made it very clear that I wanted his nails as short as possible. I even went as far as to show her a scratch that he gave me from his nails being long. The girl at the front desk told me not to worry, that they will handle it. Upon dropping him off, I was told about 3 hours and he would be ready. An hour and 15 mins later, I get a text that he's ready. When I pick him up, the lady brings him out to me and states that I should "give him Benadryl next time". She rings me up, and as I'm paying she tells me that they couldn't do his nails because "he didn't want it. And he's a big dog and he knows it" I'm sorry, but you want me to drug my dog so he is basically lethargic for you to do your job?? Absolutely not. He gets his nails every 6-8 weeks since he was 8 weeks old. He never required Benadryl before. Completely disgusting that someone would even suggest that. I basically paid $100 for him to smell pretty. And not even what my main concern was. They didn't even take off the price of the nails when they didn't do them. I still paid full price and tipped. DO NOT BRING YOUR PUPS HERE! Wow, I'm disgusted with how my dog was treated and the customer service of this place. I gave this place a chance since it looked like a nice new place and it stated it's Veteran owned. I'll start off by saying the front office staff member was the only one that demonstrated a sliver of professionalism and kindness to my dog or me. The tatted lady came out guns blazing with the nastiest rudest attitude when I asked questions about why my dog was treated this way. It states right on the desk when you walk in it could take 3-4 hours for dogs to be complete. MY DOG WAS LEFT IN A KENNEL FOR 3 HOURS AND 45 MINS, before anyone even bothered to call me and say he's anxious can't do anything for him gotta pick him up. Really?! He should've been done in that amount of time and not a single check in saying any issues were happening until almost 4 hours AFTER I DROPPED him off for his *SCHEDULED* appt at 1pm. The moment I came in I stated straight up this is his first time here; he's been to a groomer before and I groom him at home regularly with a blow dryer and he's comfortable doing his nails etc, she could tell he was nervous and reassured me they would take care of him. A HUMAN DOCTOR OFFICE wouldn't lock up a patient for almost 4 hours and expect that patient not be anxious when they finally see them! That is borderline neglect and you'd think people working here would at least love animals enough to see they are suffering and if they think it's gonna be a almost 4 hour time before they're gonna be seen, they'd have the humane decency to call the owner and ask them for to reschedule. Now my dog who DID NOT have this experience at the other groomer, but it's in Temecula so I decided to try this place out being that it's closer to home and trying to support a fellow Veteran, and they just cause my dog to have this traumatic experience and act completely RUDE to the customer who is clearly upset their dog was treated this way and RIGHTFULLY asks questions to why this happened! Why publicize it's going to take 3-4 hours to complete a dog then act surprised a dog is nervous to been seen after being left in a kennel for almost 4 hours in a unfamiliar place hearing other dogs bark all that time building up anxiety?? Why treat a customer so rude when they have all the right be upset you just traumatized her dog?? Their only excuse: we have plenty of other dogs put under the same circumstances and they don't have issues. Wow. No one called me at all zero times expressing there was an issue until 3hours and 45mins after he was alone in a kennel. Pictured: his scheduled time 1pm, they didn't call me till 3:41pm. Unacceptable; I wouldn't be surprised if my dog is scarred for life going to groomers because of this place at it's rude staff. Schedule time: 1pm, dog left alone and didn't get anything serviced, didn't call to inform me of any issues until 3:41pm, almost 4 hours later my dogs first time here, told the staff he is is nervous with first time experiences and they proceeded to leave him in a kennel for almost 4 hours and say this is "normal practice" even tho he was supposed to be DONE in 3-4 hours. They did a great job and I know my Samoyed is a lot of work with how much hair he has, but I paid $85 for my Chihuahua which seems like an awful lot. I took my 60 lb Samoyed in last year for grooming. After a brief look over the woman working there told me he couldn't be deshedded and that completely shaving him would be the only thing they would do for him. I read that completely shaving this breed is not recommended because the coat is what regulates their body temperature. Only in cases of extreme matting would this be done. His coat wasn't that bad so I took him to another groomer and they happily bathed and groomed him and they complemented me on how well I brush him. I guess this business didn't want my business so I would look elsewhere for more service and less attitude read more
