The good: Seating is plentiful and we were able to sit right away. They have both booths and large tables for larger parties if needed. Service was nice. The bbq sauces are some of the best I've ever had. The barbecue beans are delish and sweet, if you like a sweet barbecue bean. The cornbread was really good. The menu is quite large with tons of options. Cool atmosphere inside. And bathrooms are clean. The - could be better: my bbq brisket sandwich was extremely dry to the point some of the pieces i couldn't even bend the meat. There was very little bbq sauce on it so thankfully i loved the bbq sauces so i drenched it. All the sauces are kept on the tables for easy access. The okra was not crispy. The ribs looked good on the plate turned upside down but once turned over the tops were burnt and the meat was also very dry. Also the house salad, i had to ask for cheese and croutons, it came with one slice of tomato and one slice of cucumber. So the house salad is quite bland just a heads up. Will try again, hopefully just an off day with the meats.

This was a hearty soup with chunks of white meat chicken and soft dumplings. Basically chicken dumpling soup as they say, vs potatoes cube soup. It is a must have. I really did myself a disservice and only got a cup.... on my own vacation after working throughout the entire pandemic on-site. The gulf shrimp platter (I got blackened) absolutely delicious. I love the Bourbon Sriracha sauce and used it as a dipping sauce for my fries. You can also never go wrong with hearty mashed potatoes and their gravy. We got the shredded pork and the Texas Brisket and my dad said the brisket was some of the best he has ever had. They have pitchers of cold beer with the frozen metal cubes in the center. And even though it was a hot day, we thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink. Not to mention the river that is located right next to the venue.
