We were in Venice for the holiday weekend wanting pizza Saturday night. We decided on Bogeys based on the menu pics. We ordered a med pizza-sausage and extra cheese, and an order of wings (10) not sauced, sauce on the side. Our server was great! Very enthusiastic about the food options and very attentive. The pizza was amazing! The wings are breaded, I'm not sure it said that on the menu. I was surprised but def not disappointed, they were very good! The only sauce I can recommend is the teriyaki and the ranch, not a fan of the buffalo mild. It's a sports bar with lots of TVs, and it seems like lots of regulars at the bar. Went to this place twice on my vacation. Has plenty of TVs to watch all sports. Sat in the bar area and had great service both times. Had the flatbread pizza and the grouper Reuben. Both were very good. I need some help, though, I would like the recipe of the mock strawberry lemonade cocktail that Michelle :) made. I did not get the recipe before I left. Great place to watch games!!! We watched IU last weekend in the Peach Bowl and again tonight for The National Championship against Miami!! Tons of Hoosiers here!! There are huge TVs around perimeter and also at some of the tables!! Tonight was a Monday and run a $7 burger and fry special!! Great!! We also had the mozzarella sticks, meatballs, and wings!! Bogeys is my go to spot for my local sport events when I want to be able to sit down to some good sports season grub and have a nice cold one with it. The staff is always super friendly and always check on if you need anything and how things are. One of the managers I know from the gym and he's a great guy! The food is good sports bar food, there wings have improved tremendously over the years! But seems like there wraps and sandwiches have fallen short the past few times, there Ruben is just to small for the price compared to there calzones/roll ups witch are a great portion for the price. They play all the games and have TV's at some of the tables, could do more sport event specials or just any events in general more often, and better seasonal specials. read more

Solid neighborhood place. Hard to find live music in Lutz and this hits the spot. My wife and I came here for the first time. Great vibe. Food was good, but not great. The inside had a strong bleach smell. I appreciate clean, but it was a little overwhelming. Bartender Rabecca did a great job taking care of us. Ordered smothered chicken breast grilled Was done in literally 2 minutes. Chicken looked like it was microwaved, potato cold. Then ordered a hamburger medium , done in 3 minutes no grill marks or browned at all. Mushrooms were cold. Meat was rare. This place used to be great. read more

The good is that Lydia has to be the world's best waitress! We were a table of 15 and she was amazing; quick, polite and worked her butt off! The food, delicious! But we were all sweating in our food! We couldn't wait to get out of there and the poor waitress said the air conditioning was working at its peak because it was so hot out. We've been in Venice 4 years and never happened to try Bogeys. The outside appearance just didn't call to me. But, we decided to give it a try recently and we were pleasantly surprised. As other reviewers mentioned, it is ridiculously noisy inside. Certainly not a place to have a quiet, intimate conversation!! But, for a reasonably priced glass of wine and a very decent burger, they can't be beat. The fries were the best we've had anywhere in Florida! The staff is extremely pleasant and patient with all of us "older folks". We are definitely making Bogeys part of our dining repertoire!! We're not really sports people, but I'd say there is a tv screen available for every taste ... football to tennis! Probably pretty chaotic on a football Sunday!!! read more

This was our 2nd visit. 1st time was the superbowl and that experience was awesome! This visit we went to watch the football game only to find out that there was no sound. Which completely ruined it for us. The food was decent. My husband says the pizza is awesome. As we were eating and trying to hurry up and leave; the TVs all go blank. On top of that the manager was talking about an employee not keeping up to two of her coworkers. Which is complete BS. He should address that with her and not involve others. I went specifically for a pizza, as you know if you're familiar to the area, it's hard to find a good pizza. I went in on a Saturday evening and was seated right away. My server was Anna, very pretty young woman and her service was exceptional. She was very attentive to my drink level and on top of the refills. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, black olives and peppers. The pizza took about 15 minutes. I have to say I was very impressed with it !! There were a good amount of all the toppings. Plenty of cheese with a good ratio of sauce, toppings and cheese. I strongly recommend Bogey's for their pizza. Nice sports bar there were TVs everywhere. Happy hour was 2 to 6. Wednesday is one dollar wing night with a five wing minimum. Monday is six dollar burgers with a drink. We split the Cajun wings with the bogey dipping sauce. It was a bit too sweet for me but the wings were good. We also ordered the 8 inch margarita pizza and it was pretty good. the service was very slow but our server was very nice and apologetic and she said they were shorthanded, that happens. We've taken to this place primarily due to the Thursday Trivia games, but prior to that (we've been coming down to Venice for several years now) we enjoyed this sports themed bar for its decent beer list ( don't get me started on Florida's alcohol distribution system) and reasonably priced food. Mondays features a discounted hamburger that brings them in, Thursday was Italian night and I got manicotti with a side salad and chicken Alfredo for 9$ which is a good deal anywhere. We ordered a white pizza, Margherita pizza, and the chipotle ranch blackened chicken pizza. All of which were yummy! I recommend dipping the white pizza in bogey sauce!
